February Bus?!

Hello all

Thought I'd start a February bus thread (sorry if there is one I've not seen). AF caught me off guard today after being 4 days late and hoping we'd caught lucky first time.

Statistics:
33, TTC 1, Cycle 2, CD 1

Came off the pill November so now I've had my first proper AF I think I may try OPKs this month.

AF will be die around Friday....your asking me to go a whole working week without peeing on something 😂 I don't think I'm ready for that type of change in behaviour 🙈 I know I should wait though, I'll try, but I'm not promising anything. Lol

I mean I one to talk I poas yesterday at only 9dpo. The temptation is real!
I'm having some cramps today so I think AF may be near rather than BFP.
Maybe try holding off til weds? We're very close together my AF is due Thursday/Friday so I guess we'll both be 🤞 to see what happens.

17 dpo and bfn.... my lp is usually only 12-13 days, I'm going crazy with this wait... Confused

Still in limbo here, driving me crazy as I'm sure I'm pregnant but just need that confirmation! I am now a week late and last time at this point I got a BFP so it should be any day now surely!

@mrscatmad31 glad it's not just me! Did this happen last time to you? With my DD I got a bfp on 12dpo so just hate this limbo, I can't think of anything else, it's such a waste of energy and time stressing over something I can't control Sad

As for me a clear BFN this morning. I'm pretty confident the previous test was an evap line now, so just going to see how it goes towards the end of the week now. I'm not going to stress about it though, I either am or I am not pregnant, not much I can do about it at this point lol. 🤷

@coachbombay I'm so tempted to poas I'm trying to take my mind off it. Sorry yours was a bfn but it ain't over yet 🙏.

iliana thank you, to be honest after 2 and a half years and a miscarriage, I'm used to BFN's far more than I am BFP's think I've become immune to the constant disappointment at this stage 😂 I don't feel remotely pregnant all, have no symptoms, nothing. So I think AF will arrive by Friday. Oh well always next month as they say.

Hi ladies I'm 26 TTC #1 for 3 years I'm on cycle 37 AF is 6 days late, I've had 3 BFN I've never been late with Af always like clockwork normally a 28 day cycle I'm now on day 34 fingers crossed 🤞 Ive finally got somewhere, but those tests are putting doubts In my head 😔

I know my sister had bfns until she was two weeks past af. Could you get a test at the drs?

@lilana that's always a positive! Nice to know I'm not the only one who has this problem! 😊 I want to arrange a test at doctors but I'm scared I'm gonna get another BFN and with it from a doctor will knock me so much especially after 3 years of trying x

@beki you're certainly not alone on this at all, even in the threads on here I've seen plenty of ladies who've had bfns well past AF due only for them to get bfps later on.
What brand tests have you taken?

Lazy yes when i got pregnant with my DD i was a week late before i got a BFP, i am now a week late but still no BFP!

@mrscatmad31 argh that must be so frustrating! Are your cycles usually regular? If you had this with DD it sounds like it’s still looking positive but bet you’re tearing your hair out

@liliana I’m the opposite - I like to live in hope/denial as long as possible by not POAS 😂

Hi everyone,

Can I join v late in the day. I keep meaning to and then forgetting. I'll have a catchup later but thought I should post before I lose the thread again!

TTC 2
Cycle 5 or 6 (can't remember!)

I wasn't going to join a bus this month as I don't think we had much of a chance and I've been super busy at work and DS wasn't sleeping. Im 2/3 through the TWW, AF due sat but since sun night I've had pink / brown spotting, I had this with DS but after my BFP. So of course now I'm hoping it's a sign! When I get AF it's normally horrible cramps and heavy straight away so I don't think it's just AF. Who knows?

Been away for a bit. 10/11 DPO with a BFN here. I've had 3 pregnancies before so know it might come in a couple of days but AF is also due Thursday or so and I'm just not feeling it this month tbh. I said I wouldn't let this TTC lark take control but it's so hard sometimes

Haha unicorn I know, I'm just putting them down to evaps if I'm honest. Tomorrow morning will see my last of cheapie tests used, then I'll just have to wait if no AF by Saturday I'll begrudgingly purchase a branded test, which is normally the witches que to arrive after I'm out of pocket £8 haha 😂

Well I truly believe I'm out. I'm going out tonight for some cocktails so I've taken a 10miu sensitive test on a 4 hour hold and it's stark white. No line whatsoever (not even a evaporation). So at 12dpo I'm pretty confident that's me done.

Oh well at least I can have some cocktails 😂. I'm getting to the point now where I don't give a fuck anymore, I literally just feel like I'm pissing money away on this.

I think me and DH are going to have to have the conversation surrounding if we give up on this. We've tried trying naturally, we've had Clomid all for nothing. After 2 years I honestly do believe it's time to throw in the towel on this and move on. We can't just keep wasting hundreds of pounds a month on this sadly. 😳

Oh well, what can a girl do 🤷

Just wanted to say sorry to those of you in limbo. It's so hard isn't it. I'm really irregular due to PCOS and it's so annoying when I'm waiting for AF and getting BFNs.

I'm still spotting but only when I wipe - this is exactly what I had when pregnant with DS but about 2 weeks later after I had a BFP. Just going to wait and see if it turns into AF and maybe test tomorrow

Ladies I'm proud of myself today...I did not POAS 😂 but then I'm 100% convinced I'm out and refuse to spend any more money indulging it. So just waiting for AF to arrive now at the end of the week.
