New thread...

OP posts:
Thinking · 17/07/2007 16:17

Gracie, I have low temps and cramps and will properly (hopefully ?) start AF in the next week or so. I want a normal length cycle if possible this month.

RahRah1 · 17/07/2007 16:44

Hi all... hope everyone is OK. Will be back laters to catch up.

I had a CD2 blood test, what is that for anyone know? Cheers X

NappyValley · 17/07/2007 17:10

I had one on monday too! Mine was to check 2 things, but mainly oestrogen levels and something else but I could not read docs handwriting on the lab sheet, so lets hope the technitians can. I spent 1 hr queuing for blood test at hospital as surgery can only fit you in for a blood test with about 2 weeks notice!! Yeah if I knew when AF was going to show that precisely I wouldn't need the test because I would be PREGNANT. AAAARRGG

OK rant over.

Ready · 17/07/2007 17:43

Evening all. Referral appointment today. Went really well, consultant was lovely. Top notch. Has requested that I have an HSG. He didn't mention a Laparascopy, so I am wondering if that means I won't need one. Fingers crossed. The idea of a general anaesthetic scares the bejesus out of me. He said that assuming that my tubes are open then it's only a matter of time. Hey ho. At least the ball is rolling and I am on the books

How is everyone this evening? Sick to the back teeth of all the rain yet? I know I am. We had HAIL today - I mean for crying out loud, what is up with the weather!!

Rah - I have heard of Day3 tests, which are usually to check the level of the FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) - I tell you who you need, Atilla... she'll know

Nappy - I don't believe in turns... if I did, then I would be mightily peeved, as I think I have missed my slot on more than one occasion - It'll happen, if, and when it's meant to. How are you after your long wait in the blood queue. When I went to get mine the other day, you have to take little tickets like at the deli counter

Minxi - Big hugs. Totally understand the need for a break from temping. I hope that all is well. And if I find myself down your way I will take you up on your offer of a coffee and a chat... remember that? You can't back out now

Everyone else... how's tricks?

Gracie14 · 17/07/2007 18:40

Evening,

Ready - Pleased that everything is getting moving for you . Your right about the weather. Took the dog for a walk and it was sunny just as I'd walked about a mile and the rain suddenly came - dog thought it was fun though just me that looked like a drowned rat

Thinking - Lets hope this cycle does work out for you, I've got a headache a sign AF is on its way - so looks like cycle 11 is looming for me

Hi to evertybody else

fettleandminifettle · 17/07/2007 21:34

Hi All

Just popping in - hopefully rubbing my tummy on the screen for you all.

Rah and Ready, so glad you've got referrals and treatment all lined-up - keeping everything crossed for you.

Hello everyone else - hope you don't mind me popping in.

big hugs.
xxx

Thinking · 18/07/2007 08:22

Rah and Ready, Hope your respected appointment bear fruit very soon. Keep us posted on your progress

Hi fettleandminifettle, I am assuming you are a graduate of this thread...Nic eto met you and thank you for leaving some baby dust here for everyone, I'm saving mine until next month ;)

Gracie14, I am in the same boat as you...but your temps are better It is hard not to feel down as AF approaches but it does mark the beginning of a new cycle and we can drink and eat unsuitable food (if we wish) whilst we are reassured we are not pregnant. I'm still quietly confidant about your chart

minxi, Have a nice break, keep on lurking and when you are ready come back.

alinjosh - hi! I am by no means an expert, but I would have to say that I think that your chart is not showing any ovulation?? Annovulatory cycles can happen occasionally. Or if you did I would have put ov at around day 14. But it is not clear as the temps are a bit rocky. I hth?

My temp shot up today, the first time it has ever happened so dramatically, so just a couple more days before ff hopefully confirms late ov for me at cd16. It does not really tie in with the other ov signs but I will just have to wait and see. I guess the m/c could have delayed it a bit.

Ready - did not get the email!!!

Gracie - I think that you might not be right , but sorry you are feeling

Well ff has put me at 3dpo, the big temp hike this month was unmistakable I guess. So only another week of misery to go. However I will be very very careful with avoiding paints etc until I know, I am blaming myself a little for the m/c after doing loads of painting and heavy lifting in the house. I know it was very unlikely related, but can't help wondering.

Rah - how are you? Are you feeling better?

NappyValley · 20/07/2007 10:22

No temps for me as have lost thermometer on wednesday! But it all seems fairly normal.

Have checked FF and Operation Shag appears to be timed for exactly when we are away on a Christian kids camp!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luckily we are in the parents block as 4 families have toddlers, but even so, I am not sure we will be up for it. I have said I don't care and I am not giving up for a month jst cos DH is embaressed. BUT the good news is we will be TT that week and will be more relaxed!

Had letter from infertility clinci who offered me appointment for start of Aug which was great, except DH says he is too busy to take time off to go until September!!! Still I guess there is no urgency. I thought it would take months to get an appointment.

Rah/Ready hope all hospital related stuff going OK.

Fettle - nice to hear from you. Thansk for the baby dust.

Feeling low at the mo not sure why. Could ne hormones on the move I suppose. But LP9 is getting me dwon I think.

A high temp for me... someone slap me before I start to wonder what it could mean!!!

Rainbowdays - I have tried sending it 3 times , what shall I do now?? Hope you are ok? It's natural to wonder "why" - but you can't blame yourself, isn't it something like 25% of pregnancies miscarry??

NappyValley - I don't think it is imperitive that your DH goes with you to the appointment, obviously it's nice if they can, but the appointment is really only for the woman. If any abnormalities were found in the semen analysis, I think that the men have to make their own appointments anyway. Well, that is what I had been led to believe when I thought DH wasn't going to be able to make it to mine. Best to get in the system I reckon?
I had to chuckle at the thought of Operation Shag at the Christian Camp

Gracie - Sorry you think the game is almost up this month. Big hugs. Hang in there chick.

Big hello to everyone else.

RahRah1 · 20/07/2007 11:52

HI everyone

God the rain is getting RIDICULOUS!!!! & so bloody depressing!

I went out yesterday shopping and every other person was either pregnant or had a baby grrrr... Even my friend ended up saying something as she was overwhelmed by it.. she could not believe there was so many pregnant people. Also bumped into a friend that I have not seen for years and she was about 7 months pregnant and asked if I had any kids and did I want any etc etc... did not want to say I had a baby as obviously she was pregnant and it might of been upsetting to burst someones bubble of it going wrong. But that hurt as well and she kept rubbing her tummy - soooooooo
I hate feeling like this ....

Sounds like everyone one here is feeling it a bit too.

Rainbow, I know its easy to look for reasons and blame, but honestly it was not your fault. I could quote lots of facts and figures at you, but I know what its like, you search for a reason and often that reason ends up being blaming yourself and guilt. {{{HUGS}}}}

Nappy - I'm laughing already at the thought of you guys catching a quickie at Christian kids camp... what will the vicar say! OH AR Vicar! LOL

fettleandminifettle - nice to hear from you.. how you doing?

Gracie - sorry to hear AF is on her way for you!

I will be back in a bit as working from home today... The rain is too bad!

I have a wedding tomorrow, so hopefully the rain will lift, I bet when she booked her wedding she would never of guessed the crappy weather!

Hello to everyone.... XX

RahRah1 · 20/07/2007 11:55

Crossed post with you Ready... Hope everything is OK and will answer your mail today... sorry for the delay...been busy and crap this week!

Chuckled at the fact you chuckled at the operation camp shagging with Nappy! LOL
