So I'm going to say it I hate ttc, the scheduled sex the constant upset and pressure the fact that every one around me, my sister in law my two best friends are pregnant or worse have already had there babies and I haven't even had a hint of pregnancy. I want it so much and I feel like everyone else just winks at a man and it happens. I feel a complete failure and not much fun to be around I'm constantly breaking down. So yer I hate ttc I just want a baby to love x

@RobynC19 congratulations lovely :)

It took us 16 months to conceive #1. 4 cycles in to trying for #2. Had a CP in January. Everyone loves to tell you how quickly they fell pregnant.

I've got a laparoscopy scheduled in May if we don't get a bfp before then. Fingers crossed!

Chickenvindasaag · 13/03/2019 07:03

Utterly fucking hate it. Now month 4 with the shortest luteal phase in the world.

bunhead34 · 13/03/2019 08:35

@Chickenvindasaag I have a short luteal phase too I think, doctors don't seem to give a toss! 😤
Had a sploosh of red this morning when af isn't due for another week. What does that even mean?! It's not implantation, this happens all the time.

I feel like booking Friday off so I can sit at home and moap 😭

Hi ladies - i’ll join in on this one unfortunately, and glad there is a small space for us to have a little rant about it which in my view we can’t afford to do in real life!
My story: TTC for #1 since Sept 2018, with particularly painful last 6 months - early MC in Dec, impetigo in Feb, CP in April, DH had shingles shortly thereafter (so we skipped TTC this month) and now I’ve caught chickenpox..the stretch of events in the past months is just unreal. Someone may say impetigo/shingles/chickenpox are all unrelated to TTC, however neither me nor DH has ever had any such viral conditions previously, have been in great health, and suddenly all this comes in one go. It may be stress, it may be weakened immune system, it may be the result of/the case of the MCs..no idea..its just been a lot for us lately.
That being said I am not losing hope - waiting for my body to recover and will start TTC again. It’s very important to not let this become a burden for life and I know its not easy and may require certain amount of effort to bring back excitement to it, but I think we ought to do so for our own sanity.
Fingers crossed for good news for all of us in the coming months!

I am so sorry @RobynC19. I recently had a mmc after finally getting our bfp after 16 months ttc. Please be kind to yourself. It's been nearly a month since my miscarriage and I'm still up and down, things are definitely getting easier but it's tough at times. Sending love 💜 xx

chocapic · 30/04/2019 14:20

@RobynC19 - Please excuse me as I had not seen your last messages. I am really sorry for your loss. Please take good care of yourself - both mentally and physically and of your DH too. He will also be impacted by this undoubtedly.
We’ve had our bodies come with viruses after each of the MCs (related or not)..so really do take it easy and be kind to yourself! I hope you feel better and ready to try again soon! Xxx

RobynC19 · 30/04/2019 15:08

Hows everyone doing? Hope you are all ok, I'm still hating it. Just got another year older and 3rd wedding Anniversary coming up, still in the same boat 😣😣😣😣

Dweebette · 18/06/2019 21:34

I'm new to the thread but I too hate it. We're only 7 months in, 6 cycles, loooooong and not overly predictable cycles. I'm eating all the right things, cutting out everything you're supposed to, putting off booking big trips etc etc etc. Not a sniff of a BFP. Tested today as I'm 14 DPO (or not, who knows, stupid cycles) and another BFN despite feeling absolutely horrendous for the past 4 days (nausea, fatigue, the sorest boobs I can't even describe and just generally feeling "off"). I'm sick of the comments, I'm sick of everyone round me getting pregnant. The next person to tell me to "just relax and it'll happen naturally" should run away very very quickly. I'm sick of the whole thing. And I'm hurting, this is hard and it's supposed to be a great time in our lives and it's so stressful and I feel like a disappointment and a failure. That's my rant.

So conscious that we're still early on the process too, so much respect for all you ladies who are further down the road.
