So on my first cycle of SMEP, some of you may already have been on threads with me 😊

I’m 6dpo today, over the past few days I’ve had lower back ache and a few cramps at about 1-3dpo. I’ve had no other symptoms and I know it’s still early to have anything. Anyway today I’ve felt quite heavy in my tummy and when I went toilet (sorry tmi warning) I’ve wiped and there’s been a tiny amount of red blood. Honestly it was like a pin prick but wiped over 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m not explaining properly!!

It’s gone now and there was none on the second wipe, I’ve put on a panty liner to see if it is continual but nope nothing!

Is this just spotting until AF arrives? I never spot before AF. Anyone have any advice?

@katie it’s all looking positive so just keep waiting. AF hasn’t arrived for you yet 🤞
My AF isn’t due until next week according to my apps but I’m irregular so not really sure

Just started to feel really odd pulling sensation in my low abdomen! Am I starting to overreact? I just want to know either way :(

@katie I think that our minds are powerful things and I also think if we want something so bad we start to believe in it. It could be something or it could be nothing, either way you won’t know until AF arrives or you get a positive test. I know how you’re feeling and it’s such a horrible time but hopefully you will get an answer either way soon

I know I know. It's just probably me trying to convince myself it is our month. Although, still no period-like cramping and quite a fair bit of white cm. I just wish there was ways to find out straight after possible conception lol

@katie it’s funny because I’ve said that on another thread lol there should be a really obvious sign of conception. I don’t think you’re convincing yourself I just think you’re hopeful and when the body plays tricks you can only wonder if it’s your time. You don’t know yet so still keeping holding on to that hope 🤞

Well I know I said I won’t test, but I did and it’s bfn now, but still no sign of af coming, no usual cramping etc.

@Katie1109 keep it together and just keep holding on until AF arrives or doesn’t 🤞🤞🤞

Hello! AF due today, normally I wake up and it’s there but no sign of it, no cramps either. Boobs still very sore but I had a bfn with cheap test using FMU. Don’t really know what’s going on. Going to buy first response today and test tomorrow if it does not arrive.

I also caved and tested yesterday and got bfn However, I woke up to deflated breast so I'm now guessing af is due in three days time, as it has done that last two cycles.

AF still hasn’t shown for either of you so you are still in with a chance.

My boobs are also less sore today so I’m assuming AF is on its way. I’ve been feeling quite sick after eating but I honestly just think all the signs I have this month there is a reason for so I’m going to try and not symptom spot and just wait for AF so I can just start cycle 2 of SMEP

Well it’s 12 o’clock and still no sign of af. Boobs still sore and terrible heartburn for the last hour or so. First response bought and will test tomorrow if af doesn’t arrive x

Still no af here, no cramps but I’ve got that feeling it will be with me first thing tomorrow morning :( x lower back is aching and quite a bit of white cm x

@Katie1109 you not out till af arrives. Stay strong. I remember the first few months while ttc were very hard. If it helps why don't you try doing/ planning on something positive to do when either af or bfp comes? I'm not sure what I will do this time, but doing something positive helps me deal with negativity in life. It don't have to be something big or something I need to do immediately. But it needs to be planned within 12hr of af starting.

I’ve got a feeling AF is coming for me over the next few days too. I’ve had very period like pains and now since I’ve been tracking I can defo tell it’s period. I just have the whole body period feeling and what I call the magnet feeling low in my pelvic area. It’s alright though I was expecting her this month as I used this as a trial and error month. The only reason I’ve been testing is because amazon sent me 40 instead of 40 opks!! 😂😂

Oh no, I really want at least one of us to get bfp. Actual I want all of us to get it, but a may baby sounds good to.

I'm feeling better now, my breast are less sore and feel smaller. I'm ready for af now. They had been giving me high hopes. Hope is good but so is adjusting oneself for reality.

Totally agree with you @very! It would be lovely if we all got BFPs but I’m glad you’re feeling better and ready for AF. I think once we get over the initial upset of her arrival we jump back in to battle mode and keep going don’t we.

I was thinking, to help me feel better, some people can be actively trying for a year before the fall pregnant and really that’s only 12 try’s so it doesn’t feel that long broken down like that and every manages a happy ending eventually we just have to wait for ours!

I think I’ve said before, I have a ds 7 and we’ve never been able to conceive since him but this was our first cycle really trying with tracking and all that so I’m putting it as try number 1. Hopefully we all get our BFPs soon and this will all be a distant memory. Until we try again 😉😂🤞🤞🤞🤞✨✨✨

So af arrived. Maybe next cycle. Just very grateful it didn't turn up late but on time

Morning ladies, so still no af here, 3 days late now and 30DPO. Used first response with FMU this morning and I think I can see a shadow but it can be anything (sorry did not have time to take photos). Boobs are still sore and no cramping at all, but I feel exhausted. I'm confused now, do not know what is going on, I have never been 3 days late in my life!

Sorry I have just realised what I wrote! I'm 30CD which makes it 17DPO for me. Normal cycle is always 27 days.

@Katie1109 you could still get a bfn for a few days anyway as most find out when a week late. Fingers crossed and keep us updated

@AllHopeAndNoResults I'm 18DPO today and still got BFN with first response on FMU. Boobs still sore and have a lower back pain. No sign of anything to do with af. I've ordered clearblue early detection for tomorrow

@Katie1109 are you certain of your ovulation date? I read somewhere that it takes some women longer to test positive. However, with my last ds I had completed skipped over a cycle before I got bfp. I had an early scan which took three weeks off, then at the 12 weeks scan it took another week off. I apparently was able to get bfp very early. So are you absolutely sure you ovulated, when you thought you did? If not I would still continue dtd just in case your body geard up to ovulate but didn't do it. Ps, by the time I got bfp I spent so much money on tests and was refusing to test. Dm asked if I could do a test for her. Which I did and was suprised to see bfp. Maybe that is what I should do again. Wait for someone to ask, before buying anymore test.

@Veryveryverylate yes, I'm certain, my ovulation pains are hard to miss, so I ovulated CD 12/13 and now I'm CD 31 and still no af and getting bfn :(
