Hey guys I’m straddling this bus and the pregnancy bus as I’m still not believing I’m pregnant. I took a early test stupidly at 2am this morning and it was negative, given i didn’t have much concentration in my urine as I didn’t hold it in before hand. I held it in after for like an hour or two and done an ic which came out with the faintest line ever. Haven’t got any more money to buy early tests and af due tomorrow. But have boots on preg tests and will try them tomorrow and weds to see (if af doesn’t beat me to it)

Had lots of cm today and some mild cramping today and last night

Silly question alert.. how are you taking your temp for it to be accurate and what thermometer are you using?

Thermometer can go in mouth or vagina from what I've read
And it's those old school thermometers

Have a look on eBay for bbt I think they are called it they do come in packs with opks

Oh bugger just loaded up fertility friend app and put in my cycle details and it said O is tomorrow. I guess I’d better take that as a definite just in case. My last update on my FF account what my pregnancy chart back in 2013 ❤️

Hi Ladies! I just joined today and am still trying to navigate this site. I am so glad to share with others who are in the same situation as me. I should've ovulated Thurs/Fri. I took a test Sunday (way too early obviously) and of course BFN. I will wait to take another test this weekend. Hopefully, I will get some happy news to share with my husband on Christmas [santa]. We are TTC #2. #1 took 1.5 years with a miscarriage after TTC for 9 months. DD is now almost 13 months. I got my first post partum period when she was 11 months due to ending breastfeeding so this is my 2nd cycle trying. Good luck to you all!

I'm still sticking around on the December bus for now, although I don't really have much hope. CD40, no af, no anything. My last cycle was 43 days which I assumed was just long due to being the first since stopping the pill, however maybe my cycle is just 43 days! Guess it's just a waiting game.

@hungryradish, you are so close to the end of the wait! Are your cycles normally that long? I did acupuncture for about 2 months before getting pregnant with my first. I really do think it helped me get pregnant because I could feel changes to my body. My periods were very short and light and they did start to get slightly longer and barely heavier but probably just enough to get pregnant! I started acupuncture this time in September. I was still breastfeeding at that time so AF didn't even show up and was hoping this would help things get going again. Luckily got AF Nov. 3 after weaning and so far the two cycles I have had have been very regular 28 days long. I was surprised to see it return to normal right away and maybe it was due to the acupuncture. I am 36 years old so time is not on my side. I want to try everything I can to get pregnant quickly.

Also feel like I'm coming down with something, maybe tonsilitis as my throat has been all achey past few days

@Justanothermama - you need to get a bbt thermometer (goes to 2 decimal places). You can get them pretty cheap from Amazon and then use an app like fertility friend to chart. You can either temp mouth or vagina. I think vagina supposed to be more consistent but I do mouth!!!! Key is to try and take temp at same time each morning before getting up / drinking / eating etc.

@BrownEyedPeanut- we sound in similar situations. It took me almost a year to conceive my first. And I'm now on cycle 4 TTC #2. I also breastfed til 11 months and AF didn't return til I stopped. LO is 15 months now. Wanted to start TTC asap as it took ages the first time and I don't want big age gap. And I'm already 35 and may ideally like more than 2.....

So I'm 12DPO today. Temps sky high today and full of hope I did a sneaky FRER this evening. Bfn. I'm so angry at myself for testing early as now im just googling 'do I still have hope at 12DPO' and feeling really gutted as deep down I'm pretty sure I'm out. This totally sucks. I really hoped it would be different this time. I guess we're just not a fertile couple.

Got another bfp, so all looks well xx fx I don’t get af over the next 24 hrs

@LostMyBaubles this excites me as I've copied you and done smep all bar one day and on cough mixture (had a cold anyway) so trying not to get my hopes up
