July Bus

Hey everyone,
I'm out for June so on CD1 and expecting AF to turn up around July 7th. Here's hoping for a lucky bus! 🍀 🚌

I’m due Thursday. So hard not to symptom spot. Been convincing myself I have sensitive boobs, checking knickers for spotting and analysing every twinge. Started to feel a bit nauseous today but don’t know if it’s wishful thinking. Was going to try and be strong and wait for missed period but about to get home from hen weekend away and my tests will be tempting me to wee on them

@ClaryFray sorry to hear about spotting. Fingers crossed it’s implantation.
I’d forgotten about caramacs and now want one too.

@Spottyyellowdress I get nosebleeds as a period symptom so try not to get too excited/ worried just in case. Also felt rough this morning, light headed, nausea and stinking headache. Hay fever and humidity seem to be the cause. Just don't keel over from an aneurism please!

@spottyyellowdress hope you feel better soon. My hayfever has been horrendous today. I'm just starting the TWW and have promised myself I won't test early after the heartbreak last month. Going to be tough!

AF has arrived this morning so that makes a 23 day cycle, a bit better than last month we can start trying soon!

Hi, how is everyone doing, I'm 7dpo and analysing every breath I take twinge. I have, even DH agrees, one massive boob for some reason (we have named it Munster) so no idea what that's about! Will test Sunday at 12dpo (only because I'm on holiday and don't want to miss the bloody wine tasting!)

@BlueArtemis I'm also on my first cycle and have gone similarly mad - I'm thinking of it like a interesting, high stakes new hobby!

Wondering if you can help with my motivation...
so I've just come off my period for my third cycle, nothing happened as of yet in these cycles.
I don't want to use OPK's yet I want to try enjoy it and relax with it abit more. Flo tells me my ovulation date is in 8 days time. Surely that's not right? isn't it 14 days 'normally' after your period? X

@Delilah7 I think if you have a regular 28 day cycle it is usually cycle day 13/14. The first day of the cycle being the first day of your period.

@Delilah7 it can vary a lot from woman to woman. It depends on the length of your overall cycle and the length of your luteal phase (the part of the cycle after ovulation which is pretty much the same every month). The average is a 28 day cycle and a 14 day luteal phase which is why it's often thought that women ovulate on day 14 of a cycle.
For me, my cycle is usually around 26 days and my luteal phase is only 10 days so I tend to ovulate on cycle day 16.

@Delilah7 I thought I ovulated 14 cycle day of 28 day cycle but OPKs told me I actually ovulate the 10th or 11th cycle day. I understand not wanting to use OPKs though. You could always try and track CM?

Morning everyone, goin to be a July bus wanker (excuse the expression it's affectionate I promise 😂) af arrived in all her horrible glory this morning so cd1 of 11 (5 since mc) but feeling positive this month!

Had a little meltdown and a bit of a cry on OH last night and feel really cleansed and clear today. Got alot of work to do at the new house (we moved in a couple of weeks ago) its an old house so it will take a while and work is busy so quite a bit to keep me occupied.

Just don't wanna get obsessed and start using OPKS plus think it'll put DH off if he sees me testing and planning etc.
I did have some strange cm near my ovulation last time that was ( tmi ) clear and stringy which I've heard is a good sign! So fingers crossed it'll show again this month.

@Funkyemzie sorry for AF! Glad you're feeling better today, a good cry is needed sometimes. Not sure you'll have much luck if you're a bus wanker though, solo action doesn't tend to get you up duffed 😜

@Delilah7 that sounds like fertile CM. It's a good way of keeping track of things if you don't want to get into all the test. I'm way too far gone with it now, I do everything 🙈

Pointless post, but I got my positive ovulation test today, on CD13, 5 days earlier than last month! 🙈 But it's my 4th wedding anniversary tomorrow and if we actually conceive tomorrow, how perfect would that be? 😭🙏🏻
Luckily I'm following SMEP this cycle, so we BD last night and will be for the next 3 days too (hopefully). Keep your fingers crossed for me girls; cycle 10 could be the one 🙌🏻
