I'm out for June so on CD1 and expecting AF to turn up around July 7th. Here's hoping for a lucky bus! 🍀 🚌

I understand that if the test line on an OPK is fainter than the control line the test is negative but there was no line at all yesterday, does that mean it's nearly positive - so if I test again this evening it might be positive - or is it just a false test?

Although if it is positive, it's far too hot to DTD!!! Hope everyone is surviving in this heat xxxx

@lazydaisy99 mine tend to go from nothing then light lines get darker over a couple of days but I know that’s not the same for everyone! Keep testing around the same time each day and you might see it get darker over the course of the week.

OPKs are doing my head in at the moment. CD23 and still not positive Started SMEP on CD8!!!
This afternoons was getting there so I'm going to test again when I get home and hope for a positive again. I'm off on hols on 11 July was hoping for bfp/af before then so any potential af doesn't interfere with all the swimming (aka lounging around the pool and dipping in every two hours to float about for a bit...)

Spent over £40 yesterday on bloody clearblue OPKs plus pre-seed lube because hey, what could be more sexy than shoving a syringe of jelly up your hooha just before sex?

I HATE TTC.

@JustLikeTheySaid sorry that made me laugh! I remember doing that in desperation when TTC DS1. That and the clomid made things a lot drier always worth a shot!

Morning everyone! Welcome to the newcomers and good luck! How are we all doing today? I know there's a few of us in the TWW, when are we all testing? I don't plan to test until at least the weekend. but only if I cave and buy a FRER as I only have standard strength tests.

@Noseringgirl I am not holding out any hope. I feel really sure there is something wrong so nothing will help but that is really pessimistic so then I get cross with myself. The preseed isn't really meant to help but it can't make things any worse...

@zoClueless I’ve got the opposite problem! 5th day of bloody positive OPKs now...normally lucky if I get a fleeting glimpse at one!

I'm feeling good this morning, today is CD8 so SMEP officially starts today. First time using OPKs this month too. Fingers crossed everyone

Having been reading way too many of people's stories lately. Have you taken and pregnancy test?
Sounds silly I know, but so many people have said the positive opk's is how they found out. Even after tonnes of bfn and what they thought was af. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤞🏻

I'm off to the fertility clinic tomorrow. Be starting in the Clomid this time.
I am a bit confused as to why tho so I need them to clarify.
My cycle is 27/28days. I ovulate day 14/15
Couldn't be much more standard.
I'm getting help due to low egg count and my eggs aren't as good a quality as they can be. So i assume the Clomid helps ripen the egg?
But I've only read that it makes you ovulate. Which we have proven with bloods that I do. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sorry I haven't been on here much! I've been trying not to obsess about TTC this month so have been giving myself a bit of a break from posting on here.

Around 8DPO but not really in with a chance of BFP this cycle as didn't DTD enough or at right times, but hoping to see some BFPs popping up on here soon!

Not really sure how many dpo I am or even if I've ovulated yet 🤷🏼‍♀️
I tried OPKs for the first time but it was still a flashing smiley on Saturday and then I ran out of sticks and dh has been away from Sunday until today 🤷🏼‍♀️

We dtd on cd 10,11,13 & hoping to do it again tonight just in case I am only just ovulating.

So I am trying to be really sensible in that I doubt there is much chance this month but I'm can feel that little bit of hope creeping back in!

How is everyone else?

We are almost finished smep (fun, hopefully effective and also quite intensive!) and the CBDM worked brlliantly this month since I actually ovulate 2 days earlier than I thought.

Now it's just a waiting game. I'm off on holiday next Friday (without DH) so will test with a FRER on Skype with him on Sunday/Monday...then I'll know if I can have a drink and eat all the foods!

@Wishful30 sorry AF has arrived. A new month starts with a new opportunity for a BFP though

I always get very jealous of people already in the 2WW, I've only just finished AF and am waiting a few days before I can start OPKs. I have quite short cycles so I shouldn't complain but so much waiting still!
I don't always ovulate so I find this part a little stressful.

WaitingforDaffodils 🤞 for you lovely. Did you start the Clear Blue OPKs on CD10?
I've never used them before, and I know SMEP says to start at CD10 so unsure.

@noseringGirl that does sound tough, hope the wait goes quickly for you.

AF finished for me yesterday, the day it should have been starting and I've booked an appointment to see the GP next week about the possibility of PCOS.

Good luck with your appointment @Changingagain. I have PCOS, it is a pain but I'm getting better at managing it. Hope you can get somewhere with the GP!

Thanks NoseringGirl I made an appointment to discuss it nearly 4 years ago and in the time between booking it and attending it I got my BFP for Ds so the appointment was pleasantly highjacked. No chance of that this time though with AF only just out of the way. I really should have seen the doctor about it around a decade ago

@Changingagain I was only diagnosed after my DS1 was born and he was a clomid baby so it was impressive that it was missed even though I needed treatment. I had metformin when TTC DS2 and didn't need the clomid. I'm trying without anything this time, just a low GI diet. Definitely worth seeing a doctor and getting it investigated!
