@Keyboard91 I'm the opposite to you - I've gone from symptom spotting to basically having no symptoms at all. AF due weds and I've got my usual pre-AF insatiable hunger never satisfied no matter how much I eat so pretty sure I'm going to get AF on time on weds.

MrsEG · 28/04/2019 12:29

@LindyMoe Yep, cycle day 1 is the first day of your period starting, no matter how late. When AF is late it just means your luteal phase (from ovulation day to AF) has extended for whatever reason. Which is very frustrating I know!!

LikeTheFruit · 28/04/2019 12:46

@Jessikka @Hannah192 @Dollywilde sorry AF got you all!

I'm now onto 4th day of "spotting" gone from pink to brown CM (sorry TMI!!) bit still no AF! I'm now resorting to taking extreme action to get her to come. I've been to vigorous yoga class, taken another IC (bfn of course), changed bed sheets to white, ordered some FReRs from amazon.

Seriously considering putting my white jeans on for the rest of the day!!

Just want to get onto cycle 5 now. And I've got a cold too which is maki g me doubly grumpy!!

cupcakesandglitter · 28/04/2019 13:26

Sorry for the BFNs ❤️ onwards and upwards to the next cycle! Xx

@Tropicana1 same here with the hunger! I could eat EVERYTHING right now 😂 x

@Keyboard91 sounds like a good plan 😂😂 fx for next week! Xx

How's everyone's Sunday going? Xx

Fivebyfive2 · 28/04/2019 14:27

Sorry for tmi ladies, but I'm pretty sure I have some kind of uti/thrush thing going on! Will have to pop to the pharmacy tomorrow to ask for some advice, hopefully I won't need to go to my go or anything though. It will probably clear up just in time for af next week!! 🙁

Keyboard91 · 28/04/2019 14:42

@cupcakesandglitter thanks, not long till I can find out either way 🤞 I’ve not really moved from the sofa today ... and don’t plan to move this afternoon either. How is your Sunday going?

@Fivebyfive2 sorry, it’s not fun! Is it itchy or? I think TMI is out the window on this thread many pages ago ;)

@Tropicana1 sorry the symptoms have gone ... but you’re not out until AF shows. FX neither of us get AF on Weds 🤞

Fivebyfive2 · 28/04/2019 14:49

@keyboard91, yeah itchiness comes and goes, bit uncomfortable when I go the loo and some discharge, although I've just checked to see if it had a funny smell (are we sure that's not tmi?!) and it doesn't so assuming that's good at least?! I'm just drinking more and having little washes down there!

OP posts:
Tropicana1 · 28/04/2019 15:02

@Fivebyfive2 I've had thrush before after a holiday with lots of swimming. If you have a supermarket open you can get canisten pessaries and cream just from off the shelf normally if you're really uncomfortable and don't want to wait!

@cupcakesandglitter haha I am literally eating everything at the moment!
Thanks @Keyboard91 I'm feeling pretty resigned to AF coming and actually ok with it, like you said not out till I'm out but not feeling like this is my month!

Fivebyfive2 · 28/04/2019 15:06

@Tropicana1, I looked at the canniston duo stuff, but it says not to use if pregnant or trying to get pregnant?? Seems a bit ott but figured I'd leave it and see how I am tomorrow after drinking loads and having lots of washes! Xx

ValidUser · 28/04/2019 15:18

EWCM ahoy!

Opk not quite there but will be getting to it today!

KatBeCool · 28/04/2019 15:54

@Fivebyfive2 if you want faster relief, gp is the best way to go, most likely you need antibiotics. If it's uti, cranberry extract helps, but again, not right away.

@ValidUser woo! Happy sexy times!

@Tropicana1 I get increased hunger the day after I ovulate. DH doesn't believe it's real. I told him that I'm suffering from this "unreal" hunger more than from the real one. He thinks I'm full of it. He's lucky I don't sleep walk to the fridge.

cupcakesandglitter · 28/04/2019 16:36

@Fivebyfive2 I get UTIs super frequently (little bladder) and it's something the GP can only sort out with me (nitrofurantin) - pharmacies can't prescribe anything, they will have cranberry stuff which may help the pain a little but the course of antibiotics is best just to make sure it's fully cleared xx

@Keyboard91 mine's good thanks, spend it with my gorgeous nephew (rested up when DH was just lying with him watching football) but back on my own sofa ready to start Line of Duty season 4 😂😊 felt all day like AF is coming but nothing as of yet!! X

@Tropicana1 @KatBeCool it's definitely a thing!!!! As soon as those hormones kick in I'm ravenous! I can be sat with my stomach so full it feels like I could burst... and then a few minutes later I'll want to eat 😂 x

Interesting fact, my sister just walked in on me in the bathroom, and said that my pee stinks? I didn't smell anything (but I've had a blocked nose for like at least two weeks now) smelly pee? Is this a sign of anything? 😂😂😂

orangeloo · 28/04/2019 16:56

Hi guys, long time no speak been reading everyday though.

I'm 9dpo and spotting has started feel pretty low about it. I had my 21 day bloods back - I'm yet to see gp to discuss but of course I have googled and they seem normal. I don't know what is up with me and I was so hoping this could be the month

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekendsXx

Keyboard91 · 28/04/2019 18:26

Not having a good afternoon :( when we first got PG in January in ended up with insomnia. When we MC I assumed I’d get sleep back ... but I didn’t. I get maybe one full night (7hrs) a fortnight. Normally I average about 5 hours in total. It’s exhausting. Add in whatever my body is doing at the moment and I’m literally just a vegetable on the sofa who has to pee every 2 hours today. I teach GCSE and A-Level at a private school which means I’m teaching 6 days a week. And all the exams are happening in the next 7 weeks. So this is always the most exhausting term. Which I normally enjoy because it’s the final run for me and my students. But I’ve got nothing done work wise today which means I’m starting tomorrow already behind and will play catch up all week. And I’m just exhausted. And I’m emotional. Hormones are massively kicking my ass, whether this is a bfp or AF on Weds. Just need some good news, some sleep, or maybe an extra day a week to catch up on some things. Sorry to offload, just having a little wobble. I’ll be okay in a few hours after some comfort food and a nice warm shower.

Jessikka · 28/04/2019 19:10

@cupcakesandglitter have you drank enough? I think dehydration can affect the ammonia in the pee I think 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Keyboard91 sorry you're feeling rotten today! I can't function with no sleep so I can't imagine what going through it all the time does! 😫 have you thought of using ASMR? i do quite often as I sleepwalk terribly and it helps relax my brain and stops my brain being over active.

Some people laugh at it but it really helps my brain calm down and I live for it. I do fall asleep now to the sounds of people touching plastic makeup bags so my makeup routine is also really relaxing lol.

cupcakesandglitter · 28/04/2019 19:18

@Jessikka yeah!! I'm okay with water so zero idea 😂😩

@Keyboard91 sorry you're having such a shit time, and that you aren't sleeping properly. Just out of interest, are you taking any vitamins? I'm wondering whether it may be worth you perhaps getting a blood test done? Regardless of whether it's a BFP (fx) or AF, don't feel like you should accept little amounts of sleep, maybe you're super tired because of hormones or maybe lack of vitamin D or something? I don't know sorry, I'm not a GP but I just hope there's something that can be done xx

@ValidUser sorry I missed your EWCM post, what's your plan for the next few days? Are you SMEPing? Xx

MrsH497 · 28/04/2019 20:23

Hi ladies!!
Well my shifts are finally back to normal (thank god 80-90 hour set has gone!!) due in a couple of days got cramping right side and I'm not sure if my boobs are a bit heavy/tender.
Don't want the disappointment of a BFN.

Holiday in 7 days though!!!!
Xx

Jessikka · 28/04/2019 20:45

Umm can I ask a question that may be so stupid you facepalm? 🙈

Do you class cd1 as the first day you see red flow? or the first day you can fill a tampon/liner etc.

(TMI coming) ...I have a towel on and had produced less than a tspn of flow all day.

I've still marked that as cd1 light flow.

That's correct right? Red flow is cd1?

I'm sorry for the stupidity but before March my flow was heavy. Now they're lighter and it's thrown me off a little. The start of my flow was always incredibly obvious and now.. not so much.

🙄🙈

MrsPandigital · 28/04/2019 20:57

@keyboard91
You poor thing, you've been through a lot on your TTC journey! I'm also a teacher, and not that it'll help, but I often don't sleep well. As well as the demands of the job, my partner works shifts and I have to sleep alone a lot, I often "hear noises" and completely freak myself out and then can't sleep!

cupcakesandglitter · 28/04/2019 21:07

@MrsH497 ooh that's good!! Where are you off to? Xx

@Jessikka it depends for me how heavy it is I guess. From what you've described I'd mark it as light flow so CD1 is right - anything that's darker than red (ie brown) in that amount I class as my pre-AF spotting x

Jessikka · 28/04/2019 21:20

Thanks @cupcakesandglitter I know it sounded stupid but before this cycle and last my AF has started with two days of light spotting and then waking up with heavy flow. No mistakes! These last two have been so different it confused me slightly as I've never had to think about it 🤷🏼‍♀️

cupcakesandglitter · 28/04/2019 21:23

@Jessikka not stupid at all!! I know the feeling - best advice I can give is to note the changes down, so at least if you have another weird month you'll know 'what to expect' x

MrsH497 · 28/04/2019 21:26

Hey @cupcakesandglitter how you doing lovely? We are off to Florida - Disney time!! I cannot wait after the last 10 days I need a break.
Xx

cupcakesandglitter · 28/04/2019 21:31

@MrsH497 I'm good thankyou!! Had a bit of a cry earlier because I had a super painful cramp, but as soon as I stopped crying it had gone. DH doesn't know how to respond to me right now 😂 how're you feeling? Disneyland will be amaaaazing!!! Enjoy every second of it, it'll be a much needed break for you xx

McHelenz · 28/04/2019 21:41

Girls I've just come back from a 13 hour shift and I've had horrible reflux all day, so much so I've just had to be sick. 😔. I'm trying to be rational that this is just because I've eaten crap the last few days (cough weeks.)
