well, next installment! went to gps and got a bfn there but the nurse wasnt convinced especially with my history. the upshot is that she thinks i'm pg. so ive had a blood test done. should get results tomorrow. im so so scared!

At least you'll have a definite answer with the blood test.

scorpio1 · 16/08/2007 13:47

sending love your way

are you ok?

lissie · 16/08/2007 13:51

i suppose. ended up sobbing in the room. nurse got all concerned and went to get doc who advised blood test. nurse seems pretty sure that i'm pg and my last af wasnt an af at all. i kept pushing for more info but they seemed awfully reticient. im really scared now. what if i am pg and its another ep?

wouldn't you get a BFP by now? or does it work differently for ep's? wouldn't you be about 5/6 weeks now?

i hope you get the answer you want-either not or one in the right place.

jess1996 · 16/08/2007 13:54

If it is an ep, then at least it's better to catch it really early (and surely it's really early if HCG levels are so low they're mostly giving bfn). I sympathise though. When I start ttc-ing again, I'm sure I'll be constantly worrying about another ep.

lissie · 16/08/2007 13:54

i get v erratic bfp's on wee sticks. but my ep was faint bfp then bfn then clear bfps

scorpio1 · 16/08/2007 13:55

well i wish you so much luck for tomorrow. let us know, i will worry!

lissie · 16/08/2007 13:58

thanks, i will. i just dont what to do with myself. nurse seemed pretty sure that i was pg, even with a bfn.

on your past history only or because of somethign else? are you sick, pain, headachey? (I remember that u get headaches)

lissie · 16/08/2007 14:06

yes. ive had one-sided headaches, been vv sick with little bit of diarroeha. sickness is still there and despite not eating properly for a week my "period" jeans are vv snug. also v drained/shattered and bp is up a bit. also with all my pgs (even ds) ive had early bfps and at 6w+ bfns

Lissie, fingers tightly crossed for you xxx

lissie · 16/08/2007 14:49

thank you. i will ring the docs up first thing. bet i wont get the results back til monday now tho. lets face it, its me!

how are you doing? when is your non-HSG thing (cant remember the name)

OP posts:
jess1996 · 16/08/2007 16:33

I have another blood test tomorrow. I'm hoping my HCG is back to normal and it will be the last blood test. My follow up appointment is in October. I think it will be quite useful as I've lots of questions to ask which I didn't think about when in hospital.

I've got my fingers crossed for you lissie. Whatever the blood test result tomorrow, at least you'll know what's happening and you'll be having the correct monitoring/treatment if required.

lissie · 16/08/2007 16:35

i have a list of questions that i asked my specialist after my ep if you would like them. its always best to go in there and ask loads of q's, keep em on their toes

OP posts:
Impatience · 16/08/2007 16:36

Hycosy. Or as they write it on the letter: HyCoSy. Which just looks silly. It's on Wednesday. And here I am with litres of fm (yick) not able to ttc. Not that anyone ever confirmed that of course. Oh how tedious.

jess1996 · 16/08/2007 16:44

I have loads of ewcm today too! I keep thinking what if this month is the one, but then I know that it isn't a good idea to get pregnant straight after surgery.

Thanks for the offer lissie. My questions so far are:

How has this affected my fertility?
If I OV on my left side will I get another ep (since I still have the possibly defective tube)?
How bad are the adhesions that are on my right side (I had the impression they were pretty minimal)?
Is it worth me having the HSG test?
