No symptom spotting for me this month & no testing until AF is due/late! Anyone in a similar place? 🤞🏼

Hiya all, can I join?

I'm 4 possibly 5dpo. I MC in April then again in July. Been pregnant 3 times now and always got implantation bleed and cramping. Fingers crossed for me and everyone else in this TWW 🤗 xx

Chocolate89 · 15/09/2018 19:15

Too right rollerskaterdata!! I am the same, i enjoy the symptom spotting!

8dpo and sooooo tired. Had more creamy cm than would be normal for me today, hoping it's a good sign! Have it in my head that this isn't our month though, just have a feeling! Was going to test at 12dpo but i poas in my sleep last night and i think i broke the seel 😂 so going to start from 10dpo which is Monday🤞🏻🤞🏻

OneMoreWish · 15/09/2018 19:44

5dpo and I've been getting mild cramps low down on and off for a few days. I'm really confused as if you google there is no chance it's implantation yet and your body doesn't know if pregnant yet.

Why then do lots of women get cramping so early on ( according to google)?

I was way more obsessed when trying for #dc1 so I'm sure I would have noticed this. So I'm thinking it can't be a good or real sign? I wonder why my body is doing it??

I'm symptom spotting when I get chance. Not much during day due to dc1 but once they are in bed I'm googling away haha

Roll on the next week. Thinking will test 12dpo so nearly halfway there...

rollerskaterdata · 15/09/2018 20:00

Welcome @WishingonaStar77, so sorry to hear of your losses, I really hope you get a sticky bean soon! X

@OneMoreWish @Chocolate89 right?! I've decided it's way too much fun and it's addictive! Yes I may get AF anyway but I'll just try again next month and symptom spot then! I'm only going to be having babies at one stage in my life and then it's over, I've decided I'm going to try to embrace the highs, lows and all aspects of this journey!

Im also really curious about the early cramping? I didn't have this last month and it really is too early for implantation so what is it??!! I know our bodies 'don't know' we're preggo yet but I was reading on another forum (as you do!) and someone mentioned the fertilised egg emitting signals of sorts, that our bodies can pick up on even before implantation?! Surely if it was so cut and dry that's it's impossible to feel anything before implantation, no woman ever would be feeling ANYTHING, let alone cramping, before implantation and yet so many women do and go on to get BFPs! If it's not the egg it's gotta be something...🧐

rollerskaterdata · 15/09/2018 20:04

And I don't mean normal post Ov / pre AF symptoms that a woman may typically get every month, I mean symptoms that aren't the norm for that given woman. I'm so curious!

Beautifulblue · 15/09/2018 20:19

I have no symptoms here ladies... but then have to be honest I had none with my daughter either until I was past 12 weeks!! Not one! So I don't believe it's a deal breaker if you just feel totally normal! Also believe people do have super early symptoms to though... we're all so different! It's just hard to differentiate between normal PMS symptoms & pregnancy isn't it?! I wish there was just a scanner you could put on your uterus to see what's going on in there! How amazing would it be to watch the conception!!? 😂

I think I may have ovulated yesterday so I’m on the TWW! With my son, I had a positive test only a week after ovulation (I couldn’t wait to do a test lol) but I’m going to try and resist this time! This is our first month ttc number 2! Good luck everyone x

Stormwhale · 15/09/2018 20:23

The main symptom for me with dd was actually the lack of pmt symptoms. No sore boobs, grumpyness etc. Then a day before my period was due my boobs all of a sudden inflated massively. I looked at them and it confirmed what I already knew. The pregnancy test was not a shock as my body had told me loud and clear.

rollerskaterdata · 15/09/2018 20:40

I second that, I had absolutely no symptoms with my son either. I only thought to take a test because I realised my period was 5 days late, and low and behold got a blazing positive! Although I wonder...maybe we would have had symptoms if we went looking for them? I wasn't trying with him so was carrying on as normal!

OneMoreWish · 15/09/2018 20:56

@Beautifulblue I love the idea of a scanner to see what's going on in there! I've watched that fertilisation clip a few times and it would be amazing if you could see it happen in your own body.

@rollerskaterdata I love your attitude .

I had iui twice to get pregnant with first baby so watched for every sign. I don't think I had typical symptoms though (cramps, dizzy, big boobs etc ) I remember feeling very wet down there around 12dpo which is why I tested but can't remember what cm was like the rest of the time post ovulation.

Cramps have been annoying me more than anything as I know they can't be pregnancy symptom but every now and then it feels a bit like a flutter and reminds me of when I felt dc1 move in my tummy

I hope I get a bfp...

Baby dust to all x

Beautifulblue · 15/09/2018 21:48

How long does everyone have until test day & how many DPO are you planning on testing? I'm waiting for AF due date (potentially 1 day late if it is late & I can hold out) so 24th-25th!

OP posts:
Mseddy · 15/09/2018 22:31

@beautifulblue I'm 25th too, but AF is due, so if I manage to hold out until then I'll maybe get my BFN from AF's arrival! Hope not!

Stormwhale · 16/09/2018 07:48

I'm going to test on the 28th if af hasn't arrived. Trying not to symptom spot already. I don't want to get my hopes up!

If this month doesn't see us getting our bfp we are going to try one of the conception lubes. Is anyone else using one?

@onemorewish I have been having cramps for the last day or so. It logically can't be anything pregnancy related, it's far too early, but I can't help but hope!

rollerskaterdata · 16/09/2018 10:48

I'll be testing on the 22nd at 12dpo, AF due 24th/25th. I can't bear the thought of waiting until AF due or late I'm too impatient!

@Stormwhale we used preseed for the first time this cycle (on cycle #2 TTC #2). Heard so many good reviews about it, majority of women seem to conceive first time using it, or using conceive plus which is pretty much the same. I hope it's worked but silly as it sounds I'm also terrified of being one of those women it doesn't work for first time just because the success rate with first time use seems to be so high!! Could also be biased reporting though (that's what I'll be telling myself if if doesn't work!)

SophiePie · 16/09/2018 11:40

I think I'm out for this month- AF seems to have appeared at the last minute :( Good luck to you all, ladies Brew

Stormwhale · 16/09/2018 11:57

Sorry to hear that Sophie. Good luck for next month. CakeFlowers

fee1234 · 16/09/2018 12:34

I'm now 3dpo and testing on 26th when I should be 14dpo. If I can hold out that long!! Will probably cave with a few IC tests about 10 or 11dpo knowing me...

Mseddy · 16/09/2018 13:18

I'm only 3/4dpo so I can't be feeling symptoms. But I've decided my body doesn't enjoy the surge in progesterone we get post ovulation! I slept for 13 hours last night! Everything I've eaten this morning tastes like shit! Had the exact same thing last month! Silly hormones. The TWW is too long!

Beautifulblue · 16/09/2018 15:45

@SophiePie good luck next month, sorry it's shit Sad

@rollerskaterdata I hate to add to the hype but we did actually conceive my daughter the first month we used conceive plus lubricant. I thought it might of been a coincidence but actually I've seen a lot of people finding the same thing so maybe it really is just amazing! Fingers crossed for you to join that #1st time statistic!!

I caught myself thinking I’m so tired and ready for bed. Yes, had a long day out with the kids. But ready for bed? My first symptom spotting of this month 😀 last pregnancy one week before my p was due I was sleeping by 8pm every night. It only 6:30pm and i am looking forward to bed! I am due to get spotting tomorrow, as that is how my periods begin is with 2-3 days of spotting. Crossing fingers Tomorrow will be a no show 😀

rollerskaterdata · 16/09/2018 18:33

@Beautifulblue oh no, no pressure then! So glad it worked for you too though. If it doesn't work for me I think I'm going to be seriously wondering what's wrong with me then 😣

@SophiePie sorry AF got you, have a large glass of 🍷 and fx for next month x

saze4 · 16/09/2018 18:35

Hey ladies! Im not due af for another 10 days but today had brown discharge so not a clue why that is! Really crampy as well they feel different from af cramps 🤷🏼‍♀️

SophiePie · 16/09/2018 19:10

@Stormwhale @Beautifulblue @rollerskaterdata

Thanks. Disappointed but there's always next month

dosmummas · 16/09/2018 21:41

Hi girls, me and my partner (same sex) had our first ever AI on Friday the 14th from our gorgeous donor. Would this make make my partner (who is going to carry) 2dpo or 3dpo? This is our very first attempt, we only had one insemination. AF is due 27th, honoured to be on this TWW with you. Lots of love and hope to all of you.

Extra information: 32 year olds, my partner in previous relationships has conceived and miscarried x3 once with twins. Every month she has cramping on both ovaries and has quite moderate spotting around ovulation. Currently she is only taking pre-Natals and small dose aspirin we used some preseed during insem as she has never produced much CM. Due to her history of MC she is very superstitious about symptom spotting and getting ahead of ourselves. But I have to say either it's all psychological but she has had constant mild cramping since yesterday, no energy and fatigued, gassy and peeing no joke, every 15 to 20 minutes. I know it's waaaaay too early but it's nice to notice a few things out of the norm for her. SmileThanks

OneMoreWish · 16/09/2018 22:51

Hi @dosmummas

I've also used donor sperm via iui this month.

When I got my surge I called my fertility clinic and went in the next day, the assumption being I would ovulate the day after surge.

So you can can count days post iui/insemination (I'm 6dpiui ) but for ease on this thread I refer to 6dpo

So it depends I suppose when you detected surge/ thought your partner ovulated? Did you inseminate the day you thought she was ovulating? If so I would say you were 2dpo ( Saturday being your first day post ovulation)

Wishing you luck xxxx
