2 Week Wait Buddies?

I know there's millions of these 2ww threads active at the moment but wondered if there is anyone out there who is 1 day post ovulation today and wanted to wait it out with me ☺️ I feel bad jumping onto someone elses thread when they're quite a few days ahead of me!

Hi all, Im 13dpo and did a test this morning. It was negative but zero sign of AF.. I'll keep waiting.

Where's the best place to get pregnancy tests? I've been buying 2 from Superdrug for £3.99 I think.. any better anywhere else? Thanks!

I feel a bit down in the dumps this morning and not very hopeful! I know we’ve not been trying very long in the grand scheme of things but it can be hard to stay positive sometimes. It doesn’t help that I’m a pretty impatient person anyway, I always want everything now 😂 and DH has been working hard with uni stuff since we got back from honeymoon so we’ve not had much time to spend together (luckily we had a wedding my fertile week otherwise don’t think we’d have had a chance to DTD otherwise 😫) which has given me too much thinking time which has been getting me down a bit too!

How does everyone cope with the emotions of TTC? I play netball twice a week which I really enjoy which I’d have to give up whilst pregnant. I know I’d miss it and each month I get a BFN it means it’s another month I get to keep playing. Just trying to find little things to help with the disappointment!

@ttc19 I’ve read first response early result tests are best! They’re not cheap though (and be careful you pick up the early result ones as they have another version which is cheaper but not as sensitive!)

hey @wineorgin bit fed up today. 12dpo and another BFN on an with fmu. it’s cd 32. my cycles can be really long thoug upto 38 days so maybe i ovulated later. problem is didn’t dtd really after my predicted fertile window, we tired ourselves out lol. only thing that’s making me hopeful this month is my usual pre-af week of spotting hasn’tnstarted yet. i know i’m not out but i am deflated x

I have no symptoms whatsoever and believe me I've been looking!

@ttc19 you can get cheap pregnancy tests online. I got one-step ones from a website called homehealth. I think it was 5 for about £2. They are fairly sensitive I think but I'm not an early tester. If you want to test early (say ~10dpo) you should splash out on frer tests. I think they are much more expensive.
Remember we can always use AF as a free "negative" test ;)

Thanks @Pastnowfuture 💐 it’s nice to talk to people who are feeling the same! I worry that DH will think I’m crazy if I offload it all on him 😂 how many dpo are you? Some don’t get symptoms for a while so there’s hope! And on the bright side no symptoms also mean no AF symptoms!

I’ve had a few waves of nausea the past couple of days. It doesn’t last long, like maybe 15 minutes before going away. Also had some cramping this morning. But surely at 5dpo it’s way too early to feel anything and it’s my body playing tricks on me!!

Sorry to hear you’re feeling fed up @Yorkshiredolls this whole process is so mean, especially when you get taught when you’re younger that you pretty much only have to have sex once and you’ll get pregnant!

@Yorkshiredolls @MrsS147 hang in there! 🤞🏽❤️ normal for emotions to fluctuate...but try to stay hopefull and stress free! Stress takes its toll on the body so best to do all that you can to relax and keep calm 😊

Well 11dpo and here comes AF 😔

I think it is AF anyway. Have been getting cramp from about 3pm, just went to the toilet and when I wiped there was a bit of brown blood. I wasn't sure if 11dpo is too soon to be getting AF? The cramp feels period like so guess I'll just have to wait and see if it gets heavier.

I’ve being trying for 18 months now and I finally got my bfp yesterday morning! I can’t quite believe it my boobs are very tender and that’s been my main symptom! Good luck everyone

thanks for the support ladies. I know i’m being a bit daft writing myself off at 11dpo when i don’t even know that that prediction was correct anyway. I got my bfp with my DD at 10dpo first month and i didn’t expect it to be positive that time, I wasn’t really fussed, I took the test to rule it out for a girls night out but it ended up positive 😂 so I’ve never really had this agonising wait before

somethings cheered me up though, we’ve been getting our house ready to sell and the estate agent came round today to sign the contracts. It all happened a bit fast today wasn’t expecting him to do the photos and floor plans at the same time! good job The place was pretty spotless cos my cleaner came today. was rushing around like a mad ‘un hiding toys and potty and things in cupboards . hopefully we’ll be board up and on rightmove over the weekend

Thankyou DaniX91 I was starting to think I was never going to get it i had been to the hospital and I was due to have more fertility tests

Totally seperate issue but has taken my mind off the 2ww for today at least...ordered a dress from John Lewis for my bros wedding. Hermes sent me a email today (while I was at work) to say it had been sucessfully delivered. My husband was at work so I knew this wasn't accurate. They have a 'squiggle' and are claiming this is their proof of delivery and that I signed for it. WTF! Hermes will not communicate with me other than to say the parcel has been delivered. John Lewis have said they will take it up with Hermes but honestly I am so frustrated!

Just to update you all...I did a FR test today after yesterday BFP on a clear blue digital. I did it at 5pm even after drinking water all day and got a positive within less than 2 minutes!! I bought another pack of 2 tests again today 🙈 anybody else get a bit obsessed even after getting a bfp??

Also broke the news to my husband last night...he didn't quite believe me at first! But then we dtd again to celebrate 😂😂

That's so great about your BFP! Sounds like a clear result!

Has made me feel more positive too as I have exactly the symptoms you were having near the start of this thread, so may be in with a chance!! I'm trying unsuccessfully to ignore them
