Positive at 7dpo?!

Tried to post via the app but never showed, so trying again!

According to FF I am 7dpo, and while I wasnt going to test until Friday (just ordered a couple of FRERs) I decided to use a Superdrug one that I had bought ages ago.

And then it came up with a blazing positive. In four minutes (that's when I looked at it). At five minutes it still looked like the dye was running at the top and bottom, so is this potentially a flooded test? I am a completely novice and have no idea exactly what that means (dye runs?) so I want to make sure it is what it is before I potentially tell OH!

After 10 minutes the top and bottom dye smears have gone but the line is still there (3rd pic) ...

I no way you're 7dpo! More like a month and 7 days!!!

Could you have been pregnant and your last period just came anyway?

My mum had a "normal" period when she was pregnant with me. So it can happen.

Fingers crossed for you!

And me! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Alarae · 18/06/2019 20:26

Can't dispute this result! It looks like I must have ovulated on the first dip and because I haven't temped enough beforehand FF couldn't pick it up.

It's been a roller-coaster of a day! Thank you for guiding me through it.

Still in absolute shock. Didn't expect this to strike on the first go!

If I remember rightly, the clear blue digi doesn’t record from previous period in the same way that normal pregnancy dates do so you could actually be 5 weeks? I might be wrong though.

IceBearRocks · 18/06/2019 20:40

Whoop whoop!

Abi58 · 18/06/2019 20:41

Ahhhh congratulations!!!!! 💕

Alarae · 18/06/2019 21:00

I think you are right. It dates from conception, so should be another two weeks on top I imagine.

Extra photo for fun Smile

Yayyyyyyy! Congratulations. X

NoWordForFluffy · 18/06/2019 21:19

That second dip is implantation, rather than OV.

As for mini humans: milk / cuddles / sleep. You'll be fine!

Dec2019mumtobe · 18/06/2019 21:23

The clear blue digi calculate from conception not last missed period, so you're 4-5 weeks along OP x

Dec2019mumtobe · 18/06/2019 21:24

Oh derp - you already worked that one out 🙈🙈 sorry!

Congrats xxxx

Abi58 · 18/06/2019 21:47

Have you told your oh now?? 😁

Squiff70 · 18/06/2019 21:51

If the CB digital is saying you're further on than you thought you were, you may well be carrying twins. Speaking from experience here! Congratulations :)

spugzbunny · 18/06/2019 21:57

Congratulations!

I'd agree that by the looks of your graph you actually ovulated around day 14. You didn't temp enough before.

Treaclepie19 · 19/06/2019 10:20

Ohh congratulations!!!
