Anyone else in the TWW and want to keep each other sane?

Hi, fellow testers,
Can I join the wait?
Due AF on the 6th Sept so will be testing around the 4th, too. Currently 2DPO :)

Blossomingflower94 · 25/08/2019 20:59

@Raizelrea I sounds hilarious but I know what time I ovulated too as I feel the 'pop' of the follicle. Never thought anything of it but apparently my mum was the same!

@Blossomingflower94 How interesting! Must be quite reassuring to actually physically feel it, I'd not been paying attention to my body that much until now, so every little cramp makes me think it must mean something now 😁

Banoffeepie91 · 25/08/2019 21:59

@Blossomingflower94 I’ve felt a ‘pop’ feeling like that as well! I never knew what it was before but it was on my day of ovulation so makes sense with what your saying!

My boobs are really really sore today, AF due on Thursday so not sure if i’ll test Tuesday or Wednesday or just wait.

AliSxo · 26/08/2019 00:49

@TTC1993 sorry to hear about what happened earlier in the year that must of been really shit to go through, sending you love.

I had cramps Friday-Saturday but they've eased off today. How early are you testing? With the FRER test it says 6 days so really that could be Thursday this week for me and now it's technically Monday so quite scary but also exciting xxx

AliSxo · 26/08/2019 00:50

@daisy129437 Hi!! I'm 6DPO and due AF on 4th September.. exciting times!! X

itssquidstella · 26/08/2019 08:14

@daisy129437 hi! I'm also due on the 6th. How are you finding the 2ww? Last month I found the first week worse because realistically I know there's no chance of experiencing symptoms yet - at least during week two you might actually feel things changing!

daisy129437 · 26/08/2019 10:03

@itssquidstella

A bit like you the 1st week isn't too bad but it's the second that's more difficult because I'm constantly desperate to POAS! Blush
I've promised myself I wouldn't test till at least 10/11DPO but knowing me that won't happen and I'll be testing by 8DPO haha

Raizelrea · 26/08/2019 10:15

@itssquidstella @daisy129437 Also due on the 6th! So far tww has not been too bad as I'm not fully sure when I ovulated, so the first few days I wasn't certain if I even am on the tww yet. I know it's too early to really have symptoms but that's not stopping me from symptom spotting now though 😆

Do you ladies have any distractions planned for your tww?

itssquidstella · 26/08/2019 10:24

@Raizelrea I'm back to work at the end of this week (teacher) so that should keep me busy! I'm the worst for symptom spotting; I keep having to delete my search history so DH doesn't realise quite how obsessive I am 😂

How are you planning to keep distracted?

Blossomingflower94 · 26/08/2019 11:13

@itssquisstella bonus of us having separate computers 😂

5DPO and no new symptoms. Just want it to be next week already!

Only thing I've noticed today is I am RAVENOUS. Ive lost 4kg this month because I've generally had 0 appetite but now I'm so hungry.

OP posts:
Raizelrea · 26/08/2019 14:43

@itssquidstella Oh I can imagine how you'd be symptom spotting during the school break! Thankfully my OH uses his laptop while I have my table so he doesn't see my searches 😂

I'm pretty lucky this cycle as we're going to a wedding on Saturday, then visiting my parents and then going to Austria for another wedding and a bit of a mini break, so the second week shouldn't be too bad. Too bad we can't do this every month!

@Blossomingflower94 Sounds promising! I normally get really hungry the week coming up to my period but not this early on so fingers crossed for you!

itssquidstella · 26/08/2019 14:47

@Blossomingflower94 hunger could be a promising sign! Fingers crossed for you!

@Raizelrea sounds like you've got plenty on in the next two weeks at least! Yeah I've been terrible this holiday - too much time to google every possible pregnancy symptom in existence! I'm quite looking forward to the distraction of being back at work 😆

Chaosonthehorizon · 26/08/2019 15:28

Do you all stop DTD as soon as you have got through the peak ovulation period?

itssquidstella · 26/08/2019 15:57

@Chaosonthehorizon no, because it's fun, but I'm less worried about exactly when we do it!

Blossomingflower94 · 26/08/2019 16:05

This month we did, we will definitely DTD again this month but we just haven't had time since.

Started getting period like cramping about half an hour ago. Only on CD 17 and I never get cramps until the day of. Really hoping this is implantation as currently 5DPO!

OP posts:
Chaosonthehorizon · 26/08/2019 16:11

Thanks, as we can’t get pregnant after ovulation?? Taking the kids to friends for a week without DH and now panicking we are going to somehow ruin our chances! Had peak on Tuesday and now on CD16

itssquidstella · 26/08/2019 16:15

@Blossomingflower94 exciting! Hope it is implantation!

Raizelrea · 26/08/2019 16:24

@Chaosonthehorizon If your fertile window has gone you don't need to worry. We DTD after but not for conception purposes haha, just because I think it's important that OH doesn't think I only want to DTD with him when I'm fertile. But if you're not physically in the same space it's not decreasing your chances - it's purely recreational at this point 😄

@Blossomingflower All fingers crossed for you, all the signs sound pretty good though I know it's better to not overthink it!

AliSxo · 26/08/2019 23:11

Hi All! With the FRER test when is the earliest you can test? It says 6 days before AF is due, so I'm due on Weds 4th September, so is it Thursday or Friday this week the earliest I could test? I think I'll wait until Saturday but just curious xxx

TTCmyfirstbambino · 26/08/2019 23:38

Hi all! I'm due in the next 5 days.. not 100% sure what day ovulation was.

My boobs have been killing me for a solid 10 days now and a couple of brief waves of nausea..

I've had 2 miscarriages this year, one in March (mother's day :'( ) and one in July.

I'm so fed up of the TWW, really hoping this is our month but I'm scared to get too excited..

I'm gonna try and wait til the weekend to test again (yes we all test early knowing full well it's too soon lol)

Fingers crossed for you all 💕

flossy12 · 27/08/2019 01:15

I'll be testing 7th September AF is due on the 8th technically but I have a busy weekend and need to know 😅 1DPO currently so the wait begins...

Raizelrea · 27/08/2019 08:27

@AliSxo I think the earliest they can be positive is a day or two after implantation, which can happen at 6 DPO the earliest, but is more common at 9-10 DPO. So it would depend on when you think you ovulated.

@TTCmyfirstbambino Sounds promising, fingers crossed that it's a good sign and that it's a sticky baby!

@flossy12 Welcome to the other side!

Raizelrea · 27/08/2019 08:30

I'm currently 5 DPO (or 7, I have two possible ovulation dates in mind haha) and had a bit of a weird experience last night.

I had a really strange dream last night where me and OH went through a brief trance-like experience of being able to see the future when we held hands. Only lasted about 20 seconds and all flashed in front of us very quickly so the only thing that stuck with me is some futuristic public transport 😆

In the dream we got accosted by a group of thugs straight after the vision so I woke up - this was about 2 am and I woke up with a sharp pain in my pelvis. OH woke up as well so I asked him if he had the same dream (since I could even feel his hands in the dream when I held them) but he had not haha.

I have a bit of nausea this morning but tbh I don't have a great stomach at the best of times, trying to not read much into any of this with it being so early, surely it's too early for any symptoms either way?

AliSxo · 27/08/2019 09:05

Hi @Raizelrea I'm 7DPO so by Saturday I'll be 11 DPO which is a good time to test I think xx don't want to test before work this week as it's a bit too early and if it's negative it'll annoy me for the day!! Xxx
