Hi all
First timer poster and only found this forum today. I'm 35yo trying for our first. Super nervous as a number of close friends have been trying for years. Struggling to understand some abbreviations here.

I'm 13 days PO. I've had nausea and dull headache since 6 PO but took an early response test yesterday and it's negative. Also got what I think could be implantation bleed yesterday -light pink. I wish I had just waited another few days now as I'm really confused. Anyone have similar experience? Trying not to obsess but it's so hard!

S311 · 27/01/2019 13:44

I am trying to wait until Tuesday too if you want to wait together!!? I wish I hadn't tested yesterday. Either way if it's negative you have to assume it could still be positive so it doesn't change anything.

Ambs81 · 27/01/2019 15:10

Hey @s311
In my last pregnancy I had a negative at 12dpo, that was then positive at 15dpo, so it's def worth holding out and retesting.
Is this your first cycle trying?

S311 · 27/01/2019 16:58

Hey @Ambs81 - thanks for letting me know you were in the same boat at 12dpo Star - that helps! We've been trying since late last year but this is the first time I think I have symptoms and did some proper research.

I am going to wait until 16dpo which will take me to Wednesday.

Proudmummy88 · 27/01/2019 17:04

@S311 I tested yesterday too and got a bfn but I really don't feel af coming on at all. I'm working again tonight so have also decided to hold off until Tuesday. Fingers crossed for you m'lovely. X

ale2992 · 27/01/2019 21:03

Feeling broken tonight, thought myself and my OH were a million times stronger recently we've had a really really tough year and the MMC really seemed to bring us closer but the same old argument has exploded this weekend and I'm fed up

Ale2992 hope you're ok? Sorry to hear you and your dh have argued and that you feel so down. Thanks

S311 · 27/01/2019 21:36

@ale2992 sorry to hear that. Maybe call a friend for a proper chat, or go for a short walk to clear your head. Maybe the OH just needs to blow off some steam too. Is all very stressful at this time. Hope tomorrow is better for you.

ale2992 · 27/01/2019 22:15

@Aria2015 @S311 I'll be ok just thought we'd gotten past petty arguing and feel we've now taken a step back, he was amazing during my miscarriage really held me together x

Hello all!

New to this as well. TTC #1, MC in November. Due on on Saturday but took a Tesco pregnancy test today and got a tiny faint positive line. I'm trying my absolute hardest not to get hopes up and to resist the temptation to test again till I'm late. I'm pretty sure I feel premenstrual, not pregnant. Flat out exhausted though, but as I have CFS it's hard to tell if it's significantly more fatigue than usual!

At least it's only a few more days waiting for me!

mammaF16 · 28/01/2019 15:45

I am finding it so difficult not to test, 7dpo and just want to know. Feeling tired, awful headaches, lower backaches as well as bubbling sensation in lower abdomen. Dont want to think too much about it but also cant stop thinking so trying to keep busy!

Hope everyone else is doing well with the tww! :)

xx

Started feeling like AF is coming today. Cramps, sore boobs and back ache, hope not but we'll see.

And now I've had the tiniest amount of spotting 😩

OP posts:
Trinnidad · 28/01/2019 18:04

I caved because since yesterday afternoon I felt like I had a lot more saliva in my mouth and I keep swallowing, which is weird. BFN! Was wishful thinking as it's our anniversary today so we're away Thursday. AF due Weds. I usually just get a bit of a sore back the day before (I'm lucky). It it means I just have a long wait with no other signs until right when she shows up.

I used an Early Bird Swift mid-stream test - the only non-digi in the pharmacy. Anyone come across them? Couldn't find many reviews. Not doubting my BFN though! I'll stay on here till AF arrives and keep my fingers crossed for everyone!!xx

fabmaz · 28/01/2019 19:44

Fingers crossed for everyone.

I'm avoiding testing til the weekend but it's driving me crazy!!

Getting all these suspect symptoms but it could just be my body gearing up for AF at the weekend

mammaF16 · 28/01/2019 20:24

@fabmaz It is a relief to see you're feeling the same. I dont feel right but dont want to get my hopes up! Going to try and wait until friday to test and that would leave me at 12dpo so might still be too early!

Baby dust to everyone and fingers crossed for the outcome you want

So nice to read about others feeling the same

ale2992 · 28/01/2019 21:20

Just want answers either way! AF or BFP?!?!

Trinnidad · 28/01/2019 21:44

@ale2992 I feel your frustration! Annoyed that I cracked (13dpo today I think) W aisle I knew it was a no go really! But not necessarily for you - hang in there!
