9dpo been testing since day 5 because I'm addicted :-) do others see this hint of a line?? Been feeling nauseous all day and weird tingling boobs past couple of days and super tired (but been up early for work lots this week...) Had a previous MC at 11 weeks so am SO SCARED. Do you see something? What I think I can see is pink and came up within a few minutes...

Is this really it??!!

Huge congrats!!

CuppaTeaAndAJammieDodger · 29/04/2018 14:57

Yay!

StargazyDrifter · 29/04/2018 15:06

OMG!!! Amazing!!!! Super thrilled to see this and no reason whatsoever to think that lightning would strike twice, as you said, hard to be that unlucky. Keep shortlisting those names! 😉

RLOU88 · 29/04/2018 15:08

YEY! So lovely seeing the words isn’t it !? Congratulations x

StargazyDrifter · 29/04/2018 15:21

@sprinkleofsunshine, totally with you. Don't rule it out until after AF due date, that's NHS advice too. These things are a bit fluid and mild cramps can be both PMS and implantation/early stretching. Symptoms are meant to come and go early on. I keep telling myself that anyway! Fingers crossed, let us know how you're doing. 🍀

Heartofglass12345 · 29/04/2018 15:22

Ahh i remember the feeling like it was yesterday and mine are 2.5 and 4 years old now! Congratulations Grin

KnitKitty · 29/04/2018 15:34

Congratulations SophieStripe!!! :D

sprinkleofsunshine · 29/04/2018 15:37

Thank you @StargazyDrifter good to know symptoms are suppose to come & go. I didn't know that. I am already feeling a bit deflated which is ridiculous as it's only my first month ttc number 1 and I said at the outset we will just see what happens. It's so consuming though!

Fx for you also!

sprinkleofsunshine · 29/04/2018 15:38

Congratulations @SophieStripe how exciting!

Okaynowimconfused · 29/04/2018 15:40

A massive congratulations to you! Smile

jacobsgirl · 29/04/2018 15:43

Congratulations! Best of luck 💕

SophieStripe · 29/04/2018 16:25

Thank you!!! Still can't quite believe it. Desperate to tell people but going to wait until Weds/Thurs to be sure period doesn't show up. Last time I was so cautious about not telling people till 12 weeks. Now I want to shout it from the rooftop! (well, my family and 2 best mates).

Stargazeydrifter and sprinkle I'm staying with u! We all still have Thursday as our day! I've been feeling mildly nauseated today but nothing like Friday. From my last pregnancy (albeit ended badly) my symptoms fluctuated wildly and read that was normal. In any case its sooo early I wouldn't read too much into symptoms coming and going. Fingers crossed for all

Congratulations Sophie!! So pleased for you yay!!! Clear blue always the best one to confirm I swear by it after my experience! Flowers x

MaverickSnoopy · 29/04/2018 19:14

Congratulations!

You know I always get a weaker line with fmu. No idea why! Very random but afternoon tests or late morning tests have always given me the strongest of lines.

SophieStripe · 29/04/2018 20:11

Maverick that's so weird... But I have read that before on another forum. With my previous pregnancy I got positive on CB digital at CD 26 in the evening so wonder if I am the same... I only ever took one test that time around though - didn't know about trying to get pregnant at all!! 😂

Well I'm def out, af has turned up! Onto the next month I guess! It does mean I can drink this weekend I suppose. Fx for you @StargazyDrifter hope it's your month! And good luck with everything @SophieStripe x

CollyWombles · 30/04/2018 07:33

Always a weaker line with FMU too, I have 4 DC! Testing with the second mu, always stronger results. Congratulations!

StargazyDrifter · 30/04/2018 08:18

Definitely out too. AF turned up 3 or 4 days early and is so painful it woke me up in the middle of the night; crossed my mind if it might be a very early MC given the positive FRER on Friday, but kind of academic.

Onwards and upwards @speinkleofsunshine!

@SophieStripe, all the very best! You've been such a brilliant companion in these bizarre few days.xx

SophieStripe · 30/04/2018 10:54

So sorry guys....but onwards and upwards. It WILL happen for you! I feel very flippant saying that as I know how hard it is to believe it. But it will. Next month will be the month! I'm still not relaxing completely until at least Thursday (well, when I say completely I mean a tiny bit!) but currently zero signs of period showing. I would normally get spotting a day or two before... Period is due tomorrow night/Wednesday morning. Stargazey do u normally get so much pain? Is it worth going to docs? If it is an early MC/chemical as u say all academic now but sometimes it's good to know these things os u can process it mentally. Not sure if the docs would actually be able to tell though. Keep coming back here and tell us what happens!

StargazyDrifter · 30/04/2018 21:16

Thank you, that's awfully kind and gently reassuring. I don't usually get any pain so pretty sure this isn't 'normal', even factoring in PCOS. I walked past the GP today but thought better of making an appt. On reflection perhaps I should, both for peace of mind and it would also help build a picture for any fertility intervention in future, if needed, I suppose. I'm kind of hopeful for next cycle, no reason at all, but hopeful because things seem to be working again.

You'll be absolutely fine on Thursday, Sophie, and don't forget to savour every moment. The whole delight and worry of it, the knowing and not quite knowing, that's what it's made of. Do come back and let us kniw how you're doing too.

SophieStripe · 30/04/2018 21:44

I will do.

Stargazey do you do OPK and BBT? And use an app? I only ask because after my MC before I stated doing all three things. Got pregnant first time stupidly quickly and easily, embarrassingly I couldn't even tell the Midwife how long my cycles usually are. After MC and I started tracking I noticed the patterns and each month things clearly getting back to normal. This cycle was the first one I genuinely thought this could really happen this time because everything was so normal. It was the 5th cycle after MC. So there definitely could be something in what you are saying, if you feel normal again likelihood is everything is good now and the right environment to make a baby. Fingers crossed for u in a couple of weeks time starting another two week wait! That's all it is, a few weeks! And at least u can have some beers over the bank hol ☺

StargazyDrifter · 30/04/2018 22:39

I usually do OPKs, which aren't always great with PCOS but seem to work for me, and have just ordered OvuSense too (essentially a thermometer). Have also wasted no time in having a glass of wine with dinner tonight. This is my cycle 4 so fingers crossed next one's the lucky one!

Have you managed not to tell anyone yet? I cracked really quickly last time and will probably do again next time!
