I desperately need some TTC buddies. We've just started trying for no.3 and we haven't told anyone. I'm bursting but with no one to talk to. I realise this makes me sound like a total sap

@MrsM18 I'm a total fruit loop at the min. My boobs are really sore that's something I'm definitely not imagining. I have more CM than usual (tmi sorry) and have felt a bit sicky from time to time. I could be imagining that though 😂 I had a bit of cramping today and a bit of a back ache but only time will tell I guess x

@MrsB899 it is always the longest tw of my life..every month, first part I start off all chilled and say I'm gonna be relaxed about it but come 5/6 dpo that's it full blown madness. Yer working is abit of a distraction although come break time I'm back on google looking for answers.
It's good to see that so many of us are feeling just as crazy as each other 😄

MrsM18 · 28/04/2019 18:43

@MrsB899 all sounds promising but I'm just as crazy as everyone else 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ when do you think you'll test?

MrsB899 · 28/04/2019 18:47

@dizzy85 definitely I'm glad I'm not the only nut case. I even wandered down the baby isle when I went shopping yesterday 😆
@MrsM18 I have some FRER coming weds/thurs I'm hoping they come weds then I'll test thurs morning. I hope they don't come thurs, I'm on a night shift and won't have a fmu as such

@MrsB899 omg I did this last week too I was in Sainsbury's and walked over to the baby clothes and had a look...They are so cute I cannot wait to start buying baby clothes!

Squiff70 · 28/04/2019 19:11

Must resist the baby clothes! We bought loads when I was pregnant and we've kept most of them :(

Squiff70 · 28/04/2019 19:12

@MrsB899 with FRERs you DON'T need FMU. You just need to go four hours without weeing or test after your longest sleep.

MrsB899 · 28/04/2019 19:15

@dizzy85 omg I'm so glad you said that I thought I was really losing it I really had to resist the urge to buy anything 😆
@Squiff70 ohhh really I'll def be Thursday then

@MrsB899 😂 the stuff ttc does to us, I've been tempted to buy stuff especially a few weeks back I was buying my OH a football shirt for his birthday and they had little tiny baby grows with his favourite team on it and it crossed my mind to get it but then I thought if I go home with that he's gonna think I'm insane for sure..if only he knew 😄

MrsB899 · 28/04/2019 21:27

@dizzy85 buy it and hide it so he doesn't know you've lost it 😆 I have a small collection of baby nappies and wipes I bought when my brothers baby was born and he never come to get them but I'm secretly pleased. My god I hope farting like a trooper is a pregnancy symptom my husband is absolutely disgusted 😂😂😡

Hello,
I'm searching for ways to stay positive when TTC with secondary infertility. So here I am sharing my story, after a tough weekend after yet another negative test, with people who understand.
We have been trying for 2 years 4 months and so far I've had 9 chlomid cycles, 3 of which were doubled up with letrozole. My last consultant appt outlined that due to my age (39) and medication so far I will receive 4 more cycles of ovulation stimulation (chlomid only this time, double dose) but after that it will all be finance dependent. It feels like my time is running out!
I know that one thing that effects conception is stress, this I am struggling to control. With counting days, 4 sets of tablets daily, fertility tablets on top of this, ovulation sticks. I feel like it's always on my mind and I struggle to relax or get away from it.
Does anyone else feel the same?

dizzy85 · 28/04/2019 22:02

@MrsB899 hahaha poor husband 😂 I have heard this to be a sign though so hopefully the farting might lead to something good! I am tempted to buy it and hide it 😄

Robbo93 · 28/04/2019 22:02

Ladies I have a box full on unisex baby clothes that I've brought in the sale.. I even brought a breast pump the other day cos it was £10 in a sale... & I've even looked into getting a travel system

Now you may think I'm mad, I'm TTC #1, but I like to be organised & unfortunately it's the baby clothes that make me broody 🤭

mynameisMrG · 28/04/2019 22:08

My goodness @Papercottage what a journey you have been on. It’s veey difficult trying to manage stress I find. Do you have any hobbies that keep your mind occupied or do you go in for meditation at all? I’m a quilter and I know when I’m feeling pressured and stress I can sit myself in front of my machine and for a good few hours my mind is only on sewing.

Papercottage · 28/04/2019 22:18

Hi @mynameisMrG I turn to jigsaws, mindful colouring or reading but have struggled to find the time lately, being a teacher takes over a lot of spare time at home. Quilting sounds interesting, maybe a fresh hobbies is needed to stay positive, thank you.

dizzy85 · 28/04/2019 22:21

@Robbo93 I'm trying for #1 too, the clothes definitely make me broody aswell they are just so tiny and cute.

dizzy85 · 28/04/2019 22:35

@Papercottage sorry to hear about your tough time ttc that must be hard, it does take it out of you and consume your mind, i was going to say the same as @mynameisMrG I've been trying to think of new hobbies to get into to distract me too, I think it's definitely a good idea to find time for stuff that makes you happy. I love jigsaw puzzles me and my OH used to sit for hours doing them together.

mynameisMrG · 28/04/2019 22:39

I found some interesting new hobbies by going to some evening classes at our local adult learning centre. They had a really wide variety of interests

Aberforthsgoat · 29/04/2019 07:06

well I’ve finally gone insane. I had a dream last night that Game of Thrones characters were helping me to read a squinter of a pregnancy test Grin
Send help.

MrsM18 · 29/04/2019 09:49

@Papercottage sorry to hear about that. I echo what the other ladies have said, it's so hard not to let it consume your life but new hobbies could help xx

MrsB899 · 29/04/2019 10:19

@Robbo93 I've been so tempted to buy clothes so I know where you're coming from
@Papercottage so sorry to hear you have been through such a tough time
@Aberforthsgoat I have been having weird dreams about pregnancy etc too
