I am sort of similar Mumof monsters in that I don't chart. I tried ovulation sticks for awhile but only got a positive ovulation result in one month out of the 3 I tried them for. The positive result was when I expected it to be in my cycle.

My cycles were bang on 28 days when I conceived my first child, or at least I think they were as I didn't really monitor them that closely at that time!

They are now a bit more irregular in that I tend to get my period anywhere between 24 and 28 days but most months it has been on day 26.

I have just been adopting the approach of BDing every other day from around day 8 of my cycle up to day 20 and we try to do it every day between day 10 to day 14 although most months we have not managed to achieve that.

I have been trying for nearly a year and me and DH are going to ask for the early tests from a GP next week. If they come back normal I am planning to up the anty on TTC and get into the charting business.

spook, grapefruit juice helps with ewcm and this is a good calender! how long have you been ttc for?

hi girls - CD15 for me. Lots of tummy twinges and sore boobs but not much EWCM.

went on babyhope's ovulation calendar thingy and it told me exactly the same dates for trying for a boy and a girl - scam!!

beginning to see the attraction of OPKs / temping now - at least you know when you HAVE ovulated and can put your feet up for the 2ww. I'm going to spend the next week thinking

tonight might be the night" And then die of exhaustion and sore laydee bits

Can I join too? I was on the 'are you on your two week wait' thread last month but AF showed up! Am now on cd 11, trying ov sticks just to see when ov occurs as well as monitoring cm. Am away with dh for weekend leaving dd with grandma - what good timing eh?!!

cool tinbus, I do feel very much now like i have an ally in the ttc game in terms of us being no longer spring chickens, hope you don't mind me saying that!

as i am approaching the one year point after this cycle i am going to get some tests done with dh to see what the state of play is.

I think you said you conceived your DD quickly as did i with DS. Hopefully we will both get there in the end with no.2 but in meantime it is nice meeting you on here.

so he either going to have an early wake up call, or a late late night...

we haven't actually gone for test yet, i'll see in another 3 mths or so, if nothing happens then we wil go and see... which i please i hope i woundnt like to go that route as my cousin is busy with tcc with assistance, for the last 2 years, every month i hold my breath for her, i feel her pain...

Poblet, I'd already added a day on to everyone earlier on, and 2 on to me cos it was wrong! Not sure on everyone else now? But you are right - whoever is first "in" in the morning should add a day on to everyone....
