every day vs every other?

hello ladies, i have been told by my doctor that every other day is more t`han sufficiant when ttc. However I am panicing that if i dont bd every single day then when i ov there will be nothing there, this is not helped by the fact that I dont quite know when ov will be only some time in the next week.
So opinions please - will there really always be sperm there if i bd every other day or shall i stick to the side of caution and wear my poor dh out? thanks

I am 37 and dh is 48 , so yep, we are ancient!!

ahh, its soo exciting though. im unbarable when i get to a week before af. must admit to avoiding testing though incase of bfn.

i always look with interest at the tests on access diagnostics- they do 10miu ones, v.v.v sensitive. clearblue is 25miu.

testing is evil with a big E

im 26 dh 29, i'm cancer, dh and dd1 aquarius and dd2 taurus. my sis is a scorpio though

Yep! Sperm lives for 48-72 hours (sometimes longer) so no need for all that!

you know when you check your cm, is it clear when your fertile? mines a bit milky looking!
