@Dosmamas that sounds promising! If it helps I was a grumpy arsehole yesterday and it felt just like pmt. The only difference was the cramps and today the cm. Thank you, I will update in the morning!

Im 2 days late now, well I will be when I go to bed! I had a BFN on a FRER on Sunday though which was 10DPO so I'm in a weird place!!! I feel like I'm living on borrowed time, and each time I go to the loo I can barely even bare to look and see if I'm out! I want to know either way though now as it's just messing with my mind!

@Mseddy there have been quite a few positives on this thread so far, I hope the good luck continues! Every time my DP goes to the loo I expect her to come down and tell me AF is here, even worse I have this reoccurring fantasy where I walk into the bathroom and there is a cheeky test on the countertop with a BFP.

@dosmammas hopefully the luck continues for us both! Funny you should say that about the test on the side in the bathroom. The one I took Sunday morning before work that my husband knew I was going to take I had already decided if it was positive I was just going to leave it on the sink with a note saying morning daddy. Unfortunately given it was negative and o didn't want to wake him at 6.30 with bad news I just left the BFN on the sink instead :( it was only later in the day I realised he might have got excited when he saw I left the test out thinking it was good news :(

@Mseddy wouldn't it be amazing. How could you not just run and jump on him though. Part of me thinks my DP could go to work and wait for me to find it. The other half knows she cannot keep a secret/surprise to save her life.

Already learnt so much for next cycle on this thread, we will definitely start temping even though it takes a few cycles to know your pattern (any thermometer recommendations). I didn't know (female shame here lol) that after you get your solid smiley it may be up to 48 hours until the egg is released, which would explain a few things. We inseminated about 2 hours after we got a solid. But for the next day or two my DP had ovary pain and cramps, naive us thought it was implantation pain (lol) so we may tested way too soon. I hope anyways!.

I'm probably totally kidding myself thinking I could keep it a secret tbh!

This morning's test is positive, but hardly any darker at all than yesterday. I'm going to try and get a frer today, but I'm not feeling very hopeful as by 13dpo I think I should be getting a good line not such faint ones.

Those clear blue tests are shit aren't they?? The second test down was with fmu today. The frer was without even holding or anything. How did clear blue get to be the big name of pregnancy tests with shit products like that??

Those of you with positive tests, how are you feeling about it? I feel tentatively excited, nervous, sick, happy, worried... a real mix. I keep reminding myself that I was a complete wreck when pregnant with dd, but once she was born it all fell into place. I think I'm more worried about if the pregnancy makes me very ill, what affect that will have on dd.

Congratulations to all the new +++! Period due on Sun and I made a bet with myself that I will not test early. It's my birthday today so lots planned for the rest of the week to keep me myself distracted 😊

Feel a bit cheeky saying that as it's literally our first month trying..my partner has had stitch like pain under her ribs for the past two days and is very tired today, no appetite, hot and cold sweats. She said she had a tiny tiny tiny amount of spotting this morning but hasn't wee'd since (shout out to all the nurses out there with their 12 hour bladders) she is at work. I have such a weird feeling about this. I feel like she could be pregnant. Or may be I've just spent too many hours on conception threads today.

This is from 9dpo we flat out said it was negative, anyone see anything?

@dosmummas im a nurse too :) the 12 hour bladder thing definitely helps with holding in before a test! TMI but ive got pale pink when I wipe, this isn't how my period usually starts, but im 99.9% sure this is AF and im out this month! And we cant try next month because my husband is out of the country with work for all my fertile days! so I guess that's us until November! Im going to use it as an incentive to loose more weight in the month we arnt trying though :)

@Mseddy nurses rock! I'm a nurse myself but defected to the corporate side, now I do clinical coding😈, I don't miss nursing but I do miss how awesome nurses are to work with. The funniest craziest people I have ever encountered! That sucks about next month for you, at least you are turning it into a positive. Fingers still gently crossed for you that this pink spotting is just that.
