Hello all,

I had a quick scan through but couldn't see any active ish threads. Just wanting to get a discussion going so we can help, cast eyes over your charts and offer advice.

I started charting 3 months a go and love it, knowing that morning my period will arrive as opposed to staring at BFN certainly is less disheartening and makes me feel more in control.

We have a MMC in May trying for baby no1 and I have a D&C cycles pretty much returned to normal however now I get the most hideous painful boobs now about a week before AF which I never had before.

Anyway, my chart this month has a huge dip 5dpo and a huge spike today 6dpo, have been having what feels like UTI symptoms but doctor said all is fine. Here is a pic of my chart

Can the ladies with BFP just show their charts? So we can have a reference point for future readers? X

Told DH no baby this month. He then asked when we should go and see someone. He is willing to pay private. He just doesn't want to waste any time if there is a problem. Although I agree with him, we did conceive in March, first month. Boom there it was. I just feel so cheated and that I'm letting him down.

Not the greatest way to start the week.

Morning snowflake

Please don’t be too disheartened that your temp has dropped as that’s exactly what mine did then went back up the day after.

I wouldn’t rush to go private as you conceived first month so you’re obviously both very fertile!

Hope you’re ok x

That's not too big a drop @Snowflake9 , fingers crossed it goes back up tomorrow. Like you say though you did it first time last time so I wouldn't panic yet.
I got a massive temp drop today so I really think that's it, bang on the day I am due on.
Going to get some conceive plus for next cycle. I wanted to give do zinc supplements as they help his swimmers but then I found out he can take it with his medication.

Just not feeling it this month now. Could be a blessing. God's way of saying enjoy your holiday in the Bahamas and have a cocktail!!

I really appreciate you all, it has made this 2ww much easier. X

Did you AF arrive @daisypod?

OP posts:
Daisypod · 19/11/2018 20:39

Nope no sign! Just want it to come now so i can get on with the next cycle. How are you doing now @snowflake9

Snowflake9 · 19/11/2018 21:37

Well I want to eat EVERYTHING although I have felt nauseous and dizzy most of the day.

Hopefully your AF will start soon for you or it stays away long enough :) xx

Here's mine. I used conceive plus on a few occasions this month and followed SMEP apart from the final day for good luck. Also kept legs in the air after dtd for around 10 mins.

Can anyone help me interpret my chart? FF thinks I ovulated on cd11 which is incredibly early for me! I have 31 day cycles so surprised that it has come up that I’ve ovulated! Do you think this will adjust? I’m confused!

Hi Chanel! Welcome to the thread.

From looking at your chart I would say even FF isn't sure. I would keep doing your OPK's and wait for FF to adjust. Are you taking temps at same time each morning?

Giraffe888 · 20/11/2018 20:19

@snowflake9 I’m sorry it looks like AF is coming. Definitely enjoy your holiday and fingers crossed for a holiday baby!!! X

Chanel05 · 21/11/2018 06:52

Thank you @Snowflake9. I got my static smiley today so FF has decided that I hadn’t ovulated after all!

Snowflake9 · 21/11/2018 07:43

Oh that's good news! Decided we are going to try the SMEP Plan next cycle.

I also realised I inputted a temp wrong the other day. Write it in notes on my phone then put it in FF. So here is my chart. Still having BFN's as of yesterday and AF will arrive today as all I wanted to do yesterday was eat and shout at people haha!! but just to show that dips don't necessarily mean pregnancy.

So super happy though that we got 2 BFP on this post !! Fingers crossed for us going into our next xx

@snowflake9 I really do wish you all the luck in the world with your next cycle and hope your holiday brings you some success! TTC is such a difficult and draining task and staying positive is so difficult xx

LittleLemur · 21/11/2018 21:37

Hello, I'm so sorry to jump in! I'm just starting temping and OPKs this month and I was wondering if you ladies had any advice?

I can see from your pictures that you are all using Fertility Friend - would you say this is the best app for tracking? I've downloaded Fertility Friend ready, but also Ovia.

Thank you in advance!

Snowflake9 · 21/11/2018 22:58

Thank you @giraffe888 she came this evening. Feeling hopeful for next month !!! X

OP posts:
Snowflake9 · 21/11/2018 23:00

Welcome @littlelemur! Fertility friend is easiest for charting.

My advice would be make sure it's consistent. Same time, same position. Other than that, it's all pretty straight forward. Any questions do ask! :) I'll be here for the next month or so :) hahaha xx

Giraffe888 · 22/11/2018 08:26

@snowflake9 fingers crossed for next month and I hope you have a lovely holiday x

Snowflake9 · 22/11/2018 17:33

Thank you lovely !!! Hope your have a sick free first trimester xxx

LittleLemur · 22/11/2018 18:35

@Snowflake9 thank you for your tips! I suppose it's mostly going to be trial and error for the first month. I'm already starting temping late (CD 5) because my thermometer only arrived today, so we'll see how it goes! Grin

Are OPKs still to be done with FMU or a different time of day to pregnancy tests?

Snowflake9 · 22/11/2018 19:53

No problem at all! I only started a few months ago and I find it's really good at planning when AF will arrive as I'm not always regular. And I can see I have a healthy luteal phase too.

OPK's I read are best not with FMU. I tend to do mine at lunch time or dinner time. Xxx

LittleLemur · 22/11/2018 22:08

@Snowflake9 that does sound good - I like the idea of being more tune with my cycle. Thanks again for your advice!

When is it you're you off on holiday? Smile
