I meant now! Not not!

Queenofmyownheart · 11/12/2018 18:04

Been quiet, been stressed out with somethings. Bought OPKs last month. No idea where I put them. Haven't had much time to even think about it. Coincidentally DTD on ovulation day according to my app 😂 hoping to get a few more in. I'll read back now and see what everyone's been up to ☺️

Syncope · 11/12/2018 18:44

Hello all - joined this thread ages ages then forgot to come back to it!

@PaintingOwls sorry you're out this month - good luck for the next one.

@mrss2018 that's great news that you can crack on with TTC. Fingers crossed for you!

So AF is due today for me... no sign yet. Occasionally slightly crampy twinges but not the usual cramps I get when AF is on its way, and otherwise no sign. Not getting my hopes up yet as my cycle has only settled into a regular length the last 2 or 3 months, having been pretty peculiar after coming off the pill, but still... Grin

stroan · 11/12/2018 20:58

So sorry that AF has come for some of you. Fingers crossed for January.

Still waiting for ovulation here, loads of EWCM today though so fingers crossed it happens before the weekend at my parents 🙈

Wishful30 · 12/12/2018 06:01

@mrss2018 great news! Glad to hear everything is ok for you. 😊
Good luck with your ttc journey x

Needadoughnut · 12/12/2018 06:43

And AF arrived right before midnight!

MrsLBear · 12/12/2018 10:05

@goldflakepaint that's amazing that you don't poas unnecessarily cos it's an expensive habit to uphold. I really try not to but if I'm off work and at home it's just too tempting.
Since I last spoke we have had a few moments where the pressure really got to my DH so I've really had to take the foot off the pedal. I think the pressure has got to him as he thinks it's down to him to give me a baby and I stupidly went on about how much I want one moments before not thinking about the affects it's having on him. So I'm gonna finish doing my OPKs this cycle as I still haven't got a static smiley yet and I'm CD17 and I will continue to temp cos again I've never had a solid month where they make sense so I'm almost making it a personal goal (sad I know) but other than that we are just gonna literally carry on as we did before when we was using condoms.
How long are your cycles?
I have read somewhere that sometimes you can get ewcm later on in your cycle (and this can be a good sign or just something that happens) not to be really bloody unhelpful! But I've literally googled every single possible symptom. I've never been able to check my cervix! That's so good you can do that. Not sure where I'm looking 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

MrsLBear · 12/12/2018 10:06

Sorry to hear that @Needadoughnut! Fx 2019 brings you your BFP!

Seahawk80 · 12/12/2018 21:26

I've been crampy on and off, no AF yet and not due til tues next week. All
I can think is implantation??

Kb28 · 13/12/2018 00:18

Hi ladies, first time commenting but I’ve been reading threads on here for close to a year now!

TTC #1
Cycle 3 after MC in September and Cycle 10 in total
Age 29
CD 22

Wanted to comment as I’m in exactly the same position as you Seahawk- cramping all day on and off. Light pink spotting when I first got up this morning but nothing since so also not sure if it’s just AF arriving early or possible implantation. This was also our first month trying SMEP and OPK. Fingers crossed it’s implantation for us bothe but trying not to get my hopes up!!

Seahawk80 · 13/12/2018 07:26

Welcome @Kb28 it's so hard isn't it! Dr google says implantation cramps are uncommon but do happen. Plus I have sore boobs this morning which I had really early on with DS, in fact it was what made me test (long story but had been trying for a long time, irregular cycles and had 2 scans for pcos that month and wrongly assumed that if I was pregnant they would see something). Desperately trying not to get my hopes up
And thinking how dull a booze free Xmas will be - especially as we are hosting the in laws!

Good luck to everyone in the TWW!

ronniemipperton · 13/12/2018 07:38

Still haven’t ovulated and DH is pretty much refusing to dtd anymore this month. What a mess. Writing December off. I guess at least I can drink at Christmas.

Moncwf · 13/12/2018 07:47

Sorry @needadoughnut always sad to be out.
@seahawk maybe? Fingers crossed
@mrslbear & @goldflakepaint I check my cervix! Was one of my first signs with DS, cervix was really soft just as AF was due when normally it's firm. I'm 7/8dpo and it's currently firm but high. Never checked this early so don't what that means. I might stop checking as I'll just drive myself crazy. I don't think it's a reliable sign anyway.

Sorry he's not cooperating @ronniemipperton! I am focusing on a good Christmas drink if we're out, and if we're in I'd end up telling both our families stupidly early.

ronniemipperton · 13/12/2018 08:01

Thanks @Moncwf. I don’t blame him, neither of us have a very high sec drive at the best of times let alone when I’ve spent the past 12 days saying “I think I’m about to ovulate, we need to dtd now...”

Seahawk80 · 13/12/2018 08:52

@ronniemipperton it's so hard isn't it. I guess in the olden days people never had sex before marriage and then they had babies straight away as they wanted to do it all the time!

xLauraa · 13/12/2018 13:52

How accurate are Asda pink dye tests? I'm on cycle 14 and it feels too good to be true!

Had sore boobs for nearly 2 weeks now and I was due on today. Had some light cramps on and off ....

HELP don't wanna get my hopes up!

Seahawk80 · 13/12/2018 15:13

Wow @xLauraa that looks positive to me! I don't know anything about Asda tests but it's super rare to get a false positive! Congratulations!!

xLauraa · 13/12/2018 15:20

@Seahawk80 is it really? I hope you're right🙈 I've just bough 2 FRERs and 2 digital ClearBlue tests! 😂

xLauraa · 13/12/2018 16:08

FRER 😭
Gonna do again in morning to see if it's darker!!

December bus ho ho ho
MrsLBear · 13/12/2018 16:19

@xLauraa I can see a line!!!!!!!!

loveshinealight · 13/12/2018 16:22

@xLauraa - I definitely see a line!!!!!

bunhead34 · 13/12/2018 16:28

@xLauraa I see it too!

xLauraa · 13/12/2018 16:35

@bunhead34 @loveshinealight @MrsLBear 🤞🏼🤞🏼 can't wait until the morning to see if it's darker! I'm in utter shock after 14 months of BFNs!

Kaye03 · 13/12/2018 16:46

@xLauraa i can def see a line on both of them 🤗😁

Kb28 · 13/12/2018 18:22

@seahawk I also woke up with sore boobs this morning which is unusual for me before AF so I bought a first response test - think it’s really really faintly BFP but convincing myself I imagined it but will test in morning with fmu as Ive a few nights out this weekend so want to be sure before I drink any alcohol.

Congrats @xLauraa !!! Here’s to a darker line tomorrow Grin
