TWW - testing 4th September

Anyone else in the TWW and want to keep each other sane?

I tested 12dpo and bfn, sure of ovulation as i use clearblue advance, i think I'll wait it out tonight and maybe test with fmu tomorrow morning if shes not here. Eek!

I've had some pink cm today which I wouldn't normally get - AF isn't due until Thursday or Friday, and normally it hits full whack with no preamble. I know it could just be an odd cycle but I'm hoping it might be implantation bleeding.

My question is, if it is implantation bleeding, is it worth testing or should I just wait to see it AF shows up on Thursday?

Sick off seeing these! I know it's wrong time of day to rest but felt sick this afternoon and itchy boobs... might be a sign instead AF is on her way xx

@itssquidstella after testing loads this month I won't be doing it again next month. It's too disheartening.

Up to you, id wait till the day of AF to test x

Yep. I'm officially out. AF just arrived. On day 25 :( that means my leutal phase was only 12 days long. Gutted. Really hope this doesn't affect my chances of conceiving.

@Blossomingflower94 Sorry to hear that! At least now you can focus on the new cycle. It's all such a nail biting time. Really plays with emotions. My breasts are so painful I can feel them constantly but like I said I get this before AF just cant remember if this intense. I enjoyed the movie ugly dolls with my son and even cried at end 😅 again I cry all the time before AF anyway. I'm dreading it coming and next cycle my DH is working so much overtime 😫. Ugh. Sending you all lots of positive vibes 💜

@Blossomingflower94 is it bad to have a leutal phase of 12 days? Mine is always that long .
Sorry AF arrived. It’s so bloody annoying (literally). I’m just waiting for mine to finish so i can start focusing on next ovulation.

@Blossomingflower94 sorry to hear AF arrived, always next month though! I read "In most women, the luteal phase lasts 12 to 14 days." (according to google!) so I think you'll be OK TTC.

AF due on Friday for me, have a nagging feeling I'm out this month but we shall see...

@banoffeepie91 No, 12-14 is normal but I normally have a 14 day leutal phase so don't know why its suddenly got shorter!

@Raizelrea Thanks for that article! I'm considering taking omega 3 and possibly checking myself for candida. I don't think I have thrush but may drink some probiotics just to improve my general health.

Think I'm out, think my AF has started, either that or implantation, not sure but slight blood when I wiped... fed up xx

@Blossomingflower94 Thank you, Mondays are always awful arn't they. Our IT systems decided to die on several occasions today and I almost threw the computer out of the window haha. Thankfully home and had dinner so bit more chilled now. I hope your day wasn't too bad

@AliSxo Loving the positivity! I go from being 100% certain AF is here to letting myself think she might not turn up. I cannot wait for the end of the week so I know for certain either way

Does anyone else think these last days are actually the most frustrating?

@MrsT94 Welcome ! It's so hard to balance their expectations too isn't it, you want to talk to them but don't want to upset them if it's not a BFP. fingers crossed for your BFP!

@Nic555 Sorry AF arrived, likely see you on the October thread, we will get there in the end :) (I just wish I knew how long that would be!)

@november90 I've just got vitD/folic acid from boots. We haven't established a plan for TTC really, just started after AF and continued until after we thought ovulation was, has been much less this last 2 weeks though, might have to switch to every other day next month

@mrsc1987 - you could have estimated ovulation wrongly and could be implantation ! :D

What are peoples views on OPKs? I tried this month with no success, wondering whether to just give up with them for a few months and try again if we haven't got a BFP by 6 months, it's so tough to test at the same time every day

My day ended with the early arrival of AF! Bloody delightful.

@mrsmeow 2019 yes I think I'll be in the October thread 😂 AF not fully here but sure she will be. I swear by ovulation sticks. Gives me peace of mind that I actually ovulated. I'd have pretty much missed it twice if I hadn't done them. I'm hoping I ovulate quicker this month. It's was day 27 C1 and day 32 C2 I did sticks for over two weeks which were all negative and it so depressing. I bought the clear blue 4 days plus sticks last month you can use your FMU and found them so much easier. Gave me 4days notice of ovulation so could plan better. Not that it helped though x

@nic555 i've ordered some clear blue for this month. Found it super difficult with the cheap opk's because of shifts. Hopefully the october bus will give us a good month.

Only + of AF making an appearance now is that I have another shot at a Sept BFP as my cycles are only 27 days (well this one was 25!)

They are so much easier. Trying to last 4 hours to do an OPK is so hard 😂 they are more expensive though so I think I'll use my cheap ones as well. I wish my cycle was shorter another 28 days to wait before I'm even in my fertile week is so annoying. Puts more pressure on us to get the BFP x

@Blossomingflower94 Sorry to hear AF has arrived, it's pants isn't it. But you can focus on the next cycle, do you have any new strategies to try or changes you think you'll make ? I'm already thinking I'm gonna get rid of the tests as it's just caused me more stress than necessary! And maybe look at doing SMEP.

@Nic555 Maybe I need to try the clear blue ones, FMU would be so much easier for me , may follow your recommendation , they just seem so expensive. It must be nice t know you ovulated, I'm not sure I did which means it's so difficult to work out what DPO you are :(

@Blossomingflower94 me too actually as my next AF will be due 29th September, maybe this thread can be kept alive! Seems a shame to start all over again :(

I would definitely recommend. Others you could be timing it completely wrong. I'm not very good at looking for other signs like cervical mucus. This month I'm just gonna scrap symptom spotting and wait for my stick to change. The clear blue show high and peak ovulation so you get a few days notice. I've deleted my app for this month as well as spend far too much time on it. I'm hoping relaxing will help. Easier said than done though x

If my AF has arrived tonight then looks like I'm having 21 day cycles which isn't too bad but not sure if this effects fertility x feeling fed up tonight x
