Any People taking a test August

Hi are there any people trying to conceive and Looking at testing this month? Would be nice to buddy up 😃. I have two boys aged 6 and 7 end recently stopped taking Microgynon (July). Can’t fully remember date of my last period, me and hubby thought we would take a relaxed approach but I am becoming obsessed! I am due on my period any day now but not had a positive test 😩. Not sure if I will have ovulated after being on pill for so long.

@Darell04 I don't drink regardless even before ttc I drink decaf coffee one a day but it's very milky x

@Darell04 thanks!! Actually today I'm feeling really positive, I felt so sick and having loads of pressure on my womb and lower back, not painful but as if someone is sitting on me!! Lol

I drank wine with. Dinner over the weekend, apparently those things only affect the baby once the umbilical cord attaches at 6 weeks... But I'll refrain from drinking now I think lol
I'm still having my coffee but only one instead of my 2 or 3 double shot cappuccinos lol I actually don't feel for more than one anymore...

Hey @Darell04 still no AF! Gonna do a test tomorrow but wondering now if I am just late due to being on pill for so long prior to TTC. @Ellsbells112 hope you’re feeling ok- maybe test again in a few days? Xxx

I think my period is due on the 29th, ive been off contraception since march but this is the first month of trying properly and after a false positive last month we’ve tried properly this month! Think im 6/7 dpo but not sure when i can test - its all new to me! Got my fingers crossed for you all x

Hey did a test and squinted from all angles and defo a BFN 😩 @Ellsbells112 I’m impatient too haha! Even worse for me cos still no period so unsure if and when I am even ovulating !

@Ellsbells112 I have bought some one step ovulating strips in bulk from eBay so hoping this may help. I have got sore boobs n achy lower tummy at the mo so wondering if this means something? Xxx

@Chelsea987 it could mean something, everyone is different. I'm still not on, been really nauseated still. The pressure feeling isn't as bad as it was but my symptoms seem to pop up moreso in the afternoon. Give it time I'd say, you never know.
Last time I was preggars I knew I was but I got BFN! I was shocked but waited a couple of weeks and got a positive, so I'm pretty sure it's the same this time for myself x
When you say aches does it feel like your period is coming? X

Hi guys, mind if I join? First time posting here! My husband and I started TTC in July with OPK tests - I think I messed it up in July and AF made an arrival. I was gutted but we tried again (properly) this month and I got two days of tests where the lines weren’t as dark as the control line but were DEFINITELY stronger than other days. During the rest of my cycle I only get very faint lines. Anyway, we gave it a go as per the research I’d done and now we’re in our TWW. I think I ovulated later than my app told me I was (maybe by 1-2 days) so I’m currently 4DPO with 7 days to go until AF is meant to arrive. No symptoms yet - TMI but the only one so far is maybe a bit gassier than usual? 🙈 I did have cramps at 1DPO (Monday) but I’m thinking it might have actually been ovulation day.
I was diagnosed with endometriosis last year and had a laparoscopy in March where my consultant removed a cyst on my left ovary and got rid of the build up. I was put on the contraceptive pill to try to slow down the build up again and limit the pain associated with endo but came off in June when we decided to give TTC a go. My consultant has given me a 6 month time frame to get pregnant and if it doesn’t happen for us, I’ll be referred to a fertility clinic (& may have to have another op). Praying it doesn’t get to this stage!
Anyway, enough about me... have read all comments here and hoping that we have some BFPs this month between us! Fingers crossed!

Awwww sounds hopeful then @Ellsbells112! I have called my dr today to check when my contraceptive pill was last dispensed and it looks like my last period was around 8th July. Had the negative tests- just hope I’m ovulating cos was on the pill so long! The pains were like cramps. I didn’t have these with other two pregnancies or usually with period either!

Hi everyone! How are we all feeling? I stupidly did a cheap test yesterday which was BFN but probably still too early anyway. Will hold out now until AF. I keep feeling like I have symptoms but then I'm asking myself, is this just something I get every month without paying it much attention?! Pretty sure that's the case! Is anyone else doing this? Have felt really tired for no real reason but I think maybe I always do at this point in my cycle!

@Darell04 I am the same- don’t know if I am imagining things or if it’s things I always have but take no notice of! Awwww fingers crossed for you tho with the test- just leave it another few days xxx

Yep it's so frustrating I'm 9 days late and still getting negatives but I went to the doctor and she told me I could be super sensitive to pregnancy (which I am lol) and I may only be between 2-3 weeks pregnant, positive results on pregnancy tests USUALLY come up when you are 4-5 weeks so I'm probably too early to pick up the hormones yet. She said if nothing happens by next week she'll send me for a scan. I think though that if it doesn't come up tomorrow on a first response then it will come up end of next week.
I probably ovulated late and this am really early so there's some doc info for anyone curious xx

I totally have line eyes. I've spent so long peering at this that now any line that may or may not be there probably isn't valid. Can anyone else see a squinted? 😫

Has anyone else tested? Or have you had a positive yet, @ellsbells?! I got a BFN this morning and due tomorrow. Got all the symptoms that AF is on the way so guess I'm out this month. Feels like ages until the next attempt!

I’m feeling a bit disheartened - been having endo pains this morning and if this month is a no go I only have 4 months left of trying before being referred. Really don’t want to get to that stage 😭 Took a test this morning (posted my own thread) and I definitely have line eyes... it was a cheapie from Amazon. I am 9DPO today with 3-4 days until AF. Boobs are heavy which doesn’t usually happen before AF and the other night (7DPO) I felt a really strange bubbly feeling on my left side which I’ve never had before. But I do feel like I’m massively symptom spotting. My cycles are only 27-28 days so at least I don’t have much longer to wait I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi everyone I think il be testing in a few days. I’m due on 30th/31st I’m so scared to test incase it’s negative. I’ve had some pinky discharge today so that panicking me even more. I know if I did catch this month it’s not till really late on and a week since conception

Yayyyy @lostfrequencies it looks like a line to me- let us know if you take another test! I took another this morning and still a BFN- so annoying as I don’t even know I’m ovulating or not 😩 xxx

I did a FRER yesterday and not even a glint of a line. Have since read lots about those sainsburys tests and just blue dye tests in general so I'll steer clear. I'm due on any time now but my cycles are pretty irregular so I'm going to try and hold out until the weekend to use my other FRER.

AF is right on time for me today 😔

Looking at it as a positive... August wait is over so starting a new chance in September!
