Anyone else in the TWW and want to keep each other sane?

Thank you @MrsMeow2019, I've been getting reiki and I think it's really helping me - sadly I can't have chocolate, I'm hypersensitive to caffeine so I have to avoid it (but I make up for it with cake!) x

@itsquidstella I get pimples before AF every cycle - but that doesn't necessarily mean you're not pregnant!

@Blossomingflower94 Did you test again today?

I made it through the wedding yesterday with pretty limited drinking, had the prosecco for toast and one glass of white wine which made me feel a bit sick, so spent lest of the night drinking diluted apple juice from a wine glass, looked convincing enough, at least to the drunk people 😃 The trickiest bit was fodging the bride's attempts to do shots 😄

Not sure if the fact the wine made me sick means much, I can normally handle my drink well but there was way too much food so could have something to do with that.

Its so easy to get disheartened at the moment. Did another cheap test this morning and was a BFN, guessing my faint yesterday was just a faulty test or evap.

How is everyone else coping with their mood being so up and down?

@Blossomingflower94 I'm having a semi lazy PJ day ironing and watching Netflix while my fiancé is working them watching the football.

Comfort dinner planned tonight with steak pie mash & peas.

I'm trying to perk myself up by reminding myself that if we're out my next fertile week is in the run up to our wedding so we'll be in the perfect mood for celebrating x

Well according to my app AF due today on day 37. But last month was 39 days and I had my peak ovulation 2 weeks ago on Thursday so I'm predicting a long rotten cycle and af on Friday... just in time for my holiday! I was hoping to surprise my DH with a positive just before we left... fingers crossed for a miricle!
Boobs ever so slightly soar today and I've still got some shows of thick, creamy CM (so sorry if tmi) so I think I'm on track for AF 😬
I haven't tested once this cycle. Last month I drove myself insane with constant testing and I must say that I feel a lot better and more relaxed doing it this way! I just got rid of every single test in the house to take temptation away!

Feeling quite nauseous today. Keep getting wiffs of stuff... I really need to stop symptom spotting.

@Blossomingflower94 Sorry about the BFN! I think it could still go either way at this point!

@MrsMc2019 Sounds like a lovely chilled Sunday! That's a good way of looking at it!

@november90 I admire your patience, especially with the long cycles! I don't know if creamy CM necessarily foreshadows AF, don't most people dry up before their period?

@Raizelrea how many dpo are you now? Sorry for tmi but I think I've just had some pink-tinged cm (in underwear, nothing when I wiped); am really hoping it's not AF because I'm definitely no more than 10dpo and that would indicate a worryingly short luteal phase 😞

@itssquidstella I think I'm 10 DPO. Sounds like you might be having implantation bleeding, hopefully it stays light! How exciting! Never thought I'd get excited about CM haha!

@Raizelrea ha me neither 😂 if that's what it was then I still have two days before I can test so I'm trying to keep my expectations low...

I'm supposed to be going out later but I'm so shattered all I want to do is sleep! Again, that's more likely to be because I went back to work last week than anything pregnancy-related, or so I'm telling myself 🙄

@MrsMc2019 Cake is arguably much superior to cake, I'm a carrot fan myself hehe. And congratulations on the wedding, you must be really busy with last minute bits :D, We got married last year and this summer has been so quite with no organising to do :(. Hope you have a fabulous day and what a lovely time TTC!

@Raizelrea Well done for getting through the wedding wthout much alcohol, it's so difficult isn't it and people automatically assume you're pregnant if you happen to say no to a drink. Lol re the CM, I've been telling DH all about mine, there's a new level of sharing we never expected haha. I've googled so many pictures of EWCM I hope nobody else wants to use my laptop :/

@november90 You're one strong cookie not testing, you're right though, I'm going to take that advise next month. Too late now I've already done about 4 tests and I'm only 10 DPO. Fingers crossed for your BFP :)

@MrsMeow2019 I'm probably going to have to test on Tuesday - not sure I can wait till next weekend!

I'm currently 12 DPO Af due in Tuesday. My app tells me to test tomorrow but think I'll wait till Wednesday if Af doesn't arrive. What do you all think? Only 2nd month TTC. First month had terrible PMT week before AF this month nothing. Felt a little nausea but think that may just be a bit of anxiousness. If I don't get my BP this month I'm not going to symptom spot next month as can drive u insane x

Honestly it's been so much better not testing! It they're not in the house it's just so easy to not be tempted, if they're in the house I'd be testing 3 times a day like last month driving myself insane!
When will you both be testing? Sorry if you've just said I'm not up to date on the thread! X

@Nic555 I feel in a similar boat to you. No symptoms yet, expecting af on Thursday or Friday! It's so hard to no symptom spot isn't it?

@mrsmeow2019 It's difficult to say because i've been on nights so wasn't technically FMU. I'm going to test again tomorrow morning. I'll be 12 DPO tomorrow and that's when my app tells me to test based on ovulation. We will see. I'll just keep testing till AF arrives.

@november90 I'm not sure really, App says AF due on thursday which is 26 day cycle, and usually i go 24 or 27 days. So thinking I'll leave it till Wednesday morning which would either be 1 day late or 1 day early. I've still got some ICs though...so might gave and do it Tuesday if AF hasn't turned up. Are you going to test Friday ?

@Nic555 I suppose the sensible thing to say is wait until Tuesday but I'd test ! Good luck xx

@MrsMeow2019 Haha I've managed to refrain from telling my OH about CM... For now 😄 How did yours take it? 😄

@Nic555 If you have the patience to wait till your missed period and circumstances allow I would wait till then! (Do as I say, not as I do 😅). I know what you mean about the nausea, I've started having it last night and keep getting waves today at 10 DPO, but the problem with nausea is that it's one of those symptoms that can just be psychosomatic so it's not very reliable! Fingers crossed for you!

@november90 I took a test at 9 DPO (obvs negative as far too early) as I was going to a wedding, think I'll test again on Tuesday which should be 12 DPO and then on Friday at 15 DPO. This TWW as I'm attending two weddings and visiting family and friends abroad so everyone keeps thrusting alcohol at me, hence all the premature testing... I will hopefully adopt a similar approach to yours next month if we haven't been successful this time around.

@raizelrea He's not bothered , he uses it against me now. I said I was worried I ahvent' actually Ov'd this month as didn't get a positive OPK. He said 'but you said the mucus was fertile!' So I might tell him less next cycle !

Hey ladies, I'm currently 10dpo and thought I would join in with you all in this dreadful wait lol. Cause I think if I mention anything relating to pregnancy ro my DH again he might throttle me [laugh] so right now my boobs are killing and they have been Since Tuesday BUT mine tend to hurt before AF anyway. They are very painful though, my son hugged me and I winced to point he said sorry mummy. Apart from that my CM I've not noticed which I would if creamy :( I been crying a lot and also getting angry a lot but again this is normal run up..I usually get very clingy with DH when AF due but haven't at the moment. I've not done any tests and I wont unless i miss AF as i will be sad if BFN.

@Herewego2020 hi there! In the very early days of my first pregnancy with my son my stand out symptom was really soar boobs! I remember I didn't even want to talk about them as they hurt so much so this could be a good sign :) I'm with you I'm not testing. I'm 99.999% sure af will be here bang on time for me as I have 0 pregnancy symptoms just af symptoms...... taking a test would just upset me sooner 🤦🏼‍♀️

Sorry if this is grim guys but I checked my cervix and it's really firm..., I've read o line this is a key indicator that your not pregnant as of you are it should be soft! Does anyone know anything about this? I don't even know why I checked! 🤦🏼‍♀️

@november90 I've read that too, but I think it's all very difficult to interpret especially if it's not something you've been doing regularly, and assuming implantation happens at day 9/10 then you're body would be working up to a period anyway and won't know its pregnant until HCG is being produced.

I wouldn't read too much into it as it just causes more worry (says me after having checked this morning and spent the afternoon doing research )

@november90 I just don't want to get my Hope's up. I've been begging my dh since we miscarried to try again as it broke his heart and he said he just couldn't imagine going through that again. Then he finally said he is ready a year and a half later🙂. I've also not really had an appetite when usually I LOVE to eat 😅. Oh and I'm not sleeping but that could well be anxiety around all this lol. Wish I could just be more casual. Hope we all get our BFP soon.
Regarding cervix i became obsessed with checking mine, then I get confused with what's classed as high and the the whole feeling like a 'nose" etc. I'm sure you are right though when its soft it's a sign of pregnancy🤔 but dont go by it either 🤗
