Positive at 7dpo?!

Tried to post via the app but never showed, so trying again!

According to FF I am 7dpo, and while I wasnt going to test until Friday (just ordered a couple of FRERs) I decided to use a Superdrug one that I had bought ages ago.

And then it came up with a blazing positive. In four minutes (that's when I looked at it). At five minutes it still looked like the dye was running at the top and bottom, so is this potentially a flooded test? I am a completely novice and have no idea exactly what that means (dye runs?) so I want to make sure it is what it is before I potentially tell OH!

After 10 minutes the top and bottom dye smears have gone but the line is still there (3rd pic) ...

@mummyjojo19 not until tomorrow as I literally ordered them on a whim today.

I am bursting to tell OH but I don't want to disappoint him if it turns out to be wrong somehow! Although I guess he could share my disappointment.

What would everyone suggest? Should I run out and buy a FRER or go for a digital?

With a line that strong a digital should detect and give a positive reading xxx

When my positive was that strong that fast it turned out that my previous period wasn't a period at all but implantation bleeding and I was 6 weeks pregnant. This may be the case for you. Keep us posted please.

Freaking out. Luckily live a couple of mins from the shops so I'm just going out to buy a FRER and a digital.

This is crazy. It's our first cycle and as you can see from the chart we didn't try very hard!

The first 3 days noted as a period were about five weeks after getting the implant removed. Surely that can't be implantation bleeding as it definitely soaked through a tampon at least?

Will keep you ladies updated.

@Alarae wow that's a strong positive, your chart looks like you're 7dpo but are you sure you did ov earlier?? Normally at 7 there's no levels as no implantation yet. Eek exciting! Keep us updated!

That's a crazy strong positive for 7dpo if it's real.

I would wonder if you actually ovulated on the 15th day with that stong a positive. How long are your cycles normally.

I have no idea on my cycles as its the first "cycle" I've had since coming off the implant on 5 April. First period (two days of med-light flow and one of light) in beginning of June.

I was on nexaplanon for about three and a half years and barely got periods. I honestly couldn't tell you what my cycles are.

Went to Boots and they were basically cleared out other than one lonely digital. So that's what I got! Now I'm freaking out that I have no wee left in me!

That is no way 7 DPO. You shouldn't even be able to get a positive until about 9 DPO on a HPT!

Congratulation OP! I wonder if your period in June was implantation bleeding and you have been pregnant for a while? Any symptoms?

Could u have ovulated day 14? I see u DTD twice around then... that would make u 18dpo? X

Absolutely zero symptoms from what I can remember. Maybe a bit emotional over the weekend but OH and I had an argument (we are fine- something silly).

Im thinking I must have ovulated earlier and the app just didn't pick it up. I've looked back at my chart and last period was 18-20 May. I can't remember experiencing any implantation bleeding though?

This is madness right now. Do you think waiting until 9pm will be a long enough hold to take the digital? The test I took earlier was just after 5pm.

You ladies are tempting me! I am so freaked out right now that I think I'll get stage fright trying to pee, haha.

I'll leave it 30 mins or so then give it a go. OH needs a shower so that's a good excuse to try and hold a bit longer...
