Well ladies, I can confidently say it really doesn't matter what time of day you poas.. clearly not for me anyway as my pm's seem to be better than my first morning pees.

Good job my big stick up if ovulation kits turned up today 😂

Nice lines wishful!! I often found I got better lines with FRERs in an afternoon too. Weird. Yeah when I fell pregnant with my daughter I’d just ordered a shipment of OPKs as my cycles were weird post MC. Sod’s law that Grin

Wishful30 · 13/11/2018 20:36

So we're supposed to be going down this big, long, super fast slide on Sunday. A family adventure my mum booked for us at Easter.
My sister, nieces and nephew are all coming too.
I'm guessing the potential risks mean it's just not worth it. I was so looking forward to and feel really bad as I don't want to tell anyone I'm pregnant yet... just incase.....
How to get outta this one without a massive guilt trip 😐
I have a bad back, so I've just dropped it into conversation

NoParticularPattern · 13/11/2018 21:10

wishful I’d be going down the “ate something dodgy the other and don’t, ahem, trust myself....” route. I remember having to lie (badly) to explain why I couldn’t drink on my own hen weekend. Three days and I had to pretend I was on antibiotics that were making me sick 😂😂 pretty sure everyone saw right through me but they were all too polite to say! Hopefully the same will apply for your family!

Wishful30 · 14/11/2018 06:42

That'll do for DH later 😃
I poas one of the cheapies and it is seriously sparkly white! Thought I might not have decent enough urine, but nope, that worked 👍🏻

Yes @NoParticularPattern I might go with that as I've also suffered with ibd 😂

@wishful30 that’s brilliant !!! I’m so pleased for you 🤣🤣🤣 bet you can’t wait to telll him !! I can’t belive you’ve managed not to already 😬 I would have spilled immediately 😳

bunhead34 · 14/11/2018 12:12

Eugh I hate the TWW it's all I can think about!!
Symptom spotting already, im having funny little pains in my tum, mostly left side but a little on the right too 🤷🏼‍♀️

stroan · 14/11/2018 14:25

@bunhead34, rubbish isn’t it?

With my first pregnancy, I couldn’t accurately pinpoint ovulation so didn’t really have a TWW. This time, I know I am 9dpo and it’s such a horrible waiting game.

I’ve had loads of mild cramps, a big of a dodgy tummy and sore/tender boobs. Could be absolutely nothing. And even though I know better, I can’t stop peeing on internet cheapies Blush

bunhead34 · 14/11/2018 17:04

@stroan I don't even know what day I'm on!
I got 3days Of solid smileys, but felt like ovulation was on Monday (which was the 4th day). But that's just guessing really!

Does that sound right?

If ov was only Monday, I won't start peeing on sticks just yet 😂

Wishful30 · 14/11/2018 18:19

How to make your husband cry #101
Tell him you're pregnant 😂

I'm staying on the bus for this month in the hope to see lots more BFP!
Good luck to everyone x

bunhead34 · 14/11/2018 18:48

@Wishful30 ahhhh that so sweet!! ❤️

Realitysucks · 14/11/2018 19:05

@wishful30 aww that’s lovely I would love to be in that position, am welling up just thinking about it. Hope all goes well for you and fingers crossed x

dragonmummy17 · 14/11/2018 20:35

@Wishful30 i just popped on to check all was good with you... such lovely news and so pleased for you

ronniemipperton · 14/11/2018 21:03

Congrats @Wishful30, lovely news :)

I’ve been doing this for so long I stopped worrying about the TWW but apparently I have started again. Another friend’s just announced she’s pregnant which I think has set me off.

Does anyone have a good coping mechanism for AF turning up? I usually end up grumpily drinking a bottle of wine but feel like I should come up with a more positive way of distracting myself. Maybe going out for sushi.

Wishful30 · 14/11/2018 21:07

@ronniemipperton exactly what I did when I saw af had arrived.
Had the hump and a couple of glasses of wine. Then realised a couple of days later I was still spotting and not had proper af.
I think my bfn tests up until then made me accept it wasn't going happen this time either, so I carried on as usual.
Total shock at the bfp!!

Thankyou everyone for the congrats. Really hoping to see some more bfp.
I've been riding these busses for so long I feel I know a few of you! Xx

Realitysucks · 14/11/2018 21:08

@ronniemipperton nope I’m on the wine 😬 I managed to day 5 of AF now hit the wine 😭😭😭

Wishful30 · 15/11/2018 07:34

Morning ladies...
knew I shouldn't have told DH so soon. Woke up this morning to cramps and proper bleeding. Now I've gotta tell him later that I've lost it already.
Devastated but somewhat not surprised. The timing was just to perfect with Christmas and our impending long haul flight.
Back to taking all the vitamins, peeing on sticks and wondering what's the matter with me.
Now my cycle is messed up who knows when I'll ovulate next 😞

stroan · 15/11/2018 07:35

I couldn’t resist any longer and tested with a FRER this morning at 11/12 dpo. BFN.

This is hard. I feel so rubbish, exactly like in early pregnancy last time but it’s most likely my body playing tricks on me.

Realitysucks · 15/11/2018 07:41

@wishful30 I’m so sorry 😞

stroan · 15/11/2018 07:57

Oh @wishful30, we cross posted.

I am so sorry xx

EverythingNow · 15/11/2018 08:14

I'm so sorry @wishful

Chocolate89 · 15/11/2018 08:23

So sorry wishful30 xx

Realitysucks · 15/11/2018 08:30

@wishful30 I’m so sorry was on way to trian when I saw your message and wanted to say more. There is nothing wrong with you Hun. If there was we wouldnt all be here struggling too x I had my first child 16 years ago just like that, despite being told at 17 I only had a 20% chance of conceiving naturally. We weren’t even trying but I was young and took it for granted. One thing I have learnt over the past few years is that getting pregnant is actually really difficult for most people. It’s an amazing science but also there is a lot of luck and perfect timing involved. I know you’re feeling crap now but have faith it can happen x all it takes is 1! X

Wishful30 · 15/11/2018 08:38

@Realitysucks thanks x
We have been through so much this passed year.
I'm 36 in a few months. I've had mild bad news from the fertility clinic, where I paid thousands for all the tests and an IUI package. Only to find out by digging deeper myself that there is another underlying issue that has clearly been totally overlooked more than once. So I have yet to write my letter of complaint to them.
I'm trying to be positive in the send that I've had chemicals before and af on time.
This is the first month of trying after acupuncture treatments, supplements and 'uterine warming' whether it's a fluke that it worked who knows, but maybe, just maybe it has helped, but it was all too soon this month.
I'm now feeling gutted that DH is wandering round at work all pleased with himself and I've gotta break the need to him later.
Knew I shouldn't have told him yet. But also, shouldn't keep doing this alone to avoid upsetting people 😐

Realitysucks · 15/11/2018 08:45

@wishful30 you can’t do it alone, he will understand x
