Hey, so was a little flakey on August bus because this is so hard, but I like the support and folk with bfps give me hope.

Anyway, I am on cycle is seven now, period due first or second September. But will probably poas end of Aug because I turn into a sucker for punishment the week before.

How are you all doing? Will be happy and sorry to see familiar names back.

I also will disappear for days at a time, which doesn't mean I'm ignoring folk, but finding it too intense.

Love and luck

Would love to hear about this month's lovely distractions

Good luck

DulcetMoans · 07/09/2019 20:43

Sorry, I cant delete that now. What a weird introduction to myself. I'll try again.

Good luck with the patience @rain. I'm finding it hard this time too!

I haven't posted on here before but have lurked the last couple of days. happy to see the BFPs!

I'm trying for number two. Number one was not easy to conceive so not sure what to expect. But I'm in TWW and already finding it hard to stay sane!

Rainforestandshine · 07/09/2019 21:02

@DulcetMoans Well it’s good to hear from you. I’m new to Mumsnet - joined this week. I think it’s because I’ve been anxious about this cycle so I wanted to talk to people that could relate.

Where are you in your cycle? How long did it take you to conceive your first child? The mere fact that you did suggests that you can do it again. But I understand that insanity feeling. I can recognise that I’ve been quite obsessed about TTC this month. I definitely need to distract myself.

DulcetMoans · 07/09/2019 21:10

Thanks @rain - it's good to have somewhere to go and talk when you can't talk in RL.

I am due in 5 days so getting towards the end of the wait. First child took two years and two miscarriages so I know it might not be easy. I started again being really laid back and just thought we would see where it gets to but that lasted a week! 😂

LisaxMarie · 07/09/2019 21:43

Ahhh huge congratulations @flossy12 🎉

Ellsbells112 · 07/09/2019 23:41

Hey ladies

Hoping to join this thread! I am trying for number 2, 8 years later lol I am day 15 of my cycle now so just starting my 2ww.

I'm anxious already but trying to relax, DTD 3 times this week spread out every 3 days and had EWCM yesterday. I only ever get it one day in any month, I made sure to DTD that day and luckily we did it 2 days prior to the show of EWCM so I'm hopeful!!

Congrats to all the ladies who got there BFP!!

My AF would be due the 21st September so now to wait and see! Anyone else around the same time as me? X

Coastaldreamer · 08/09/2019 06:25

@flossy12

Hopefully no mistaking this morning's test!!!Yesterday vs today at the bottom. Sos if it's dark the stick was still wet when I took the pic lol.

Eeeek think I can finally join the May thread!

Still cramping on and off. Anyone else got this?

September bus
lornz · 08/09/2019 07:00

I've had mild on and off cramping since finding out on Monday. Nothing as bD as normal period pains but definitely feeling it :)

Congrats to @Coastaldreamer & @flossy12

Rainforestandshine · 08/09/2019 07:47

@Coastaldreamer That’s almost certainly a BFP. Congratulations Star.

@DulcetMoans Well done for not caving in. I used to be like that, but I’ve turned into a mad lady this cycle. I think it’s because I’ve been poorly for the past few days and so I’ve been laying in bed with nothing much to do. Idle hands, the devil, and all that!
I’ve had really bad back pains these past few days so I really must get up and about to exercise it. I blame last week’s Legs, Bums and Tums. Have you had any symptoms during your TWW?

Ellsbells112 · 08/09/2019 09:24

@Coastaldreamer congratulations!!

Coastaldreamer · 08/09/2019 09:41

Thanks for the reassurance @lornz

Congrats to you too! X

Tamalama · 08/09/2019 10:03

@flossy12 congratulations!!

flossy12 · 08/09/2019 10:03

@november90 eeekkk i know!! 😱😆 I am in disbelief! Can't believe it's happening in my tummy! We keep speaking to it though to try let it sink in ☺️ thank you sooo much!

@LisaxMar thank you sweetie!! ☺️💞

@Coastaldreamer yes!! 👏🏼

@lornz yeah I had some yesterday it worried me but think I'm just overthinking it as never been pregnant before

flossy12 · 08/09/2019 10:05

@Tamalama thank you sweetie xx

Sunshine8888 · 08/09/2019 11:14

Congrats @Coastaldreamer yes hop on over to the May thread 😊🎉👶🏼 X

Loulou922 · 08/09/2019 15:45

@Rainforestandshine my af is due Monday 16th so I'm thinking of testing on Friday. Its my birthday weekend and I'm going out Friday and Saturday so feel weird about drinking all night before I know. What's CFBM please? It's so weird not knowing. We aren't trying so it would be a complete accident but now I feel like I'd be dissapointed if it was negative. Do you feel like you have any symptoms?

NLouise123 · 08/09/2019 15:59

Huge congratulations @flossy12 and @Coastaldreamer!

I thought I had my BFP on Thursday with a own Sainsbury's test but a BPN with a clear blue digital yesterday has got my head in a spin!

I'm trying not to stress and wait a few more days till I even go near another test. Easier said than done!

Rainforestandshine · 08/09/2019 16:21

@Loulou922

CBFM = Clearblue Fertility Monitor. I don’t know all the abbreviations and acronyms either. I have to use a glossary sometimes.

I had a few ‘symptoms’ yesterday and the day before. They included a brief stitch on my left side, mild stomach pains, cold-like symptoms, and horrible lower back pains. Of course, they could all be anxiety-related.

I think you should test before the weekend as you want to be able to have a drink and enjoy your birthday weekend. Otherwise you’ll be anxious about it. But on the other hand, you may discover that you are pregnant – what better present could you receive? Smile Star.

flossy12 · 08/09/2019 17:49

@NLouise123 thank you so much ☺️💞

Been testing how we will change around DSS room to fit them both in already 😅

flossy12 · 08/09/2019 17:54

And so this makes it official! 😆 now to ring my GP tomorrow and get the ball rolling 👏🏼

sao81 · 08/09/2019 18:25

@flossy12 @november90 congratulations! I remember you both from other threada, so happy for you 💕💕

Coastaldreamer · 08/09/2019 19:04

@flossy12 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 woooop!! So exciting!!

So when you make the call do they then refer you to the hospital for the 12 week scan? My GP told me he'd call once he was back from leave as he's the one we have been seeing and then what, he'll refer us?

Are you getting any cramps ? Although my lines are getting darker my on and off cramps have continued, dunno if I am having a chemical :S

rosina38 · 08/09/2019 19:19

Ugh I'm sure I can feel AF coming. Feeling irritable and snappy and literally had to go and buy chocolate earlier Sad

Just want it to start now so I can move on to next month!

flossy12 · 08/09/2019 19:20

@sao81 thank you 💞

@Coastaldreamer yeah so on the May 2020 thread they've said that you ring GP and they can give you the number for a midwife to book you in for a initial appointment ☺️ then they will go through everything they need to and then book you in for your 12 week scan ☺️

flossy12 · 08/09/2019 19:26

@Coastaldreamer as for cramps I had them on and off too! Have you done a digital yet? I wouldn't worry yourself the couple of pregnancy apps I have got have said it's a normal symptom at this point!

Working tonight and not telling my work bestie is going to be so hard 😳😳
