Any People taking a test August

Hi are there any people trying to conceive and Looking at testing this month? Would be nice to buddy up 😃. I have two boys aged 6 and 7 end recently stopped taking Microgynon (July). Can’t fully remember date of my last period, me and hubby thought we would take a relaxed approach but I am becoming obsessed! I am due on my period any day now but not had a positive test 😩. Not sure if I will have ovulated after being on pill for so long.

@Darell04 sorry that August wasn’t your month but you totally have the right mindset there! Focus on a new month 😌

I think I’m out too - took a cheapie from eBay today (4 days earlier ones) and it couldn’t have been more neg - AF due tomorrow so just waiting for her now!! Always next month!

Awwww maybe September will be our month :). I’m gonna try the ovulating strips n see what that brings for us xxx

I actually had an easy miscarriage on Saturday, the doctor said the hcg levels were low because there was obviously an issue and it wasnt going to carry through. Even though I was super early and it didn't stick, still have been feeling very sad especially since during the miscarriage it was super painful it wasnt like a normal period at all I felt really tender after. Anyway, hopefully we will try in september! I think I'm ovulating 6th september, anyone else around the same time? Xx

Ohh @Ellsbells112 I’m sorry to hear of your MC. That sucks. At least you know you can conceive. Hopefully September will be your month - positive thoughts ☺️

I’ve just got my period this morning - seeing it as a positive as it is the first one since stopping taking the pill. Hopefully we will have some September BFP’s between us 🥂 xxx

I'm ovulating the 5th of september I think, i will double check with the strips when the time comes xx

Hey everyone! I have calculated my my most fertile days and is this week Monday to Friday so me n the hubby are going to be busy haha! @Ellsbells112 good luck! Have you used ovulation strips? Really hope I’m ovulating as normal now I have had w proper period! Xxx

I did use them, I had a positive mark on friday then Saturday faint line and sunday nothing. We DTD on monday and Thursday morning and then super late Friday evening. I THINK I ovulated on saturday as I was getting ovulation pain across Friday and Saturday, I also had EWCM on friday day time and that's why we DTD that night lol! Apparently DTD when you see EWCM is a really good time as it helps the sperm along! Fingers crossed...
I'm getting anxious though, I want everything to be okay but I'm already obsessing urghh xxx

Hey everyone! I have tracked with OPKs this month and only got a positive last night so I think perhaps I am ovulating later than expected! The line was about the same colour as the control line but definitely not darker so I'm wondering if that was even the peak... I used my last OPK last night and my delivery doesn't come until Wednesday which will probably miss it either way. Guess we will just have to DTD as much as possible over the next few days! I am loosely trying SMEP. I'm usually quite aware of the little ovulation pains but haven't had those yet so I guess it will be any time in the next 24 hours! Fingers crossed for some positives for us all this month! xx

Hey @Darell04 sounds like a plan!! Now that I've looked up what SMEP means if I sont get lucky this month I'll try it next!!
We DTD 3 times during fertile window, twice around the time of ovulation so hopefully something this month

Good luck guys! Hope we get some BFP’s soon! I have used to the testing strips but so far not ovulating - using one step (lucky I bought in bulk off eBay!). @Ellsbells112 I’ll look out for the ewcm for a sign. Xxx

Hi Chelsea, how is the month looking for you?

I've felt a bit flat the last few days after getting a false BFP. Had a clear line at 12dpo but it had a little blob of dye which was suspicious. Had a day of excitement and then AF and BFNs the next day 😔. Still early days for TTC of course but that was still a massive disappointment!

AF is on the way out so almost time to start again!
