No symptom spotting for me this month & no testing until AF is due/late! Anyone in a similar place? 🤞🏼

@Mamabear12 aww you are so close to the end of the TWW! You have been so strong to hold off testing!

Dosmamas, I held off testing for just over a week and tested, but got a negative. However, my actual period isn’t due until the 21. I have usually a 25 day cycle. It used to be clock work 28 days. But the last year or so became 25 days and 2 or3 days of annoying spotting. However, this month is different as I had what I thought spotting 4 days before my period and it was as described in pp practically nothing. Doesn’t leave anything on the liner and is only occasionally when I wipe. This morning I checked and nothing now. I did another test this morning and nothing. So it’s a waiting game. It’s frustrating though how your body can play tricks on you when you are ttc. Now I’m starting to think I must be pregnant with this change in my cycle. I won’t test again until the 21s (okay maybe the 20th!) lol

@mamabear12 - everything crossed that you get your bfp in the next few days. Did you use opks? Just wondering if you could have ovulated late and so have a longer cycle this month?

@onemorewish how are you today? Any more spotting?

I'm not feeling good at all today. I walked dd to school and had to call dh to come and get me as I felt faint. I don't think it's pregnancy related or anything as I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome and at times that makes me feel absolutely awful. It did make me feel a bit worried as to how I will manage the school run etc if I'm lucky enough to get a bfp. Those of you with dc already, is that something you are worried about?

Thanks stormwhale. I attempted to use the opk but gave up as half the time they didn’t work at all. Partially my fault as I attempted to pee on the stick instead of dipping. Next month I’m going to go for a more expensive one. I just guessed. I used to be good at guessing when I had a 28 day clock work cycle. But this time trying dc3 I’m not so sure. We are on cycle 2 and I will find out soon. My period is usually day 25 give or take a day. And I get 2 or 3 days of spotting (annoyingly!!). But this time the spotting isn’t spotting really. I’m just hoping it will go away and I’m pregnant. I will be so annoyed if it’s just a delayed period as then it would be my body playing tricks on me!

I have 2dc and the school run was okay. They are 20 months apart and when my ds was a newborn my husband took my dd to nursery. But I did the pick up and had to make sure to time the feeding so baby had enough time to feed, diaper change and then sleep during school run. And of course my dd always wanted Park after. Now they are older so easier and I plan to get another au pair who will help as well. We also have a 6 month pup. So will need the extra pair of hands the first few months so I can focus on the baby.

Did at frer this morning fmu and it was bfn. Not too disappointed as 9dpo.

Did breakfast for dc1 and then went loo and I had red blood on tissue and realised I had cramps. Previous cycles I've had only 10 luteal days so guessed period already and thought what a waste of a frer. I've put a towel on and been looking after dc1.

Went for another wee after maybe an hour and no blood now even though I can feel cramps.

So I'm in limbo land and not sure how this is going to go...I would be more positive about implantation bar the fact it's so close to my 10 days luteal phrase.

I've even already texted my mum to tell Her I'm out this month - that's how convinced I was that period had started.

It's going to be a long couple of days waiting to see if it is af and then maybe test again if not

Hi everyone, baby #1 happened so quickly I didn't experience the 2WW!! What do I do with myself?! CD18, I think I've ovulated on Sunday, not measuring temp or anything but we did apply ourselves this month so I'm hopeful.

@Azure83 If my own experience is anything to go by, the tww is for driving yourself insane wondering if you are pregnant. that's all I seem to be able to do at the minute!

I have had an odd sort of day. I started feeling a bit like I had a uti last night, then went v faint on the school run this morning. I popped a wee sample into the doctors as I really haven't felt too well at all and temp has been up.

They have called me back and told me it's not an infection, but the glucose is high and the Dr wants to see me on friday to talk it over. They want me to do a pregnancy test as I said on the form that I could be pregnant, but I have explained that it may well be too soon to tell. They said that it could be caused by pregnancy, or diabetes.

My head is spinning a bit to be honest. I was expecting a course of antibiotics so the call blindsided me a little. I already have other health problems, I don't need any more.

My boobs feel huge but they often do post ovulation so im not reading into that. Tbh I don't feel at all pregnant so who knows. Holding off to test if I can!

Bfn here this morning. I really didn't want to test early, but as the Dr has asked me to I tested this morning at 7dpo and will test tomorrow too.

I'm feeling pretty shitty to be honest. I don't want to speak negatively but I'm losing optimism this month. I have the leg cramps and heavy feeling in my lady parts (sorry TMI!) that I normally get when I'm on AF (even though it's still 5 days away). Had it last month too from 7dpo and sure enough AF came right on time. Thought I might have gotten away with it this month seeing as it didn't start at 7dpo like last month, but 10dpo today and it's started. Feeling really bummed out ☹️

@rollerskaterdata oh sweet, sorry you feel so blue. It's so hard to keep positive, but you aren't out yet. The highs and lows of ttc are brutal, can you do something to take your mind off it today? Bug unmumsnetty hugs for you.

@Stormwhale thanks, that made me feel a bit better. I feel so selfish saying this as I'm only on cycle 2 of TTC but this journey is already wearing on me and the disappointment is almost too much to bear. I want to stop but can't stop because I want a baby! I'm worried to stop trying and just see how it goes in case it takes that much longer because I won't be tracking and may mistime BD? I've not even got the dreaded witch yet and I'm all over the place!

Roller, if I were you I think I would put a pause on that train of thought. If you can, wait until af is due and test then so you have the certainty either way. Sometimes it can be the limbo land that is hardest to bear. Once you know for sure you may feel calmer and more positive. Then I would revisit these thoughts and see how you feel about next month if you don't get your bfp.

I honestly do know exactly how you feel though as I'm pretty early on in the journey but am finding it super tough too. You aren't on your own, hopefully we can all see each other through.

@Stormwhale thanks hun! I should've known it was coming but was too scared to hope, I've been so emotionally all over the place the past few days and I never get like this ever! It's still early days hun so you're deffo not out, and let us know how you get on today at the doctors, really hoping it all goes well for you x

@rollerskaterdata congrats! Such an emotional roller coaster! I am out this month, period finally came after several days of confusion. SO ANNOYING! Its just so frustrating to have so many days of super light spotting making me wonder what the heck is going on. I am booking myself in for acupuncture and reducing drinking to once a week. I was having too many nights of two glasses of wine. I did notice the one month I was visiting family in another country and not drinking that much my period magically was 28 days cycle again so alcohol definitely has an effect even though others would say it doesn't.

Pleased to see our first BFP after not being online for a few days. Congratulations @rollerskaterdata! Sympathies with everyone out this month, loadsa luck for next month 11 dpo here... still in Spain so no tests to temp me! Not feeling to hopeful though I feel like AF will come! But we will see
