@Pudding01 I totally get you!! It's our 3rd wedding anniversary tomorrow and I would love a bfp!
I actually have no idea when I ovd as I never got passed the flashing smiley before I ran out though 🤷🏼‍♀️

NoseringGirl · 03/07/2018 09:42

That would be lovely @Pudding01 Fx for you!

@Funkyemzie haha I'm sure he'll get to make up for it soon enough!

TheMagicTorch · 03/07/2018 09:42

@HidCat Yay!! Congratulations Flowers so exciting!

I'm only 2dpo and have a feeling this TWW is going to be a long one!!

MrsF88 · 03/07/2018 09:59

Hello all, and congratulations to all the BFP’s!

I’m new & this is our first month trying to conceive! I’m now 9dpo. I promised myself (& hubby!) that I wouldn’t think too much about it but it’s so hard!

I’m not very patient & the TWW is harder than I thought it would be!

Good luck to everyone on the July bus :-)

Delilah7 · 03/07/2018 10:10

@HidCat congratulations my dear!!!

Delilah7 · 03/07/2018 10:11

@NoseringGirl if I see that though am I fertile THEN or upcoming?

TheMagicTorch · 03/07/2018 10:15

@Pudding01 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

NoseringGirl · 03/07/2018 10:18

@Delilah7 it tends to happen before ovulation. It's the ideal environment for sperm to live in whilst waiting for ovulation. So when you see it, it's the best time to have sex.

Delilah7 · 03/07/2018 10:28

@NoseringGirl okay lovely. I defo notice a difference when I do as I'm not very messy down there normally 😂

HidCat · 03/07/2018 10:46

Thank everyone. Really hoping it's th start of another positive month, especially those who've been trying a while.

Hi everyone hope it's ok for me to join in. Ttc #2. Today is cd1 of cycle 4 and af due 28th July. Finding it really hard so far, we were very lucky conceiving DS and so this is really my first experience of the ttc rollercoaster! I have just had a really weird cycle so thought I might get my bfp but af arrived this morning. No opk or temping yet but tracking using ovia.
Congratulations @HidCat good luck everyone else

Treaclepie19 · 03/07/2018 11:51

Hi dragonmummy17 :)
I'm on cd1 and AF the 27th July so we can be cycle buddies!
I'm also not doing any tracking because I got very obsessed with it TTC my son.

Fingers crossed for everyone!

LivingOnAPear · 03/07/2018 14:58

Congrats to @HidCat and any other BFPs.

dragonmummy17 · 03/07/2018 15:32

Hi treaclepie19 great to have a cycle buddy. It's so hard not to obsess isn't it!

Changingagain · 03/07/2018 15:38

Congratulations hidcat

Seahawk80 · 03/07/2018 16:10

Hi all, just having a v quick catch up. Congrats @HidCat ! Fantastic news! Also any others that I have missed. Well I'm already out! Shortest TWW ever, on Saturday was thinking TWW starts tomorrow let's DTD one more time tonight, felt awful during dinner and thought if I didn't know better I'd say it was AF. Went to the loo and yep, AF had started so I've gone from 37-40 day cycles over the last few months to 28 days! Basically need to just DTD all the time next month as opks don't work for me and I'm so irregular. God knows how I'll find the energy!

HidCat · 03/07/2018 16:19

@Seahawk80 if you need to cover the whole month then go for every 2-3 days. Less pressure but means you're covered every day as sperm can live for a while.

@HidCat Congratulations I'm delighted for you after your year!! Really fx for a happy and healthy 9 months 😊🎉

Do you mind if I ask what was your routine this month? X

HidCat · 03/07/2018 17:21

Thanks @Angelmiracle we dtd every 2-3 days over the 2 weeks around anticipated ovulation. I temped to keep an eye on things and that was it. I was very chilled out this month and managed to not be stressed in work as well as just trying to enjoy life a bit so I think that helped.

trippingoverrainbows · 03/07/2018 17:23

@HidCat congratulations 🎉🎉🎉so pleased for you.

I'm on CD28, no AF and had a BFN a few days ago so will test again at the weekend if AF not shown up (long and irregular cycles suck)

Seahawk80 · 03/07/2018 17:39

@trippingoverrainbows know what you mean about the cycles. I had a couple of 60 day cycles while TTC DS- just awful

Thanks @HidCat I'll try that, might manage every 3.

On the plus side just had our offer accepted on the house we fell in love with over a month ago so still a pretty good week!

zoClueless · 03/07/2018 18:05

@HidCat Congratulations on the BFP!

I've just been catching up the last few days as haven't been online. Sorry for those who are out but I hope everyone's feeling positive for the next month.

I missed my surge with the cheapie OPKs but stopped testing now as I'm pretty sure I would have ovulated as I'm on CD31 now. We were meant to be doing SMEP but as I never got the pos opk it didn't happen but have managed to keep every other day with the occasional extra day off in between (some times it was just too hot to dtd!)

Anyway, think I'm going to do a FRER on Thursday as I'm out that evening and want to know whether I can have one glass of wine - mostly so people don't gossip about being potentially being pregnant, which is ridiculous as ideally I'd get a BFP and then not be able to drink anyway!

mussie · 03/07/2018 19:09

Congratulations @HidCat !! So exciting.

I know what you mean @zoClueless - I'm got a family gathering a few days after AF/BFP is due. If it's a BFP, I'd obviously be delighted, but too early to tell the family and they'd notice me not drinking! Thankfully I've been reading Expecting Better and I'm so much more at peace about the alcohol. The author did a literature review and found no evidence of any risk of one or two drinks a week in the first trimester, and a drink a DAY in the second and third trimesters. So I might have a half pint, and that should suitably con them. Of course I'll read the literature myself first as well, but it's certainly promising Smile

Pudding01 · 03/07/2018 19:21

Hi. So I had a smiley face positive smiley around lunch time and it's back to nothing now.. Does this mean I've lost my chance already?? Hubby isn't back until late as he's watching football 😭😭

oakleywhite · 03/07/2018 20:09

Hi all,
I'm just jumping on this bus. It's our first month ttc. I expect to ovulate in 2 days so lots of BD'ing. I'm so excited to start trying after so long waiting to get to this point. I feel like my expectations of how quick it'll happen may be unrealistic! X
