Hey everyone

Please join me on my journey of TTC baby no 1 (5 months of TTC). It can be a rollercoaster of emotions and I think a positive thread of news, updates and tips is needed!

@Hey1256 I know it feels uncomfortable to be all wet down there. I try to only wipe around but 'inside' if that makes sense sorry if Tmi but for me its never 100% inside. Some seems to drip out, so I actually find putting legs up against the wall helps gravity do its thing! I'm used to cleaning myself and peeing afterwards too but I try not to. If I have to really go best not to hold it.

Yes it's horrible haha! But I've read up that most of it shoots into you and that left over stuff that comes out or is around your lady regions is the semens nutrients and excess fluid. If it's healthy sperm filled semen 10s/100s of million sperm has gotten inside.

the position that literally has nothing coming out of me is from behind. Once done I flip over and it's the tiniest bit of wetness! Usually with missionary I have to use half a loo role but when we've done it from behind I literally use one sheet!

If a bean doesn't stick this month I will continue doing that position next month and I will try sideways too when I'm tired haha.

This is my test pretty hard to see as picture is rubbish but I’m going to try again in the morning

I see a faint line within the red circle I've drawn! Is this where you see it?

@MisssC3025 yeh that’s what I see also - it’s also clearer in person and I took the test at 5pm after only like an hour or 2 hold as I just felt I wanted to lol so I’ve been holding since absolutely bursting but trying for the 6 hour mark before bed to see if it’s any clearer. I think I’m only about 9dpo roughly - fingers crossed but so worried it won’t stick as it happened 2 months ago.

I’m really nervous as it didn’t stick 2 months ago so I have lots of cheapies I’m going to use over the next 5 days to check if it’s getting darker 😬

Update- I just took a cheapy test, what looked like a vv faint pink line appeared, i took it downstairs to show OH and it had gone Not even a minute after it showed up, it just disappeared. Talk about a kick in the teeth. So looks like I'm out this month.
@xarx123 can definitely see something, hope its the start of your BFP, definitely test again in the morning! 🤞🤞xx

Anyone awake need advice !!

6dpo and going London tomorrow for a friends birthday! We are going to a bottomless brunch 2 hours of unlimited prosecco and pornstar martinis! What do I do? If I refuse drinks (especially unlimited ones) my friends will clock on!!
We're continuing the day at a crazy golf bar and then going to a rooftop bar then a club!

Any advice really don't want my friends to clock on just yet!! ☹️☹️😩😩

@AL94X that's so odd!! Did you keep it horizontal when you walked around with it? Did you take a pic?

Maybe try again with morning wee??

@MisssC3025 I would have three drinks max, that's my routine until I get a positive. I'm also trying not to drink Except one day a week.

I think a few drinks won't do any harm. Or at least 1 drink and say you're on antibiotics?

Hi Ladies, first time ever using this so bare with...Im TTC and i used Natural Cycles app and essentially im in the 2 week wait, Had positive LH readings cd 18 19 the app predicted ovulation cd20 but last night Cd23 i had what looked like implantation bleeding but is it too soon to get that as its only 5 days at most since conception but this looked exactly as implantation bleeding is decribed i took a picture after a few wipes but not sure how to upload it and the today cd24 nothing atall when i wipe... how long until i can test my app says my period isnt due for another 9 days as my cycles are 35-38 days. Any advice welcome ??

@Hayleylou89 hey I use Natural Cycles! Great app! The fact you had something when you wiped could be implantation bleeding 🤞🏼🤞🏼 as you're so far from AF yet!! You won't be able to download a picture yet if you're new to Mumsnet! Think it takes a few days.

If I were you I would wait until first day AF is due to test! And I would use a FRER as pink dye is more sensitive. I have everything crossed for you!

How long have you been trying?

Thanks for replying ...So i come off the pill in January and was getting a married in June so was using the app to prevent for the first 6 months, Went on honeymoon in Aug so this is first month really TTC my cycles are either dead on 35 days or dead on 38 but each month its one or the other... yes its so wierd that im So far from AF and it definitely wasnt like AF it was a light pinky colour, I dnt really feel any other symptoms my boobs arnt sore, (they were a little during ovulation as always and i had ovulation pains too for a couple of days) but no sore boobs now, just a little headachy but nothing major, ill try and post pics in a few days, Im going the fair today for neice and nephews bday (think ill

Hi lovely ladies,

I am a glutton for punishment as I tested just now when I promised I wouldn't... AF due on 25th and have been getting very odd pains which cant be period pains - unless AF comes early.

I did a FRER test. I'm not going to post a photo as the faintness of the test line is embarrassing haha! BUT if I look hard enough it is there. I opened a second test and I couldn't see a test or pregnancy line at ALL in comparison to the one I just used.

Thoughts on this one? Maybe I am just being a Hopeful Hannah.

@StephyRose well you took the right test if testing early. They do say FRER can detect few days before AF and I guess it's only 4 days! So 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 maybe don't take anymore until 25th (I know that's very hard but will be a lot stronger then if you are pregnant!)

These pains feel like period pains and I usually have PP on the day of AF or just before ... but day 22 of cycle is far too early. I've never had a cycle that short before ... 🤔

I was disappointed an hour ago when I thought it might not be. But I feel okay about it now. Plenty of time for trying next month .... DP won't know what has hit him! 🤣🤣

Will test again on the 25th anyway. 🤞🤞
