May Bus

I know a few people will unfortunately be joining me eventually so I figured I'd get this bus going.
My cycles are crazy and averaging 60 days and I don't think I've ovulated yet so I'm out for April.

TTC: #1
Cycle: #4 (month 8)
CD: #25

Not holding much hope for conception at the moment but I've got to wait until August anyway.
Such an optimistic person to start the new bus!

My boyfriend actually made a good point today are opks actually accurate? Came off the pill a year ago been using clearblue opks for six months now im getting high and peak days sometimes i get 6 high days sometimes two before peak. I make sure we have sex on them days and the months when i get six high days we have sex every other day then make sure we have sex on peak day. And still not pregnant! Started taking vit b6 three week ago hopefuly it helps. Got an appointment with Doctors tomorrow hoepfuly they can shed some light x

I think the peak means ovulation will happen within the next 48hrs (correct me someone because I'm new to opk). So you should dtd for three days in a row once you get the peak.

@Alex2790 I fell out of love with opks really quickly as I wasn’t getting a smile or even a smirk! I’m going to try taking my bbt for the next month religiously. I think I will struggle with that too though as I’m such a restless sleeper I think my temps will go up and down. But, if the bbt thing is a success I should hopefully be able to work out when to use a opk? I also heard that even if we have sex when ovulating there is still only a 25% chance of conceiving. Fx for everyone. I am due af on Tuesday and luckily the Superdrug near me doesn’t sell frer and only stocks clear blue (which I have heard are unreliable). So my bank balance is fairly stable! Haha!

Does anyone use preseed? Is it cheaper to buy on line? Is there a particular brand that people can recommend? I wasn’t going to go to this level, but we’ve been ttc for 10 months now with not even a glimpse of joy. X

I am officially a fool. I thought the static smiley meant that I was ovulating right there and then, so I didn't take the delay into account. So wasted a fortune on tests and I'm still only ten or eleven dpo arghhhhh!! Goi g on holiday on Wednesday, just want to know one way or the other by then!

Looks like the below was either a false positive or a chemical, just started spotting going to convince myself that it was a rubbish test as don't think I can cope with another positive gone wrong.

@Owlpatrol nightmare! The same th no happened to my Mum with CT scan results but they did turn up eventually. I hope they find them rather than having to do them again.

@Alex2790 it is possible to have more than one peak in a month so opks are better for guidance than anything else. Try sex every 2-3 dayside the 2-3 weeks mid cycle.

@HidCat yeh true i do try do this its been a year now so getting a bit fed up hopfully dr can shed some light rather know if theres something wrong with me x

@Alex2790 god yes if you can get the testing do so. At least if there is something it can be dealt with. Would you qualify for IVF?

Bit late but can I join in too, my period escaped me for 46 days last time!!! But due again 29th May still in the 'fertile window' currently.

Had my scan at the hospital yesterday to check that my womb lining is think enough after issues with the mirena. So waiting on those two. :)

@Owlpatrol that's disgusting! This shouldn't be happening!!!! What bloods were they? As lots have to be done on specific days I hope they know this and are going to prioritise you!?

@babybeany I’ve heard good things about preseed but I haven’t tried it myself.

I’m full of ridiculous hope that I’ll be super fertile this month after last months early loss. Which is really silly I know, and I’m probably going to feel a lot worse when AF shows.

Just a little update from my end...

The LAP is tomorrow eek !!

Also, got DPs SA results back on Friday and the letter literally just read ... "no sperm".
I can't imagine I could feel lower than I do right now, with things now going on both ends. I can't help but think, 'it's just not to be'. I'm never going to have a child of my own!

He's also fathered a pregnancy in the past (which ended in termination) but it makes me more sad still!

To make matters more confusing, I have ewcm again, so took a strip ov test that was negative but the digital was solid smiley??!!! I don't think it cacn be right though! I'm on CD31 as it is!

@Babybeany I'm sorry you're feeling so down. Hopefully a month off will help recharge your batteries / mind.

Confused got some spotting possible light period yest then nothing today af due tomorrow. Been to drs today as i have been trying a year shes not worries as only 80% of people get pregnant within a year and im only 27 she said my cycle sounds healthy and to continue reducing my bmi as that can help with fertility i have lost a stone already so wanna lose another two. And to start to take preconceive folic acid and to go back in 4-6 months for cycle day 21 bloods. x

I'm not sure if there is or isn't, I won't know until June 4th!
