Hey everyone,
I'm out for June so on CD1 and expecting AF to turn up around July 7th. Here's hoping for a lucky bus! 🍀 🚌

mussie I think it's different for everyone but I seem to remember that when I came off the pill I had a lot of it.

I've had a second positive opk today. Not as strong as yesterday's but almost as stong as the test line. Does that mean I haven't ovulated yet, or does it take a while for the hormone to clear out?

MidwifeMummy161 · 13/07/2018 22:06

Hey everyone hope you’re all ok! So 12dpo and had a temp drop today (see chart) had the smallest amount of spotting yesterday just a bit of pink on the tissue when I wiped once but nothing since! I’m new to charting, I know a drop can mean AF is coming which I’m fine with but when do I count the end of the luteal phase? From when spotting started, from the drop of bbt or from full flow AF? Gutted I’m out this month but keen for af just to hurry up and come so I can start again! Thanks x

I wouldn't count it until you get full flow. Some pregnancy charts will have a dip and rise again but some people do have a temp drop right before AF. Good luck!

MidwifeMummy161 · 13/07/2018 23:35

Thanks @NoseringGirl, that would be amazing but I’m definitely not holding my breath! So frustrating as I definitely ‘felt’ pregnant this month and it’s just me convincing myself cuz I want it so much!

Pudding01 · 14/07/2018 06:55

I think we are finally making progress! 🙌🏻
Still no idea whether ovulation was CD13, 15 or 21, but happy to see some higher temps ☺️

It's definitely looking good @Pudding01 it might make deciding when to test difficult. When do you think you'll do it?

I'm now 8DPO and my temp is still going up with is great but my RPR is still dropping which isn't great.
I was daft and tested this morning, unsurprisingly it was BFN.

Dylan001 · 14/07/2018 08:03

Help!! Im going crazy, af now 4 days late but 2x BFN! Is there any way I could be pregnant but just not showing on the tests?!

TheOneWithTheBaby · 14/07/2018 08:17

Is anyone around? I had a weird feeling this morning and did an ovulation test which turned almost positive. As I'm due on tomorrow I took that as a sign to go to Sainsbury NOW and got a clear blue. Just got this:

Now panicking I may have done it wrong as I kept it in a few seconds too long.

Done this just afterwards.

Congrats @TheOneWithTheBaby 🙂

Pudding01 · 14/07/2018 08:32

I tested this morning with a Morrisons test and BFN. I think if it was CD13, it would have been a BFP by now. So I'll test next weekend, if I can resist! X

TheMagicTorch · 14/07/2018 08:33

@TheOneWithTheBaby congratulations!

Beaglemum93 · 14/07/2018 08:34

Congratulations @TheOneWithTheBaby! Smile

TheOneWithTheBaby · 14/07/2018 08:37

Thank you everyone! I feel slightly shaken!

I just got a promotion this week at work which will start in September. Do I have to tell work before then?

Also I think I will wait with telling DH until tonight. He has to rush off to a meeting in a minute and I think maybe I'll make a special dinner etc to tell him instead. Don't want it to be rushed, but also worried it will distract him before his big thing. Is it weird to not tell him now?

NoseringGirl · 14/07/2018 08:43

@TheOneWithTheBaby congratulations! Brilliant news! Perfectly understandable to not tell your DH yet. I also think you'll be okay with waiting to tell work until after your promotion.

DartmoorDoughnut · 14/07/2018 08:54

@TheOneWithTheBaby congratulations! If you think telling work might affect your promotion - congratulations for that too! - then I wouldn’t tell them tbh.

No AF here yet so I’m tempted to buy some more tests although I know she’ll show up as soon as I do! No real symptoms, shattered but two kids means that’s a permanent state in any case! Fingers firmly crossed

TheOneWithTheBaby · 14/07/2018 08:56

I'm glad you don't think I have to tell work now. I have one more week and then it's the summer holidays so I won't see them for six weeks. I'd like to start the new job before telling anyone. We had actually discussed whether we should put a stop to TTC for a while due to the job situation but it's obviously too late now Wink

My mind is made up about DH. Will tell him tonight!

TheMagicTorch · 14/07/2018 09:20

@TheOneWithTheBaby it'll be lovely telling him tonight with a nice meal! Congratulations

scarlettrouge · 14/07/2018 09:31

Congrats! And don’t tell work til after the summer :)

Wishful30 · 14/07/2018 09:35

@TheOneWithTheBaby
Congratulations!!! 😄

If being pregnant this early doesn't In any way affect your work, I wouldn't tell mine.

I am a Veterinary nurse, so deal with X-rays and anaesthetic gasses, so I have to, for my own safety tell mine. 🙄

As for DH. If I actually somehow am pregnant this time, I may even lie to DH and tell him we're not. As we are attending his nans funeral the day before af is due. Whom he was very close to. So it's a sad time, and I want to surprise him and it be remembered as a happy time.
We've had a chat about how it's not likely this time due to all the stress, my health at the moment. So I don't think he'd care if he realised I kept it from him for a few days.

So happy for you!! Xxx

TheOneWithTheBaby · 14/07/2018 09:57

I work in a school so unless some disgusting disease is starting to go around this week there's no real issue really. And then I'm off for a few weeks.

Wishful, I'm sorry about your husband's nan. I totally get why you wouldn't tell him!

trippingoverrainbows · 14/07/2018 10:44

Congratulations @TheOneWithTheBaby 💕

Laurenita · 14/07/2018 11:01

Congratulations @theonewiththebaby! I’m secretly positive this month. Although I ate something bad a few dpo, and spent 24 hours running to the bathroom every 20 seconds, i’m Now 10 dpo and has cramping and sore breasts the past 2 days and noticed a tiny bit of spotting last night. I’m due AF tomorrow. I’ve never had spotting before that I can think of sndbusually get cramping the moment AF comes so I’m taking it as a sign. I’ll test tomorrow morning if AF doesn’t show, although I’m worried that even though AF is due (my cycles are 24/25 days) it still might be too early to tell (11 dpo)?

marthamay · 14/07/2018 11:52

CONGRATS @theonewiththebaby!!!! That is so exciting!

Newbie21 · 14/07/2018 12:11
