sweetkitty - terrible, terrible day!!! I'm so glad I don't have any overnighters tonight, just feel like having a massive drink and curling up on the sofa. Roll on 6.30pm!!!! And maybe I can get dh to help me clear up after they've gone, he knows how bad the bleeding was (poor baby ended up covered in it as i dripped over her clothes and the cot sheet when i put her down for a nap) so hopefully he will want to help

At least the day has flown by and not really had time to think about whether or not I'm pg (even though I know I'm not!). Actually, I live in hope as I also don't feel like AF is coming either (although I might do in a few days )

Byeeeeeeee for now xx

looneytune · 17/09/2007 16:48

Well....all that bleeding from my finger set me off down below Well, I THINK it's too light to call AF atm but it always starts like this. So, first month after pill was 32 day cycle, 2nd month looks like 26 day cycle. Now I'm worried those blood tests were done on the wrong day

abbymeg · 17/09/2007 17:17

Looney - sorry about Af (If, indeed, it is her), and scary poos. Hope it all calms down for you and you get a restful evening.

Goingfor3 - CONGRATULATIONS

Bellie · 17/09/2007 17:18

what a day Looneytunes!!

hope it is not af

looneytune · 17/09/2007 18:19

Yes it was a truly awful day (can't go into the stuff about childminding but had some horrible sensitive issues to deal with) but at least the arrival of the evil witch means I can have lots of drink to numb the pain later And I'm happy as I'm finished early!!!

I'm pretty sure this IS the evil witch as it's not spotting, it's there but just light. What I don't know is what to call CD1? If I stay like this til tomorrow then get more tomorrow, does that make tomorrow CD1?

libralady · 17/09/2007 20:24

Sorry TEW has got you looneytune.
Huge congrats g43
I've kept off these threads for a few days as I'm in the middle of the 2WW and it seemed to ne going sooo slowly. Plus I've been busy sorting out DS's room. We have bought him new furniture with a high-rise bed. We've also changed his carpet and now his room looks like a real boy's room and not a nursery.
AND I've been sympton spotting. Bloated tummy, boobs are hurting and I do have a metalic taste in my mouth when I eat food. No nausea though. Stupidly I've just done a test - yes I know it's the wrong time of day and of course I got a BFN but I am only CD20 so there is still hope. I wasn't going to test until 2nd October (my birthday and our anniversary) but now I am not so sure. We are going on holiday on Saturday so think I will go prepared for all eventualities iyswim. If it's alright with you guys I'll add myself back onto the September thread just in case.

Hi Guys. my last posting was 21 August. I generally find it to depressing to post too often. I went on holidays on 28 August - club med with Kids Club! Verrryy relaxing!!! I can highly recommend it. Just before going I threw in my job. Two months before that I started seeing a naturopath (see an earlier post for details if interested) Anyway - Got my BFP yesterday So hopefully no.3 is on the way. I hope to see some of you on the May 08 thread!

goingfor3 · 18/09/2007 07:37

AussieSim congratulations!!!!!! This thread has taken a lucky turn!!!!

sweetbean · 18/09/2007 08:45

Hi all congrtulations auzziesim i hope to be joining you there as am going to test tomorrow !!!!

Im going to start a thread about this but also thought that i would ask you all this question.....

I know that it is best to test with the first wee of the day and that ideally you should leave at lest 6hrs between wee's if you want to get enough hormones in it but i wake up at 3ish desperate for a wee and then again at 6ish so (ramble ramble ramble) my question is, is it ok to collect a wee sample at 3am and then leave it and test it when i wake up ?????

I know that it sounds stupid to ask but do you think i would be ok or do the hormones "go off" or something
xxxx

looneytune · 18/09/2007 09:27

Don't know but fine to collect for ovulation tests

Must dash as off to childminder drop in but whoever updates the list next, can you remove me please as I'm now in the Oct thread.

Thanks

I cracked and tested this morning. Wished I hadn't - BFN . Still no period though - so I am trying to keep positive reading the stories of those that had a bfn later than I am testing!

Although I did cry a lot this morning - it just seems so unfair this time - no idea why more than other months, but I guess I am still very emotional as Sept last year was when I had my ectopic removed.

Sorry to ramble and congratulations AussieSim !!

sweetbean · 18/09/2007 13:41

Congrats to the BFP's (aussiesim and goingfor3)

Sweatbean- Will join in the testing tomorrow. Usually have a long cycle and was going to hold out and test on Friday, but can't resist the urge to test on Wed.

Rosiogs yeh ok hun i will be testing at about 6/6.30 am what about you ??

Bellie · 18/09/2007 14:47

good luck to both of you (and anyone else who is testing tomorrow!)

fairysnuff · 18/09/2007 16:47

The cycle bit on the list?
Is that the number of cycles you ahve been trying, cos in that case, I am only on cycle 1 because this is our first attempt. I thought it was the number of cycles you had had since you began counting, or something
I know what I mean, it is my 2nd cycle since I came off the pill, but that is not the point of it is it?
I was clearly very confused when I joined the list.

CD39 now, I am refusing to test until Friday.
We have guests coming up for DD's birthday so I would like to know by then.
But I am refusing to test, again, before then.
So disheartening to keep getting these BFN's and yet still have no AF

But, as you say "Its not over till the fat red lady starts singing"

rosiogs · 18/09/2007 20:32

Sweatbean- I will be testing about 7ish.That is if DS wakes at his usual time. Although he has a cold at the moment so has been waking at 6. Will tell you what the test says when I get into work around 8.30am. Fingers crossed.

Fairysnuff- I think the number of cycles is how many cycles you have been actively TTC. Well at least that is what mine is. You must be very patient to hold out til Friday

Hi all - am ging to move over to the October thread as af arrived today. Haven't been around for awhile so got to catch up on whats gone on. Noticed that a few people have started using the clearblue monitor or are thinking about getting one. Just used mine for the first month and I loved it - it is so easy to use and put my mind at rest - cos it was my first month and I am a doubter I also used BBT and OPK's and they all matched so definatly works. Helped reassure me that I am ovulating and also showed me that I don't actually ov until around day 18 - 4 days later than I thought so no wander I haven't been having much sucess!Ditching all the extra checks this cycle and just going to use the monitor. If you are the type of person to fork out for opk's every month the it would probably be worth investing in a monitor as cheaper in the long run. They have been on the 3for2 offer on boots website but not sure if that is still on, got mine of ebay brand new for half cost of boots but you have to be quick as they get snapped up.
Good luck t everyone still in the running for a BFP in september and congrats to all those who got theirs this month. x
