Hi @becca3210 how far along are you now? I'm 16 weeks. Starting to show now. Feeling good but tired. I have loads of nights out/ weddings at the minute so it's strange not drinking lol

Aw yeh it is annoying not being able to drink at those kind of events! Is nice that can tell people now as the hiding not drinking was tricky! Am 14wks tomorrow. When is your next scan?

Hi ladies. So nice to hear you are both doing well and bumps coming along.

I had a tiny bleed last Sunday which left us petrified again, had a scan last Tuesday and was measuring about 6 weeks embryo but no heartbeat yet, thy said it was probably just still early (by my calculation I was only 5+4) but all looked as ok as it could be. Have a scan again this Tuesday so just keeping everything crossed for a sticky bean 😔

My next scan is the 24rd October. That will be my 20 week scan.

Can imagine that would be scary @Bumpingalong84 but glad the scan looked ok and hope next one does too. Are you going to find out what you are having @hopeful31. Mine is 11th Nov am impatient so looking forward to finding out!

Hi ladies. All went well thank you Smile saw our little bean with a nice flickering heartbeat which she showed us several times. The put me back to 6+2 (lmp puts me at 7+1) but that’s ok because I know I ovulated 4/5days later as was using

Also saw a haematoma which they said is resolving which probably caused the bleeding so that was a relief. So over all very positive day. And they are kind enough to scan me again at 10 weeks because of what happened last time 😊

Ah that's great news thanks for the update @bumpingalong84. Good you know the reason for the bleeding. Will be fun to have a surprise @hopeful31. I am too impatient though lol so will be finding out.

I wanted a surprise with my DD but my husband wore me down! And actually after finding out I loved it, was such an emotional day after knowing everything was ok at the 20wk scan to be told we were having a daughter. Lovely feeling. I can see the appeal of both ways but now second time round I can’t imagine not knowing.

Hi @GreyWolf good to hear from you. How are you doing? When is your baby due? Feeling generally good. Bit of nausea in mornings at times. Went to look round the maternity unit at my local hospital last night as there was an open day. I ended up needing to rest on one of the beds as felt dizzy and blood pressure was a bit low. Was very hot there. Bit embarrassing lol hopefully a one off!

Hopefully just a one-off @becca3210 - at least it's getting cooler now, which should help! 7 weeks until due date, all getting very real now Smile and trying to frantically tick stuff off the to-do list!

Hope the nausea doesn't last too long for you 🤞

Aww @GreyWolf so happy to hear that, really not long left! My DD came 4 weeks early and caught me off guard so defo advise being prepared early haha.

8weeks this weekend! Got my 12wk scan for the 12th November! A day after yours @becca3210 😬 big also have a scan on the 29th at just over 10wks, not long now till yours @hopeful31!

Wow that has come round quickly @GreyWolf hope the last few weeks are not too uncomfortable. That's great that all is well @Bumpingalong84 funny our scans are so close! Got my 16wk midwife appointment on Tuesday. Luckily no more dizziness and feeling good. Still waiting for the second trimester 'glow' etc!

Hope everyone is well. Midwife appointment went well today heard the heartbeat so that was nice. Had an extra blood test which wasn't expecting (not so nice!) as I have a neg blood type and they wanted to test and see if baby is the same/not so know whether I need the anti d injections. Hoping I don't as not good with needles!

Aww @becca3210 isn’t it just the loveliest sound. I have my daughters HB recorded on my phone from my 16wk appointment with her.

All good with me, no spotting for over two weeks now and not feeling too rough, just tiredness and feel icky if I don’t eat. Otherwise I seem to be growing already 🙈 by evening with the bloat I look huge. But guess it’s 3rd pregnancy. Got a scan two weeks today. Anxious but excited about it.

How have you been feeling otherwise?

Glad spotting has stopped @bumpingalong84. I feel very similar to you ok as long as eat regularly. Glad someone else understands the evening bloat! Asked a few friends and no one I know seemed to have it. Hope all is well @hopeful31 x

@becca3210 god the bloat is awful, so uncomfortable isn’t it. A friend of mine had it really badly last pregnancy too.

During earlier pregnancy I would struggle to have any trouser band over my tummy as was so tender. Bump still fluctuating in size a bit during day but not as uncomfortable which is good.

Yeah that’s the stage I’m at, can’t tolerate anything on my tummy and haven’t worn jeans for weeks, but I remember that bloat going down.

Glad you are feeling more comfortable. These last few weeks have flown by for me, 9wks today by scan 9+6 from lmp. Have a scan next Week at 10+2

Hope everyone is feeling ok and enjoying the weekend. My dad has been in hospital which was unexpected so haven't really been thinking about pregnancy. Luckily seems to be on the mend.
