Thought I'd start the April bus off since this is my first cycle since OD and April is my birth month so I'm praying for the best birthday present ever, our little miracle! 🙏🎁👶

Cycle 1 (since ovarian drilling)
AF/BFP due 16th April

Oh @Username28 the shiny nail google check has just made me spit my cuppa tea out 😂😂😂 it's totally lifted my mood. How crazy we all are atm when u pin point certain things like that 😂😂 I'm with u 🙄👍🏻🙈

It's taken ages for my body to get back on track since MC and so this is our first cycle of trying. I feel ridiculously optimistic but also like my optimism is setting me up for a fall.

Expelled all my energy googling absolutely everything to do with conception, implantation etc etc.

If I caught this cycle it would be somewhere between a Xmas day and a NYE baby and I'm absolutely on board with that as I love Chrimbo!

Morning Ladies, hope everyone is well today. I don't know why but I'm feeling really negative today that it hasn't worked for us. Only 3DPO (I think) and it's the not 100% knowing that's giving me doubts. I didn't get a definitive positive OPK and only using physical signs to guess when ovulation was. Needing a bit of a pick me up this morning, anyone else have trouble getting a positive OPK?

@MrsVict how many cycle days did you test for and when in the day?

I have quite strong ov pain about 4 days before a positive OPK but I still think my strongest indication is EWCM - did you track your CM at all?

@Frillyfarmer I tested;

CB cycle day 12 (negative)
13 (flashing smiley) 14 (flashing smiley) am & pm.
I then ran out of CB so used cheapy sticks and got faint line CD15 am & pm
CD16 am (slightly darker)
CD17 am&pm (same as CD16)
then CD18 was lighter and 19, 20 & 21 were definitely negative.

I had EWCM on days 16, 17 & 18. Creamy on 19 & 20 and nothing today.

My cramps started on day 15, started easing off and then strong again on day 18 then eased off and now no cramping.

I'm guessing I Ov'ed on day 18 but as this is my first cycle I just feel a bit lost and overwhelmed with it all.

AF had arrived. I feel like a hippo 🙈 and plonker for posting so soon again. next period predicted 5th May now so I suspect I am heading for the May boards....

Fertile window is over the bank hol weekend so thankgod DH is off.

Where are you buying your cheapie ov sticks? I usually guess by CM but I might try and track it

@Rubberyduck aw no, that's a shame! A fertile window over bank hol sounds good though, fingers crossed!

I buy mine on amazon, generally come the next day too!

I think I messed up how many dpo I am, If I ovulated on Thursday, then Friday would be 1 dpo putting me at 6 dpo today.

Not much in the way of symptom spotting today. A bit of pain on the left side of my pelvis, some slight stabbing pains in the right-middle earlier. Still got painful boobs.

Goodluck Eliza. The stabbing pains could be a good sign. When will you test?

Does anyone have any pre-fertile week prep tips? Anything thats meant to get me into tip top shape before the peak time??

@Rubberyduck I've heard to limit your caffeine intake that helps implantation. Best to wean off or cut down pre fertile window 😊👍🏻 that's all I have really.

They didn't go on very long

Based on a 28 day cycle, which I've just had between 2 clomid cycles, I think I can test next, not this, Friday.

I've got a cd21 blood test this Friday to see if I ovulated. I'm sure I did but you never know, they might even say I didn't.

It's so cruel that pg symptoms are the same as cycle symptoms ffs.

As for tips, I don't have any, just to try pre-seed or concieve plus and use it from 5 days before. And dtd plenty in the run up to O-day, so the sperm are there ready to meet the egg.

Sorry to hear that rubberduck! Let me know if you start a may bus as I'm definitely on it! Well unless I have one of these magical 28 day cycles everyone else seems to have 😂

I think I will try pre seed this month as I get very clear positive opks, but no ewcm? If anyone struggles to read strip tests if you havnt got glow already, you can take a picture in it tells you what it is which is helpful.

Also I never get a gradual positive on opks, it's usually semi decent, nothing, positive, nothing lol 🤷‍♀️

CD11 and just got my peak on clear blue opk. I’ve not used these before so was surprised that I skipped the high fertility flashing smiley and went straight to peak. Anyone have any experience with these tests?

So I got a positive OPK this morning, didn’t expect it so soon but yesterday my CM was egg white so I guess I’m just a bit early!

How is everyone else getting along?

Around 7-9 DPO and I saw a tiny bit of blood this morning. Fingers crossed for implantation blood. 🤞I impatiently took a cheap early response yesterday and got a BFN but I'm hoping that's just because I was too early.

I'm just resigned to no luck again this month, today.

I know I should be positive and I'm only 7dpo but I just feel like its not happened.

Please stay positive! You’ve definitely tested too early, try again early next week! Fingers crossed, you are definitely not out the race for this month!

@Eliza9919 just remember you're not out until the devil lady shows. I know how hard it is to stay positive, but put those thoughts down to hormones and keep your chin up. We're all in the same boat otherwise we wouldn't turn to talking to strangers.

I know. There is still hope, but I'm not getting my hopes up if you see what I mean.

@Rubberyduck Sorry to hear that! I have just tried to remain positive and keep being healthy. I am definitely limited the amount of alcohol I drink since TTC and I have heard t is best to cut back on caffeine too.

@ELJ1502 @Eliza9919 Good luck! Hope you get your BFP this morning. I usually calmer before my fertile week, start getting obsessed during the fertile week and then I go crazy with symptom spotting during the TWW. Last month I thought I had implantation bleeding but turns out I was wrong which was disappointing. I am going to try and remain calm this month but it easier said than done isn't it?
