Hi all! I’m new here! So excuse me if I’m not using the correct abbreviations 😂

I’ve had my nexplanon implant removed today in order to TTC #2!
I’ve never actively tried for a baby before as DD1 was conceived whilst on the pill! So I’m totally new to all of this and was wondering if anyone wanted to buddy up? I’m told my cycle should normalise straight away but I’ve not been without contraception since 16, I’m now 32 so not sure what my cycle looks like as nexplanon left me with no bleed at all and with the exception of having DD I’ve been on the implant for 6 years!

Any help/support would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, can I join as well :) we are currently ttc baby #2 what tests are the best to get? X

Pregnancy tests? I got loads of cheap first response ones from eBay for the first few months of trying, when I was obsessed with POAS! Grin
But then personal circumstances meant I wasn't as invested (made redundant and started new job) so decided not to test until I was overdue my period.
The month I found out I was pregnant I bought a 2 pack from a supermarket (I forget which) then when I got a positive went out and bought a digital weeks indicator one Smile

@SazCat thank you for replying. So sorry you were made redundant, hopefully you are enjoying your new job.
Yeah pregnancy tests. I bought a few clear blue tests when I was two days late last month and they were all negative. So annoying as I spent a fortune on them. Any way, I bought some cheap ones from ebay period is due on the 8th so a little while yet.

Thank you, it was for the best tbh - I love my job now and they were really accommodating for me to come back part time after my DD. I'm going to stick to cheapies too I think, at first at least - as you say the branded ones are so expensive!
