Hi all! I’m new here! So excuse me if I’m not using the correct abbreviations 😂

I’ve had my nexplanon implant removed today in order to TTC #2!
I’ve never actively tried for a baby before as DD1 was conceived whilst on the pill! So I’m totally new to all of this and was wondering if anyone wanted to buddy up? I’m told my cycle should normalise straight away but I’ve not been without contraception since 16, I’m now 32 so not sure what my cycle looks like as nexplanon left me with no bleed at all and with the exception of having DD I’ve been on the implant for 6 years!

Any help/support would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! I'm also TTC no.2! I wasn't really trying with no.1 so am kind of in the same situation. This is my 3rd cycle though so I'm getting to know all the tricks & lingo! Hopefully I can be of help to you?!
So is this counted as the first day of your cycle? Are you going to track ovulation or have you not thought that far ahead yet?
My period (AF) is due 29/30 June! X

Ps... first month of 'trying'. AF due two days ago, but I have some cycle variation. Not tracking ovulation yet, trying to be casual 🤣

@summeryet I was trying to be casual too (she says as doing OPKs & now tracking temp too!!)
When are you going to do a test? X

I stopped my pill on Friday and just waiting for this withdrawal bleed to get lost :)

@Cookiebear87 I also didn't try the first time round so this waiting is all new to me!

@mumof1hants I literally have no idea how to track my cycle don’t know whether to wait for AF to arrive and go from there? Although I guess I’ll be fertile before then? Who knows! I don’t really know how to go about any of this! Trying to be casual but kinda really wanna be pregnant like now

@Cookiebear87 if u download a period tracker like glow and input your data it will guess when your fertile period is. Basically have sex a lot then!! Obviously yours might not be accurate straight away... but will get better each month (if it takes that long) x

@mumof1hants no test required yet... expecting AF in the next day or so. Cycles vary from 28-32 days.

Hi I'm shortly having my Nexplanon implant removed to try for no 2. Got to have a doctors phone consultation first for some reason! Hopefully will be able to get it done in next couple of weeks though

DD is 26 months old, she took 7 months to conceive but that was after about 18 years on the pill so I'm hoping it might be quicker this time! I'm 38 though so age not really on my side

@SazCat how exciting! The doctor told me the bounce back with fertility should be immediate with nexplanon removal so hopefully this time should be much easier for you!
My DD is 4 this weekend! A much larger gap than we initially planned but it feels right!

#1 conceived within 5 weeks of coming of the pill.

This time however I've not been having withdrawal bleeds for 3 months. Now come off the pill and still no AF. Sending you all baby dust and hoping my body sorts itself out soon as I don't want a massive gap (DS 2 years old)

I am also TTC # 2!! I am currently on the TWW, it took me 18 months of using no protection to fall with my first 4 years ago. Me and my new partner have been trying for 8 months but this is our first month using an OPK, fingers crossed for us all!

Hello! I'm also ttc #2. Came off the mini pill in March and currently just tracking my cycles. They used to be 28 days like clockwork, but now they're a bit more varied, which makes predicting ovulation a bit trickier. I'm not temping or opking yet, also trying to be casual. Good luck to you all!

Welcome to the thread all of our new girlies! Can I ask what TWW means? I’m new to all of this!

I’ve decided I’m going to just DTD as much as possible this month and test after 4 weeks then test weekly if AF doesn’t make an appearance and go from there haha

DD1 is 3 in September, been ttc#2 for a while (let’s just leave it at that!). Currently in tww, AF due roughly end of the month (I regular cycles, that’s based on positive opk, but I had more than one surge this month so )
