@MollyFaith00 my husband believed it finally after seeing the digital one. N now he's fussing all over me, he went shopping for healthy food and everything lol

Evug1234 · 09/01/2019 13:30

Congratulations @knobjockey..... if you don't mind me asking what is your age and did you take any supplements?..... Because I am nearly 40 and have been trying for 2 years but nothingConfused

LillianFullStop · 09/01/2019 13:54

Congrats @knobjockey (can’t help laughing typing out your username)!!

Meanwhile I’ve just bought buy one get second half price Superdrug PG tests... tell me not to test at 6dpo!

KnobJockey · 09/01/2019 13:59

@Evug1234 I'm 33- I started young with my daughter! I haven't taken anything, although I should probably start with some folic acid now I suppose. I'm sorry it's been hard for you- we had to get to the stage where I stopped thinking about it at all, and not be on the threads, as it is very hard not to be too caught up in it, which was making it much worse. I didn't even realise I was due my period on Monday to be honest, I thought I had another week as I haven't been on my app since I logged my December period.

KnobJockey · 09/01/2019 14:01

@LillianFullStop thank you! Don't throw your money away just yet, it will be negative and you'll only feel down and test again anyway.

I think I'm going to head to the shop and get a word one on the way home, anyone know where they're the cheapest? I think it will make it a bit more believable for DP, this will be his first child and he's desperate for it to happen.

Pinkelephant12 · 09/01/2019 14:06

I just POAS at 6DPO obviously it was a BFN which I knew but I feel like I’ve got it out of my system. TTC is making me crazy!!

Evug1234 · 09/01/2019 14:44

Thanks @knobjockey for replying.... Even I had 2 kids quiet early..... I think not caring about TTC is the best strategy....My only worry is that I will be 40 in 5 months and that doesn't make things easier

AttiBones · 09/01/2019 15:00

@Pinkelephant12 don't worry, you're not alone!

MyBreadIsEggy · 09/01/2019 17:06

Still got mega sore boobs, have had a couple of waves of nausea today and feel totally wiped out like I could sleep for a week. AF due Saturday, so trying to control myself and hold out to POAS at the weekend Hmm

PippyVibes · 09/01/2019 17:23

So I'm not sure if the food in my fridge is off (xmas leftovers) or this could be a symptom...? Tried to eat Brie & chutney on a cracker and it tasted awful then ate some yogurt to take the taste away and it was super sour today and it wasn't yesterday? Any ideas? Super saw boobs today too! I'm 8dop and going to wait till Saturday to poas as I always wait till the weekend because I'm not sure I could concentrate at work with a bfp freak out?!?

MyBreadIsEggy · 10/01/2019 11:06

My tests arrived this morning and I got a negative result. Period still not due for a few days though, so I’ll retest every day until either a period comes or I run out of tests!

LillianFullStop · 10/01/2019 11:14

@Pinkelephant12 i POAS at 6dpo too so obv BFN... Blush

It’s not over yet @MyBreadIsEggy! By the way I think I remember you from the boards from a couple of years ago. That name is quite memorable lol

MyBreadIsEggy · 10/01/2019 11:26

Lillian I was on a due date buddy thread when pregnant with DS (Born October 2016) Smile

LillianFullStop · 10/01/2019 12:42

Sounds about right my DD is Oct 2016 too! Nice to see you here again maybe we will be due date buddies again lol

MyBreadIsEggy · 10/01/2019 12:44

Lillian my DS was in a rush! Wasn’t due until mid-November!

becca3210 · 11/01/2019 08:34

Am enjoying reading this thread. 11DPO (or there abouts!) today so took a FRER - negative :( Had a few weird stitches on Wednesday so if that was implantation (wishful thinking perhaps!) then I guess I might need to wait longer... this waiting game is hard! Most I have had symptom wise is a few light stomach and back pains and stitches so not much and could just be PMT stuff. Guess wait to see if AF comes on Sunday or not. Good luck everybody!

Pinkelephant12 · 11/01/2019 09:29

I ordered some frer late last night fully knowing they won’t come until Saturday. Hopefully that will make me wait until at least Sunday to test

AttiBones · 11/01/2019 11:08

How's everyone doing symptom wise? I'm now 8dpo and been really tired the last few days and a bit light headed, last night I started feeling a bit queasy, and keep getting lots of excess saliva. This is still happening today and also getting mild cramps. Keep thinking it might be AF, but not due for another 7 days and I am like clockwork normally! Stupidly did a digital test last night and very firm bfn. How long do you think I should wait to test again?

MyBreadIsEggy · 11/01/2019 13:43

I’m 13dpo.
Got another negative this morning.
But my boobs are genuinely enormous. Today I’m wearing a bra that has been too big ever since I stopped breastfeeding DS 20 months ago! I’ll do more tests over the weekend if AF doesn’t pay me a visit

Lisaawilson · 11/01/2019 14:26

Hi!! Just wondering how all the lovely ladies who had their BFPs this month are getting on?? Since my positive on Monday my line has gotten so dark which is reassuring! However I'm so worried about miscarriage especially after my friend who was due to have her 12 weeks scan in 4 days miscarried last night :( is anyone else like this or should I just try be positive?! Xx

@Lisaawilson it's always going to be a worry. I had an MMC in November, so extremely nervous this time around. But I've given myself a talking to and decided I'm not going to let fear rob me of this experience, if it goes wrong it'll be devastating whether I spend my time being pessimistic or optimistic. I am still checking BBT, Hr and testing everyday, but keeping the positive mindset is keeping me sane. Like yours my tests are now super dark. I'm going to stop with the tests from tomorrow, but in the first few days looking at those tests really helped me. I'm also going to have an early scan, it's not the right choice for everybody, but I think it will help me relax a little. Basically embrace the fact that your pregnant and do what you need to do to stay sane. X

@MyBreadIsEggy all the signs seem promising 🤞 lots of people don't get their BFP until after 14dpo.

MyBreadIsEggy · 11/01/2019 15:13

Gemma I didn’t get any sign of a BFP with my two DCs until my period was a week late! So I’m not losing heart yet

MyBreadIsEggy · 11/01/2019 16:04

So this just happened

The dreaded 2ww
LillianFullStop · 11/01/2019 16:15

@becca3210 I’ve been getting the stitches too similar to stretching pains during first trimester.

@mybreadiseggy 12dpo is still early so AF may just stay away!

@Lisaawilson it’s normal to be a little worried esp first trimester - every stage has its worries but the first trimester I found the most emotional. It will get easier the more you progress and you will let yourself relax and enjoy Smile.

Lisaawilson · 11/01/2019 16:33

@MyBreadIsEggy omg that is defo a line!! Congrats💕

LillianFullStop thanks alot for the advice! Going to try and enjoy the experience!

@GemmaJen awh thanks!! You are right and we don't have control so we just I have to enjoy the whole experience 💕
