Im so sorry @Wishful30.
I too was so happy when I read your hubby's reaction.. 😪😪

bunhead34 · 15/11/2018 09:10

So sorry @Wishful30 ❤️
Be kind to yourself today, chocolate and bubble baths ❤️❤️

dragonmummy17 · 15/11/2018 15:40

@wishful30 I'm so so sorry. Please don't feel bad about DH though... you are going through this together. Look after yourself

Wishful30 · 15/11/2018 16:53

So grateful for this group. Thankyou all for your messages. It's really helpful talking to people that 'understand'

I went to work this morning. Had a meltdown and left early.
Told DH when he got in, and he took it ok. I think he's more worried about me.

We've had a chat and agreed that maybe me changing things up last month has helped but it was too soon... maybe 🤞🏻
Onwards... 🙄

loveshinealight · 15/11/2018 17:04

@Wishful30 - I'm so sorry you are going through this. Life is just so unfair sometimes ThanksGin

Wishful30 · 15/11/2018 19:00

DH now wants to take me to hospital 🤦🏻‍♀️
Dr Google is NOT helping and he's even considering I may still be pregnant.
Not good trying to explain blood and clots to your upset other half. 😣

stormtrooperjulian · 16/11/2018 09:33

I’m so sorry @Wishful30 that’s so unfair Flowers how are you feeling today?

Wishful30 · 16/11/2018 11:27

Hey, bit better today. Went to the gp this morning mainly to put DH mind at rest.
Gp has phoned the early pregnancy unit and they told me to go strait there. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I assume they want to discuss what's happened and scan to confirm??
It all feels a bit over dramatic to me if I'm honest.

Smileyface32 · 16/11/2018 11:42

I haven’t been on here for a while. So sorry about what you’re going through @wishful30 hope you’ll get some clarity once you’ve been in for checks.x

NoParticularPattern · 16/11/2018 14:52

Afternoon ladies. I hope you’re all doing ok!

wishful it’s good that you’re being seen by the EPU. They didn’t take me seriously with my first loss and it really wound me up. I knew they couldn’t do anything but I also felt like I needed them to tell me what I was to expect- stuff to look out for or when to ring them again if anything happened etc. They were really helpful once I got them to take it seriously but it was a struggle. I hope they’re being similarly kind to you and you at least get a definitive answer as to what’s happening. Be kind to yourself FlowersCake

I just tested with a FRER and got a positive. Looks like I must have ovulated late or something. So here goes the cycle of being absolutely petrified at every twinge and cramp. Hopefully the 9mo will take my mind off things plus we have a holiday booked in a fortnight and then Christmas. Hopefully time passes quickly!

bunhead34 · 16/11/2018 14:59

@NoParticularPattern congrats! How many dpo are you?

Wishful30 · 16/11/2018 15:03

@NoParticularPattern congratulations 🤞🏻 for a sticky little bean and breezing through the whole 9months xx

Wishful30 · 16/11/2018 15:06

EPU were very busy but the nurse was lovely.
Too early to scan really, so I've had a urine test - clearly negative.
Just waiting on bloods to determine levels. May need to go back Sunday for more bloods.
If all ok, carry on as normal.
Very disappointed obviously, but it's spurred me on to see the gp for a fertility referral and second opinion on the private treatment I had.
Managed to actually be pregnant, naturally, so there's a light at the end of the very long tunnel and hopefully avoiding ivf 🤞🏻

NoParticularPattern · 16/11/2018 15:28

bunhead I have no idea!! I didn’t do OPKs this month as my cycles are still all over as I’m still breastfeeding my 9mo daughter. I had a ridiculous evap two weeks ago but a FRER said no. Have tested a couple of times with ICs between then and now and got a couple of lines two days in a row so thought I’d risk a FRER and two lines came up very quickly. I’d say I’m 4 weeks, not much more- probably slightly less if anything. I’m very lucky to have conceived so quickly- this is only cycle 4 (long cycle though) since my daughter was born (exactly 40 weeks ago actually) so I’m cautiously optimistic. Today was CD43

wishful I’m glad the EPU nurses were lovely. They were all brilliant with us too last time we were in the “secret sad ladies club” as DH refers to it. Hopefully bloods will get you the all clear and you can get that appointment with your GP. Fingers crossed your GP will be helpful and they can give you some good advice. I know you said that you’d had acupuncture this cycle and I’ve heard a lot of success stories with it so it does sound like it definitely helped you out. My friend is currently 16 weeks after 4 years of trying and two failed IVF cycles (didn’t get a BFP at all either time) and the only thing she changed for the last cycle was to have acupuncture and exercise a bit more than usual- she got three times as many eggs collected as the last two goes so also has some frozen now too. She swears it was the acupuncture that gave her the boost (it was recommended by her consultant). Sending lots of love (and chocolate!!!!)

ronniemipperton · 16/11/2018 16:28

Oh @Wishful30 I’m so sorry. This ttc business is so hard.

Chocolate89 · 16/11/2018 17:10

@wishful im so sorry, gutted for you. Sending you lots of hugs ❤💐 ttc can be so cruel.

@noparticularpattern congrats my dear, so lovely to see a bfp! So exciting!! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months!💐💐💐

Wishful30 · 16/11/2018 17:22

Blood result is 6.... whatever that means 🙄
But at this stage of pregnancy they would expect it to be about 26. So it must have dropped quite dramatically.
So I'm taking yesterday as CD1 and going to carry on with my natural supplements, acupuncture and hot water bottle.
Will be interesting to see if I get LH surge this month or whether it skips to next month.

Thankyou all for your kind wishes and support. It does make a difference xx

bunhead34 · 16/11/2018 17:53

Is it ridiculous to do a FRER if AF is due - 1 week today?

XxTaeexP · 16/11/2018 19:02

🎊🎊Congratz @noparticularpattern!!🎊🎊

I've been feeling cramps and back pain for the last two days.. Af may come early.. 😒😒

stormtrooperjulian · 16/11/2018 19:24

@NoParticularPattern congratulations!

@bunhead34 try to wait til midweek maybe? My af is due Thursday, I was considering testing on Sunday when I’ll be around 9dpo but thinking it may be a waste of time as it would be too early.

ronniemipperton · 16/11/2018 20:57

I’m considering testing tomorrow at only 8dpo. Even though I know it’s stupid and a waste of a test.

bunhead34 · 16/11/2018 21:25

I'm going to try and wait until at least Wednesday!

Chocolate89 · 16/11/2018 21:38

@Ronnie is so hard not too isn't it?? 😂 i am 5dpo and constantly checking FF to count down on the calender until i can test 🤪

ronniemipperton · 16/11/2018 21:53

I haven’t tested early since April so I’ve decided I’m allowed to waste one in a moment of madness this time! Plus the FRERs I bought the other day were 3 tests for the price of 2 so it’s basically a free one 🤪

Hopefully I’ll get it out of my system and go back to waiting for AF after this...

dragonmummy17 · 17/11/2018 07:16

@NoParticularPattern congratulations

I'm due AF on Saturday. No FRER in the house so I can't be tempted to test early... if AF doesn't come I'll get one next Saturday
