Thanks @Blossomingflower94 it's tough isn't it! We had a nice tea tonight so trying to just distract myself and be happy about other things, I'm not testing tomorrow I'll be 12DO for sure tomorrow but I'm waiting for AF now she's due Sunday xxxx

Blossomingflower94 · 27/09/2019 07:12

Love a good meal to cheer me up. Totally best to wait till AF too. I'm currently CD 25 of a 28 day cycle however AF arrived on day 25 last month. If AF hasn't arrived by Sunday I'll do a test then.

Everything crossed for you x

Hi ladies! Sorry to hear you both feel like AF is coming on, it's not over till it's over! Hope you enjoyed your nice meals and are in a better mindset no matter what the weekend brings! Flowers

AliSxo · 27/09/2019 07:40

Thanks @Raizelrea 💗

I had a 25 day cycle too last month I'm on day 26 today but If AF arrives today I won't be surprised xxx

Chaosonthehorizon · 27/09/2019 16:51

Has anyone else got bloating/swelling really low down in your abdomen (particularly anyone who already has children). Don’t think I have this usually but all months blurring into one! Boobs totally not hurting though 😓 so probably clutching at straws!

Raizelrea · 27/09/2019 17:01

@AliSxo Fingers crossed it doesn't arrive today, let us know either way!

@Chaosonthehorizon Sorry not much help - I always get bloated a few days before AF. Where in your cycle are you at the moment?

Chaosonthehorizon · 27/09/2019 18:29

AF due mon-weds. That is my worry, just normal not pregnant 😓. Think I might test on Monday morning and if BFN then know I am out and probably done ttc 3😓

Raizelrea · 27/09/2019 19:27

There's nothing saying you can't be pregnant just because you're having the regular luteal phase symptoms though 😊 Try to stay positive and Monday you'll be wiser.

Is it just the age gap between the children that would make you want to stop TTC after this cycle? Just wondering as you wouldn't want to look back in 10 years time thinking what if we tried another few months. Chances are if you really want a third it won't just stop cropping up on your mind 😞 But maybe a more relaxed "not trying" approach is what you need to actually conceive!

I have my fingers crossed for you on Monday!

TTCmyfirstbambino · 27/09/2019 19:41

Been feeling so so tired this week like I did the last two times I've fallen pregnant (unfortunately miscarried at 5 weeks both times) but really didn't think I was Pregnant again until I took 2 (cheap) tests about 10 mins ago and 2 faint positives!! (See pic)
I'm trying to stay calm but I'm so so worried and anxious already that it won't stick 😥 I'm 11dpo and really wasn't expecting a positive.
Any tips for getting through the first 12 weeks without worrying yourself sick?
I'm gonna do a clear blue test tomorrow morning and see if the line is any stronger..

Baby dust for everyone and keep your fingers crossed for me 🖤

Raizelrea thank you and you are quite right there is nothing to actually suggest I am not pregnant either (just occurred to me before opening mumsnet 😀. Great minds! Yes it is really and DH not keen on a four year gap and worried about an autumn baby also I guess at some point we have to draw a line and move forward. Thank you 😀

AliSxo · 27/09/2019 22:36

Amazing @TTCmyfirstbambino let us know how you get on tomorrow!!

@Raizelrea no AF just yet, I've had dizziness today which is always a sign she's on her way so she'll be here soon and I can crack on to the next cycle xx

Blossomingflower94 · 27/09/2019 22:45

Hello all

Firstly congratulations on the BFP. Lovely to see some more good news for you all 💙

Think AF will be here in full force tomorrow for me. Had some brown spotting with cramps today which is normal for imminent AF for me. Ill let you all know when it happens I'm sure ,😑

AliSxo · 27/09/2019 22:58

Same boat for me @Blossomingflower94 I suppose we're not out until AF arrives but it feels like I'm out this month xx

Raizelrea · 28/09/2019 09:35

@TTCmyfirstbambino Congratulations! I hope this is your sticky bean! 🤞🤞🤞

@Chaosonthehorizon I know what you mean! But if it were me I'd probably not stop altogether, just transition into a softer approach so that you don't have a "cut off point" so to speak. Just for your own mental health to go from all go to nothing could be a regret later down the line. But hopefully this is all a moot point and you have conceived already! 😊🤞

@Blossomingflower94 and @AliSxo Sorry ladies! Like you say it's not over till it's over! I've seen plenty of people around here who said they felt like AF was coming and ended up with a BFP! How has your holiday been @Blossomingflower94 ?

I'm at 6 DPO now which has somehow flown yet dragged. Not symptom spotting as such though nausea is had to ignore (it's more like motion sickness, car journeys are awful) - but judging by my last cycle this is just something that happens for me in the luteal phase with all the progesterone. I've also had cystitis and a flu jab which made me exhausted so it's all skewed anyway 😆 Onwards and upwards!

Blossomingflower94 · 28/09/2019 10:00

Yes the thought of a possible BFP is niggling at the back of my mind but I don't want to get my hopes up. Plus my BBT has dropped today which indicates imminent AF.

Holiday has been amazing, got to watch a close friend get married and it was just incredible. I'm in awe of their relationship, it's pure love. We also did lots of exploring and loads of long walks.

Flying home today, just packing up now. Looking forward to going back to reality.

How are you all feeling today?

Tested again today and I'd say it was a pretty strong positive.. 🤞🏻💕
Hope you all have a lovely weekend 🖤

AF has arrived 😭 day 28 on the dot. Gutted.
Onto cycle 3.

Raizelrea · 29/09/2019 09:46

@TTCmyfirstbambino Amazing, that is one solid BFP! Congratulations 😊

@Blossomingflower94 Sorry to hear that! Be kind to yourself and take it easy for the next few days. Out of curiosity, since you're having a pretty regular cycle, did your peak differ in the two months of trying so far or did it reflect the cycle length?

Blossomingflower94 · 29/09/2019 11:21

It differed. Last month was on CD13 and this month was CD16.

Going to chill for the next few days. Drink lots and hope for a BFP at the end of the month.

AliSxo · 29/09/2019 11:27

Hey @Blossomingflower94 sorry to hear that but you can crack on the next cycle, be kind to yourself, a duvet day with lots of your favourite food and good tv works wonders xx

Blossomingflower94 · 29/09/2019 21:09

Thank you.

Good luck to you for this month. Really hoping for some BFPs from this group. 💜

AliSxo · 29/09/2019 21:27

Hey @Blossomingflower94 I got a faint positive today, second line was visible but not as dark as the test line. I'm going to test again tomorrow and I'll share a pic xxx

Blossomingflower94 · 30/09/2019 05:04

Oh my goodness that's so lovely to hear. Huge congratulations xx

OP posts:
AliSxo · 30/09/2019 11:59

Thanks @Blossomingflower94 it's a lot fainter today so I'm not holding out hope, I'm roughly 15DPO still no AF so not sure what to think xx

AliSxo · 30/09/2019 12:00

@Raizelrea it was a fainter line today, bit upset but there's still a chance it might have implanted. Just going to keep testing until AF arrives xx
