So I'm finally able to start TTC for first baby this month! Only on CD3 so have got maybe a week until I start going crazy with the OPKs, studying my temps etc.

When AF appears... this made me literally laugh out loud 🙊

I had a dream last night I used up all of my OPKs and last pg test (in one go, weird) just for the sake of using them. Thought I wasn't pregnant but then it was a BFP! Cried my heart out, DH cried, in laws were so happy... woke up and just felt so sad 😩 TTC is so irritating. I can really appreciate it takes some women years to get pg and of course I've not been trying that long, but I feel so shitty not knowing what we're doing wrong 😩 this baby is so so wanted, I've waited soooo long to be in the position to finally TTC. Eurgh.

@cupcakesandglitter I understand exactly how you feel darling. I feel abit robbed aswell from having a MC, :( when other people who don't deserve children ( drug addicts who do everything whilst pregnant. Abusive parents etc ) have children 😭 I'll get riding tonight but feel abit low as my grandads took abit of a turn. :(

@Delilah7 oh I can completely relate!! My mc were all unplanned as well so I'm more pissed off that now I want it, it's not happening. I feel like such a failure as a woman which is absolutely pathetic but my womb gives me so much pain and hassle every month, why can't it just do what it's there for!!!

@cupcakesandglitter I'm so with you :( and my clock isn't just ticking, it's pounding. And my body isn't even giving me trouble and yet I can't get pregnant from just having sex once like the people you described, drug addicts, abusive parents, or people who don't even want kids.

Feeling less sorry for myself today. Seem to have had a raging fever last night which has since resolved- probably a viral illness.

AF due soon. Negative FRER at 11dpo yesterday so probably not my month, but we'll see!

Well I'm not sure it'll make a huge difference, I'm CD 9 and have been ovulating on like CD17 ish, so I'm not actually due to ovulate until the weekend anyway...

However I have been wishing ovulation forwards and wishing for a longer luteal phase, and the wish may well have come true as the flashing smiley did not come this soon last cycle.
I wonder if less stress, plus the preconception vitamins have actually done the trick and I may ovulate sooner this time?

If so, I've totally shot myself in the foot!

I'm not even sure how to approach DH, I don't really wanna tell him it's FW as I think it put him off last time. Might just wait it out and see if he comes on to me at the weekend and hope that's around ov!

I think stress has a major impact, my cycle is much shorter this time and I am almost 100% positive it's because I haven't had so much work on.

Urghhh my post ovulation acne is back in full force today. So frigging annoying!!

@FlapJackered and you were so worried you missed your peak. Your body is there to let you know you ovulated by presenting you with acne. I normally just want to eat all the time after ovulation.

@KatBeCool I wish it would have a different way of letting me know! 😂
My temps are up so I think I have ov'd but just not sure when as I didn't really have a dip it was more of a slow rise and the two apps I have are saying different days 🤨
I think either way we didn't Dtd enough before so probably doesn't matter.
How are you? What cd are you on now?

@Delilah7 it's a pain in the arse isn't! I hope when I get pregnant I am one of those women who get beautiful clear skin, knowing me it'll be the opposite! 🙄

@FlapJackered I'm CD18 and 4 DPO. Boobs sore, lower back kinda sore. Usual fun stuff. And hungry.

On a positive note, my bloodwork came back normal and so did my husband's sperm test. Next testing the lining and hopefully I won't need that. Seeing the Dr on Wednesday about my other blood results, my thyroids came back a bit high, hoping it's nothing. But I know what she's gonna say, as all my results show that I need to exercise. So I'm trying haha, it's boring.

So despite EWCM I have a negative OPK, still a line on it but not thick or bold in colour either!

I can confirm I cracked today and purchased a 2 pack 'early' pregnancy tests! Will take one tomorrow even though it's probably too early and my af will probably appear literally Right as I'm peeing on it (anyone else get that phenomenon?!)

Any teachers on here? I’m trying to wait till November/December to ttc to maximise summer hols pre baby but thinking of starting in October.
Not sure if I’m being impatient and whether I should suck it up and wait. Only started at this school in September 2018 (after 2 years at previous school).

So my stats are
Me:24, dh:29
Ttc from November
Cd14, came off pill in February

@SurfingTheSouthWest hi lovely, no teacher but I'm here to help! You have to be in a job a certain amount don't you to get maternity, or is it just that you've moved to another but same employment if you get me? It's so exciting when you're about to start. Start taking the folic acid now hun 😘 xxx

Delilah7 eeeek thanks. Well technically I have to be in the job 26 weeks at 15 weeks before due date week. So in theory, once next AF comes, financially we can go for it.
Just a little worried about the prospect of a July or August baby. I know the child is more important than the birthdate but not sure if I should just wait a little longer to avoid it or not. Getting impatient and frustrated I think!
