This is our fourth month TTC baby number 2. Would love a bfp result just before Christmas :) of course unlikely, but here's to hoping!! My fertile few days starts tomorrow .. and then the dreaded two week wait from next week. If anyone would like to go through this month's journey, ups and downs, it would be nice to have some company. And some TTC top tips and advice for the 2ww. I felt very down after my last negative result in November. Good luck to anyone in the same boat . Let's hope for an extra special Xmas surprise.

Hi all, please can I join.

Im 28 and officially TTC from this month and enjoying DTD every other day (since my last period finished, because well why not! ). Currently on CD 10 and flo is telling me im in my fertile period and there is a “chance to get pregnant” as of today predicting O day on Saturday. however, clue tells me not in my fertile window until saturday and O day on Monday. So just going to keep going and see what happens. Unfortunately, we’re away with family this weekend so that may (will) prohibit any baby making chances I think!
AF/BFP due on christmas day. So will either be a happy christmas or a crappy christmas.

Fingers crossed it all happens easily for all of us, no reason to think not! Positive baby dust for you all! So exciting!

@Mammy32 last P was on 21st October and I'm usually 28 or 29 day cycle. I need to get better at tracking

@90mammasophie- so your period would be due 18th/19th. So count back 12-16 days from your predicted period, then these are your most fertile days. So most fertile 3rd til 7th? So have sex lots during this time.
4 months is still completely normal to be trying, so don't need to get too worried about temping or ovulation kits if you don't want. I find temps really useful for me as irregular cycle. Fertility friend is good at explaining how and when to measure temp.

This is our first month TTC #1 (eek!).

I just turned 31 in November and decided it was time to get started.

I have a history of OCD, so have decided not to go down the OPK/temping route for at least the first few months, because I know I would take it all too far and let it take over my life.

So far we've just DTD every other day since the end of my period. DH seems... ahem... appreciative!

I'm in the middle of my cycle now, and I keep thinking, could today be the day...

We're heading off to Europe Xmas markets in the morning, hoping it will distract me from poas. I've brought one hpt with me, but gotta hold out till Sunday when it'll be 10dpo. Wish me luck!

In regards to ovulation prediction dates. I've been following mine on the Flo app and fertility friend. But when I started using ovulation strips, I learnt I actually ovulated 6 days earlier than I thought, thus not always covering my fertile window.

Not everyone ovulates at the predicted time. Buy some cheap strips online.

I tested at 11am and 5pm each starting from when my period finished.

@Manycatsandallthegin luckily I'm not a big drinker, but I won't say no to the odd tiple or two prior to a bfp. Though I'll admit I'm going for the hot chocolate and not the mullled wine, not a fan, lol. Ruining perfectly good wine by making it warm

@GemmaJen good luck hun -hot cider is much is the way forward - it's much nicer eventho I'm not a cider fan when it's hot on a cold day it's amazing!! Xx

Think I've calculated my dates all wrong. Thought I was 7 days after ovulation, with temperatures and opks, but started bleeding this morning.
Don't want to get hopes up thinking its implantation. Think it's just AF earlier than I thought. Good luck everyone else,

Hi all, I have come to join if that's ok. This is month 4 of trying for our second.
I tried the ovulation sticks for one month but drove myself to absolute distraction with it all, so trying to be a bit more relaxed this month.
Odd scenario tonight- DDT and noticed afterward light pink spotting. Tres weird. AF not due for another 8 days. Worrying. Would love to convince myself it's implantation bleeding (is that even possible?) but I daren't.
Anyway, sending lots of positive vibes to you all.

@whoatemytwix welcome! Fx for implantation, you never know, when do you think you'll test?

I managed to hold out till today, sadly bfn. Though if I look closely I can almost convince myself there's something there, in the right light at the right angle! probably an indent, but a girl can dream still only 10dpo so fx something appears.

Been temping and yesterday my temp changed my FF info to 3 DPO. Now this morning it's recalculated again and put me at 6DPO??

I wonder if I'll change again tomorrow

@GemmaJen thank you. I don't know when I can test- I've always waited to the day AF was due before now.... in my lengthy four months of experience in this TTC game (first DC was conceived straight away). I'm so ignorant about it all it's embarrassing.

I find stats help me from over thinking things

Hi everyone
Hope you all are doing okay. I am crossing my fingers that we DTD on the right days etc but who knows. Had a positive OPK on 5th and have tested on OPKs every day since because last month I had a second surge and missed it. But negative / completely clear ever since so fingers crossed. Planning to test on 20th Dec if all goes well. This cycle is exactly a year since I got pregnant but then miscarried in January. It would be amazing to get good news. X

How's everyone getting on? New week more chances

Hi this is our first month properly TTC. Im hoping I'll kvykare tomorrow as got a positive opk late last nighr/early this morning. We dtd thur Sunday and tonight luckily so hoping that I'm covered as don't think will get another chance. Never been in this position before. Guessing I'll try a first response test on maybe 20th!?

I have written myself off for this month. I don't think we DTD at the right time. I don't even know if / when I ovulated. Next month I'll be more organised with the ov strips.
Feeling a bit fed up. Other half is on a mini-holiday with friends in Spain & I'm sat here like a lemon.

Mamma, for you, it's a total mind game isn't it. Why have you written it off for this month? I'm feeling low in hope too, I must admit. Aside from just not feeling any different to any other month I have had so many unavoidable social events and have drank much more than I usually would- just 1-2 glasses here and there but it feels like a significant lot for me (so old an dull I have become...!)
