I'm on CD 8 and just about to start the joys of fw and OPKS again for cycle 6 of ttc #1
Anyone else approaching/in fw and got any new tips/ideas you're trying this cycle? Or anything you did different which resulted in BFP? How often if everyone dtd?

Haha fake it. Fair play! Yeh I don't know. On one hand dtd all month long covers all bases in case of late ov... but not sure if it can cause problems! Maybe keep dtd until predicted implantation then stop? Who knows! 🤔

@Merrz I finally got a static smiley this morning (no flashing straight to this) This is 4th day of positives on internet cheapies, not sure what’s going on. How are you getting on? You’re also cd16 aren’t you?

HellaBella that's good you've got static smiley today, strange it missed the flashing when you've been getting positive cheapies. Have you been dtd lots?
Yip cd 16 too, i've had Highs (i think same as flashing smiley but i have advanced monitor) since sunday so hopefully peak tomorrow fx, been dtd at least every other day since cd 11 so just going to try and keep that up until cd 20 then even if i don't get positive opk should hopefully have all bases covered. Just a bit worried i'm not actually ovulating
I don't think dtd in 2ww causes any problems even if you're pregnant but i actually didn't do it at all last 2ww just in case haha

Haha yes I’ve had so many days of positive opks now that my poor DH is a bit exhausted as been dtd every day. Been trying to keep it fun but it’s tough when you’re both tired.

I think I may have ovulated yesterday although not totally sure yet. If so, AF will be due on Christmas Day!!! 😬🎁

LostMy Baubles me too, think he's enjoying being used really though. I'm like couple more days of being super nice then i can go back to my normal self lol. Not that we argue much but i'm just desperate not to cause an argument of any kind that will put him in a grump.
HellaBella same I'm pretty sure i ov either last night or today, had twinges in my right side yesterday evening and pos opk this morning, dtd last night and hopefully again tonight. So af should def be due boxing day for me. Will you test before xmas day?

I'm sure I've ovulated today or going to ov soon as I've broke out in a few spots yesterday, lots of back ache today like can't stand for long as it hurts a lot
Getting ewcm! More than last month (still not loads though but a lil more each time I go)

What cd are you Owlpatrol? I've had pos opks yesterday and today, dtd tuesday night and this morning, maybe try again for tomorrow then fx will be covered. I'm just a little bit concerned, we dtd like 10 mins before i had to get up this morning then when i got up and went to the toilet i feel like it all just ran out of me (sorry tmi) was it a waste or do you think some swimmers would already be on their way?

That's what happens with me nearly all the time

I have to get up to pee and have a shower quickly after I do try to lie down for a few mins kinda tilted lol but I'm sure some swimmers should be going the right way

I've also heard when the woman orgasms it helps pull them up or something? So fx doing ok

The night before from the first time I think I got up around 20mins after so fx it's something to work with lol

That's good though, sounds like you've dtd enough if you did ov yesterday! I don't really ever instigate sex, usually dh is up for it more often than me but this fw i have had to be a bit encouraging and it's hard going lol, I'm actually so glad fw is almost over! I was so determined to make sure we dtd enough and at the right times this cycle so felt like a bit of pressure.

I'm really hoping I do and everyone else falls pregnant this month

It would really be a lot easier as I could hopefully have the baby in the summer hols and recover a little bit before I have to think about getting 4 kids ready in the morning for the school run.

I have very bad deliveries and the midwives advise me to rest for 8 weeks lol Yh 🤔

With my youngest I found out I was having him on the 27th of Dec had him 19th Aug (was induced)

I lost my grandma this year and I want to start 2018 with a positive outlook hopefully

I think you're right with the good results around 11am.
The last few cycels i've been using cbafm with fmu then cheapie opks late afternoon but today and yesterday i used the cheapie opks mid morning, 10am ish, this is the 1st time i've had a proper definite pos on opk so i'm assuming it's because i'm doing it in the morning rather than afternoon?

I read on another thread that the best/strongest swimmers will get to where they need to be pretty quickly. Some can swim to the fallopian tubes within minutes apparently. What 'falls out' is probably the stuff that never would have made it anyway.

I found it reassuring! But I still lie down if I can, just to be sure haha. I'm in my 2ww now, AF/BFP due on 22nd or 23rd depending on which app I believe. Would be the most amazing Christmas present. I feel like I've got sore boobs, twinges in womb etc but I had all of this last cycle and clearly wasn't pregnant! So I'm paying no attention.
