every day vs every other?

hello ladies, i have been told by my doctor that every other day is more t`han sufficiant when ttc. However I am panicing that if i dont bd every single day then when i ov there will be nothing there, this is not helped by the fact that I dont quite know when ov will be only some time in the next week.
So opinions please - will there really always be sperm there if i bd every other day or shall i stick to the side of caution and wear my poor dh out? thanks

milky/watery is slighty fertile. some women dont get ewcm, just the milky stuff, which means for them its their fertile mucus.

milky and watery (not tacky) looking cm normally precedes ewcm.

Ew and thanks , Scorpio! I've been wondering about this every day versus every other day thingy too! It tends to be a bit of a mix at the mo though! I dont think I get ewm, and also was confused about whether its me or leftovers (sorry ) I do get the watery milky stuff though - it is that likely to be allright? Oh, and I'cestarted to use preseed too What is the 12 o clock rule about again - I think I'm being dim.

I think its that if you ve had sex the night before anything thats still there by noon the next day isnt sperm.

apparently you can check your cervix as well to see whats going on! not actually sure where the thing is so think i might give that one a miss

OOH! I've tried that one! Its a bit icky though, its supposed to be softer and higher when you are fertile, and feel like your lips, and firmer and lower, feeling like the tip of your nose{!} when you are not fertile. Personally, I wasn't sure I could tell the difference as it felt nothing like my lips or nose, and I just pmsl at the whole thing
