New thread...

OP posts:
Gracie14 · 23/08/2007 14:21

Rattling - I'm so sorry Somebody is playing tricks with us, thought temping would end the agony of getting our hopes up and then look what happens! So sorry again, ((hugs)) to you. Take care

rattling · 23/08/2007 16:08

All that pressure is now on you Gracie. Hoping for another temp hike tomorrow.

I'm feeling okay - cramps kicked in big style along with AF, but I've found some pills and just loving the lack of pain.

Got to get pregnant next month as just worked out DH will be away at the essential time in October.

Also was very keen on a May baby - could still do it

Do I sound too up? - perhaps a touch too much codeine

RahRah1 · 23/08/2007 16:29

Maybe you did take a bit too much codeine! Sod it you deserve it!

Ready · 23/08/2007 17:18

Oh bum. So sorry rattling

RahRah1 · 23/08/2007 17:30

Great my husband just call me, he parked his car on a hill and did not put it in gear and an hour after he left the car it decided to just roll down the hill and smash into another car. An insurance company job!!!!!!GRRRRRRRR
The excess is about £250 alone...
I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!!!!!

Ready · 23/08/2007 17:49

OMG!!!!

Gracie14 · 23/08/2007 18:48

Rah - Thats awful I bet your husband was shocked.

RahRah1 · 23/08/2007 19:01

Right he is home.

This is how it happened:

  1. Parked his car
  2. Had been in the office when someone came in and said his car had gone into their car but they had to go as was late for a clients meeting.
  3. He went out to the car and all looked OK with his car and nothing was moving so he left it where it had rolled too.
  4. He was talking to the MD and someone came running in saying his car had crashed into another car!
  5. This time the car has all the front smashed and the other persons car is smashed at the front.
  6. therefore we have to sort out three cars
  7. We husband has been certified STUPID!!
  • It was not long ago he put unleaded in his diesel car and we had to pay to get the engine cleaned out! GRRR

Gracie - CD1 36.39 LP12 (12th cycle)
Rattling - ° CD2 LP10 (21st cycle)
Rah - ° CD8 LP12 (10th cycle)
NappyValley - ° CD18 LP9 (14th cycle)
ZamMummy - ° CD18 ov today? LP11 (6th cycle since MC, 2nd cycle TTC)
Thinking ? ° CD63 LP12 (1st cycle/Limbo Land)

I knew AF was going to happen so I'm not too down about it - which has to be a first for me.

Rah - Men are so stupid I think you should make him walk from now on

I'm going to spend this weekend having a nice glass or four of wine and then focus on this month being a mammoth bding month - my DP isn't going to know whats hit him .

Rattling - I know what you mean about a May baby, what a lovely month - lets all focus positive vibes for May/June babies and hope we all manage to catch this cycle

Ready · 24/08/2007 15:47

I know it isn't funny. But can you imagine being in the vicinity when it happened? This car just rolling down the road - it's out of a film scene isn't it! Are you going to have to pay 2 lots of excess cos it's 2 claims??

Ready · 24/08/2007 15:50

Gracie - Chuckled at your "glass or four" Go for it!!

RahRah1 · 24/08/2007 17:28

Sorry Gracie! Watch out this month Gracies DP!

I would love a June baby, my birthday is in June and always loved having my birthday then. Plus it would be a great birthday pressie!

My husband is officially STUPID! I think the excess is the same regardless of how many cars are involved. He has organised hire cares for him and the other person and we have to pay deposits for these and then pay an excess for the claim on our policy. GRRR I know its because he was not concentrating. Maybe something to do with losing a few brain cells at the V festival. What he called a lost weekend! Bloody hell! I'm SOOOOOOO annoyed with him, but he keeps getting angry when I try and have a go, so whats the point!

Ready · 24/08/2007 17:42

I am officially insensitive aren't I? So sorry Gracie - I was having a ditzy moment earlier, didn't realise the significance of the alcohol . Fingers crossed for this cycle.

Rah - That's good. I thought because it was 2 seperate incidents. Pleased you don't have to pay twice. Insurance companies can be a nightmare. Some ridge pointing fell off our roof and smashed a hole in the conservatory, and they tried to charge us 2 lots of excess, because they said that the ridge tiles was one issue, and the resulting damage was separate. After I kicked up a stink we didn't have to pay either It pays to complain sometimes.

Ready · 24/08/2007 17:46

Rah - Try not to stress yourself out about it. I know it's not really what you need right now, but it has happened, and there is no sense in upsetting yourself. Count to 10. ((hugs))

RahRah1 · 24/08/2007 18:28

Thanks Ready. He has just really annoyed me as I have said over and over again I really needed a holiday and he kept putting it off. He's been to Poland (stag do), Wales to see his mum x 2 and the V festival and 4 bloody weddings and still no holiday. I understand he wanted to go on all of them etc... but surely I come first after what we have been through. Now he is saying that Sept is out as he is too busy with work. The first two weeks in Oct my parents are in USA, so I need to be available to run the business and then we will be moving house two weeks after that. I just can't see us being able to fit in a holiday in Oct. Then its Bertie's birthday in Nov, so defo need to be in this country as need to be close to him and then the treatment is due to start. I am getting very P*ssed off with him!
It looks like the only way I will get a holiday is the first week in Oct, so that means compromising the business and just leaving it on answering machine for a week, or employing someone to answer the phone. It always seems to be me and my interests that have to fit around him and me having to break my agreements if we need to do anything. Basically the no way he would let them down at his work, but thinks its OK for me to turn round and say I'm off for a week, when it was agreed between me and my dad that we would cover each other. GRRRRRRRRRR Has anyone got a husband they want to swap?

RahRah1 · 25/08/2007 22:29

Hope everyone is having a good weekend... Nice weather!

I'm a bit tippy.... so hope you have all had a glass or two!

Have fun Xx

Gracie14 · 26/08/2007 12:14

Ready - Don'y worry its fine - the wine worked well yesterday had a lovely relaxing day and don't have a hangover today either which is good Hope your having a good weekend.

Rah - Glad your enjoying the wine - sorry you were feeling down about the holiday I know what you mean about DP and work, mine is the same - he would drop everything for work and I'm sure if I asked him to do it for me the answer would be no! I would do you a swap but you'd get much the same I'm afraid and I need him for a few important dates this cycle . Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Hi to everybody else

Ready · 26/08/2007 12:20

Bit perplexed. 14dpo, temp still high-ish. tell tale cramps but still no sign of CD1. We weren't actively ttc this month because of the HSG, and my temps indicate ovulation a few days before any sex.

So... spontaneous ovulation at a later time in my cycle? Or has the HSG affected this cycle more than I thought it would? Or has the B6 in the pregnacare lengthened my LP from 12 to 14? Answers on a postcard.

Hope everyone is ok.

Gracie14 · 26/08/2007 12:28

Gracie - CD3 36.56 LP12 (12th cycle)
Rattling - ° CD4 LP10 (21st cycle)
Rah - ° CD10 LP12 (10th cycle)
NappyValley - ° CD20 LP9 (14th cycle)
ZamMummy - ° CD20 LP11 (6th cycle since MC, 2nd cycle TTC)
Thinking ? ° CD65 LP12 (1st cycle/Limbo Land)

Just updating temp

Ready - Not to sure I'm afraid. Could ovulation have been later?

RahRah1 · 26/08/2007 13:50

OMG Ready... this is what happened to me after I had my lap and dye. I thought there would be no way I could be pregnant, so did not consider it. But low and behold I was! I think a test is in order! If your not how weird would this be that the whole thread got super long LP's this month!
My friend did say to me that she knew quite a few people who had their tubes looked at and bobs your uncle they catch that month! I reckon the procedure must clear the way..

Gracie... LOL... you make me laugh! Shame about the husband swapping!

Weather is gorgeous here, so out in the garden.. have fun and play safe!

Ready · 26/08/2007 16:06

Rah - I have bumped the "plotting a pregnancy" thread, which has my chart on it. Let me know what you think! I just don't know what to think.

Gracie - Pleased I didn't come across as totally unsupportive! And glad that the wine did some good

The weather is fab isn't it!!

RahRah1 · 26/08/2007 16:44

Hi Ready

Had a look at your chart, the only couple of things are:

  1. You don't seem to normally ovulate that early. CD14 - when do you normally ovulate?

  2. The temps are quite low on CD15 & 16

Maybe ovulation is a couple of days out? DO you do OPK?

I hope its not though and you are! As if your ovulation was later then your sex was well timed and you could be...!!!!!!

Rainbowdays · 26/08/2007 17:25

Ready - I agree with Rah, it could well be that you did not ov until as late as cd17, making you only 12dpo today, but if you want a way to make af arrive and put yourself out of your misery: the solution is to go against your 'religion' () and do a test, always guarenteed me to get af within a very short time afterwards!!!! (ofcourse secretly I am hoping for another outcome!)

Rah - Hope you forgive me, but I PMSL when I read about your wonderfully silly dh! Only a man could be so stupid! (no offence to any men reading this!!!)

Ready · 26/08/2007 18:05

Thanks for looking at my chart girls. I don't feel pregnant, and I won't be testing until 18dpo, I guess my HSG has affected my ovulation this month. It'll teach me to be so lazy with my temps won't it!

Since I have been charting my ovulation day has varied quite a bit...15,15,16,16,19,14,16,20,16,15,14(?) - assuming that my interpretations (and FF) are correct of course. So with the exception of a 19 and a 20, both have explanations, 15 and 16 are the norm for me.

Looks like this month has been The Long Luteal Phase Month for us tempers

Thanks for listening to me waffle.

nomoremagnolia · 26/08/2007 18:16

oohh ready
