Hey everyone,
I'm out for June so on CD1 and expecting AF to turn up around July 7th. Here's hoping for a lucky bus! 🍀 🚌

So I've got a positive opk today, four days after I thought I would ovulate and for the first time in years (apart from when he's been ill) Dh doesn't feel like dtd Hmm

NoseringGirl · 12/07/2018 20:24

Argh @Changingagain that's so frustrating! Have you managed much in the last could of days? Might be enough!

I've been getting my pre AF lower back pain today which is making me feel like I'm out even though I'm not even due on until Tuesday 😩

Changingagain · 12/07/2018 20:35

noseringgirl don't rule yourself out on that, there's still time.

We didn't do it yesterday but did for the five days before. I'm worried he's got cold feet and doesn't want to say as it's very unlike him. Shouldn't have told him about the opk

Wishful30 · 12/07/2018 20:50

2dpo... or am I 5dpo 🤔

For the first time ttc I actually have no idea 😂

LH surge (smiley face) Sunday night, I swear I had ovulation pain.
Monday morning my monitor says peak. Tho the lines were totally different, and again Tuesday morning.
Monday I had ewcm, however dtd twice Sunday, so maybe because of that. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Also dtd Wednesday evening. (DH away in between)
But the F.F app says I ovulated Tuesday/Wednesday. Which is later than normal for me.

So... when am I supposed to test 🤦🏻‍♀️

My expected af is Sunday 22nd.
But the app says Tuesday 24th.

It's never been this off 🙄 think I'm going to trust my instincts for a while and hope im further along than I think.
Dying to poas already 😂

NoseringGirl · 12/07/2018 20:51

I'll try to keep the faith @Changingagain! Maybe your DH is feeling the pressure a bit? I think they can sometimes worry about letting us down. Have you spoken to him about why he's not in the mood? Could be other stuff on his mind?

NoseringGirl · 12/07/2018 20:54

@Wishful30 the sensible thing to do is wait for the latest date to POAS so you're not doing it too early. Obviously there's absolutely no chance I would take that advice myself 🤣
I'm already arguing with myself whether to POAS tomorrow. I'll be 7DPO with no chance of a positive. It's madness. The addiction is real and it is strong.

Sictransitgloria · 12/07/2018 22:08

Hello gang, back on this thread for the tww.

@noseringgirl - think we are synced as I’m around 6-7dpo atm.

What have I missed? Any bfps? Congrats to those who have already got tgeir bfps if that’s the case Smile

CatRen27 · 12/07/2018 22:16

Thanks @treacle - early days!

Angelmiracle · 12/07/2018 22:16

Hi @Sictransitgloria I'm 5dpo today...patiently waiting 😩 How have you been?

Sictransitgloria · 12/07/2018 22:33

Hello @angelmiracle i’m ok thank you, attempting to quash my neurosis of symptom spotting lol. How are you? Keep patiently waiting :) fingers crossed for u.

NoseringGirl · 12/07/2018 22:50

We must have done @Sictransitgloria when are you planning on testing? Hope it's been a good 2WW so far with lots of random symptoms to keep you googling 🤣

Angelmiracle · 12/07/2018 22:56

@Sictransitgloria I'm good more chill this month. Really thought we had it last month the BFN really knocked me down a peg or two 😆

Sictransitgloria · 12/07/2018 23:04

@noseringgirl oh but of course. Been very good and not done too much of that this month. Been using the countdown to pregnancy thing. This month I am vowing not to poas until AF is due! Wonder if that will be a reality? 😂

@angelmiracle it’s hard when you are convinced that it’s your month. I thought it was mine too! Glad you’re feeling a bit more chill though 😁

Changingagain · 13/07/2018 06:44

noseringgirl I tried but it generally takes weeks to get him to talk when something's bothering him. He changed his mind by the time we went to bed anyway though so fx

NoseringGirl · 13/07/2018 08:21

Great news @Changingagain!

@Sictransitgloria good luck holding out! I've never managed that but I have no patience when it comes to POAS! I did manage to talk myself out of testing this morning at 7DPO though so I'm considering that a victory.

My RPR has been dropping even though my temps are holding steady. That's what happened before AF last month. Trying not to lose hope but it's not a great sign.

TheMagicTorch · 13/07/2018 09:03

@Noseringgirl well done for holding out this morning!

@Changingagain glad your DH changed his mind!

@sictransitgloria It's a great website isn't it - well done for waiting.
I gave in and tested yesterday and this morning. Negative but according to countdowntopregnancy I shouldn't test until tomorrow anyway. So trying to hold out hope but you know when you feel like it's just not your month.

Wishful30 · 13/07/2018 09:34

3dpo apparently- my nipples hurt 🤷🏻‍♀️ (sorry tmi)

I wonder how much of our symptom spotting is our minds playing tricks with us.

Slightly worried as my IBD has been real bad, so I'm now on prednisolone.
Been reading such conflicting evidence about steroids and conception.
My temperature is through the roof since ovulation, but I'm putting that down to all the inflammation and weather. I've never been able to rely on my temps.

How's everyone else doing with symptom spotting?

TheMagicTorch · 13/07/2018 09:37

@Wishful30 I took my bra off last night and I was like, my boobs feel so heavy!
But like you I wonder if it's our minds! Maybe I just want it so much I'm just seeing things that aren't necessarily there.
Sorry I can't give much advice re the steriods but I hope it works out for you, someone more in the know might be able to help Smile

DartmoorDoughnut · 13/07/2018 11:31

I think AF is due today and she hasn’t showed up yet but that website I linked to earlier says Sunday so I’m waiting to test for now - I’ve managed to not buy any more so I can’t try and line squint!

Hope everyone is ok

NoseringGirl · 13/07/2018 11:56

Well done to everyone holding out on testing!

@Wishful30 I can't help symptom spotting, I've been quite dizzy today which I think that countdown to pregnancy website said was more likely to be an AF symptom but it was something I noticed before my BFP with DS2. I know logically that 2WW symptoms tend to be caused by progesterone and happen whether it's AF or BFP. I can't switch off from analysing it all though!
I'm also hungrier than usual, getting cramps and backache and am tired. These are all pre AF symptoms for me though!

marthamay · 13/07/2018 12:46

oh man, getting so frustrated here. I'm 9dpo....today was the first day i resisted testing, because it was feeling a bit silly all this poas. I don't know why, but I feel like I'm out. The only symptoms I've had are this really, strong pulling/twisting/pinching sensations and cramps right down low in my pelvic area. Not feelings that are familiar at this time of the month - so that could be something (or it could be gas [hmmm]). But otherwise, all is sadly pretty normal so far. Keep checking out my nips to see if they've suddenly gone huge - I remember that from previous pg.

Question: do you chart your AF from the day you start spotting, or the day you have flow?

Changingagain · 13/07/2018 12:51

marthamay I chart it as first day of full flow but I'm never quite sure if it's right. I can spot for 2/3 days and then I'm lucky enough to have light periods. Some months the spotting can seem quite a lot and the flow very light so it can be difficult to call it.

NoseringGirl · 13/07/2018 16:19

I always chart CD1 as the first day of full flow. All the (many) apps I use only start a new cycle if you record it as that, spotting doesn't trigger a new cycle.

Newbie21 · 13/07/2018 16:56

I was always told day of full flow. Since my miscarriage my AF starts with two days of light spotting then sometimes a day of nothing then next day full flow and it is the full flow day that I count as day one.

mussie · 13/07/2018 17:42

I'm CD17 at the mo, and I started tracking CM on about day 9 - the curiosity overpowered my 'totally relaxed' ideals Grin it was creamy for a few days, then wet a few days, and then the past couple of days it has been so heavy and watery! Like I'm needing to wear liners, never had to do that. Is it normal for it to be so heavy? It's my first cycle off the pill for a good few years so I can't remember what's normal for me, but I'm sure it didn't used to be this heavy Hmm I suppose plentiful CM is a good thing, but it's really quite frustrating.

Also, am I right in thinking watery comes before EWCM? So should be expecting that from tomorrow ish...? Tried googling the sequence of CM but got conflicting answers
