CD19 for me, tested on the ov sticks again today and back to negative results! Was hoping for positive just for one more day... is it worth doing it after? Do you get the surge before the ovulation or during? I never thought ttc would be so hard!
Think i know for sure why nothing happened in previous months now - i stopped bd'ing too early. To ovulate on day 17 is quite late i guess compared to some i've read etc.
Can someone let me know if i should still be bd'ing? I would like a rest but want to keep up the effort for this month!!!!
Also had strange ovary pains and stomach feels huge!

scorpio1 · 16/04/2007 21:14

i would do it the day after as well-the egg can llive up to 24 hours after ov, so worth a go!

waiting4bambino · 16/04/2007 21:18

damn! I'm just watching all my recorded programmes on sky+ too! I'll have to ask him nicely, think he's fed up of the organised romance!

Shantih · 16/04/2007 22:00

Tiger, sorry to leave you hanging in cyberspace. Cheese and Crackers were my tasty snack earlier. Thanks for asking. Already thinking about breakfast.

CD31 has come and gone.

Here's to another good day.

plummymummy · 16/04/2007 23:04

Huh, so that's the gratitude I get Scorpio Right next time I'll forget the allegiance and carry on bidding Ungrateful Cornish Wench On a serious note, that is a seriously lush bag -enjoy

Not temping waitingforbambino - too lazy for all that. Also shift work makes it bit difficult.

Thanks for everyone's advice on ttc at cycle day 18. No longer have stretchy cm so I guess that's it for the month now. Phew, what a relief cos I'm knackered.

MamaMaiasaura · 16/04/2007 23:07

Hello ladies Am now CD50 and AF not here so will do last pg test tomorrow and if BFN (which i think it is) will start provera and sod off to the May thread. I hope not to see you lovely ladies there (in the nicest possible way xx) Thanks for all your really kind support and thoughts and for sharing what is happening with you. Oh and well done scorpio for getting your bag - I know how hard is to study with lo's. I completed 3 years nurse training in October with no childminder etc.

Take care you all xx

becklespeckle · 17/04/2007 00:49

Evening all (or morning...)
Gorgeous bag Scorpio!

Awen - still no AF? how rude! hopefully the next cycle will be the one, you have a stronger dose of Clomid this time don't you? fingers crossed lovely x
Have had AF type cramps all evening at work tonight, they have faded a lot but still lingering. Don't usually get them before AF starts, normally a few hours after - no other sign of her yet though. Am CD29 and 10 dpo (if it happened when I thought) so that's a bit early but at least if she's on her way I will be able to have a BIG drink next weekend when I go out to celebrate my birthday (and I get another chance to try - better than last month's cycle)!

tigerschick · 17/04/2007 08:53

Morning all! Another sunny day is breaking merrily into Leicestershire

Beckle - Hope AF does stay away for you, but gald to see you're looking on the bright side if she turns up! When I was expecting dd I got fairly ratted three times before I realised and it doesn't seem to have made the slightest difference - the mw told me it was fine when I went for my booking appointment! But I guess it's different if you know you are pg!

Good luck with the test Awen. If not bfp, at least you have a sorted plan of action for next month, I know it's not perfect but it's better than not knowing where you stand.

Everyone else - fingers crossed that afs stay away and lots more bfps come flooding in soon

Bbabymumma · 17/04/2007 09:26

Morning all - how are we today? I'm in a good mood, very bizarre

Oh my god Scorpio - my mate has one of those bags and it cost her a small fortune. She won't even carry it on the tube! Fabulous darling. It is nice to have these things to take our minds off the matter in hand.

Shantih pass us the biscuits - cd32 today? any news? do you normally have this long a cycle!?

waiting4bambino if you still have the energy go for it. We lost motivation at cd16 which is rubbish. I usually have a short cycle but I've prob mucked it up again this month grrrrr. Plummymummy you did better than me in the bding stakes. I think we are at around the same point in our cycle?

Let us know what happens - am sure will see you soon.

Have AF stayed away for everyone today?
becklespeckle - let's hope you know one way or another before your birthday drinks. and here's hoping it has to be a sober one!

Lexie100 - let's make that day pass quicker by wasting the hours away on MN!

HannahMTW · 17/04/2007 09:40

Morning everyone! Hope all's well today!

Love the bag Scorpio, am somewhat jealous!

Well this is CD38 for me, I did a 10 miu sensitive test this morning and still got a BFN. Grrrr... So I don't know what the hell's going on! Think another trip to the docs might be on the cards!

Hope there's some positive news elsewhere!

Lexie100 · 17/04/2007 11:18

Feel like AF is on her way as have had cramps most of yesterday and today. Will keep being positive till she arrives.

cheechymunchy · 17/04/2007 11:29

Rather belated morning to everyone! On deadline at work...urgh. No sign of AF yet today. Am in a very good mood though, and that happened last month when AF arrived.
Did have bleeding last night and about 10 minutes ago, but (TMI ALERT!!!!!!!) it looks to be the scar from 3rd degree tear has ripped a bit. OOOOOOH! I'm so flummoxed that I've put a flippin' tampon in, just in case AF is playing silly buggers, but I'm beginning to think it's just the stitches. Great....time to dig out the laxatives again. It's SO degrading and embarrassing.

Lexie100 · 17/04/2007 11:31

Cheechymunchy - that sounds painful, you ok?

cheechymunchy · 17/04/2007 11:38

Yeah, I'm OK. DS is just over two, so I've been having to deal with this for some time. Go through good patches with no bleeding for ages, but DH decided to have two BBQ's at the weekend, and all that meat seems to be taking its toll on my body! I tell you, it was hard not to scream out this morning on the toilet!! I should be in those awful Dulcolax ads, sitting round the table with those women. Maybe then more people would realise the toll childbirth can really have on you...sigh.

Look at me, getting all growly over one end when I should be concentrating on the other end ie. AF and her lack of appearance.

And yes, the hospital has recommended I never give birth naturally again!

Bbabymumma · 17/04/2007 11:45

ohh 3rd degree tear not good, hope you are ok. Noone warns you about that do they? Drink plenty of water and get out the laxatives. I tend to hold the toilet door handle and grit my teeth if I'm having trouble but I'm only a 2nd degree girl. Not very nice, sorry.

Hoping AF stays away for you.

cheechymunchy · 17/04/2007 11:53

Cheers Bbabymumma,
Am downing loads of water right now! I just sigh when it happens, look at a picture of DS and try to remind myself he was thoroughly worth it.

Mind you, it's a good distraction from appearance of AF. Any news your end?

Shantih · 17/04/2007 11:59

AF here.
No more waiting.

cheechymunchy · 17/04/2007 12:02

Awww, Sorry Shantih. Console yourself with a glass of chilled white tonight and move on to the next month.

tigerschick · 17/04/2007 12:11

Sorry Shantih! Glad to see you're looking on the bright side

Sorry you're not having the best of times, cheechy! I was lucky enough to have an episiostmy (sp?) so no tearing. Can't imagine how uncomfortable that must be

Been having af stlye cramps for a couple of days now but my bod is so messed up it could be anything - or nothing! Knowing my luck af will show up the day I go for my scan Still haven't heard about that tho the dr said it'd be within 4 weeks - 2 down and counting.

Hope everyone else is ok this afternoon

Shantih · 17/04/2007 12:16

Thanks all but no worries here. Today is CD1. See you on the May thread.

Bbabymumma · 17/04/2007 12:18

Ah, sorry to hear that Shantih. Add some nice pate, brie and runny poached eggs to go with the wine. I know how disappointing it is. See you in May probably.

Work is dull. CD19. Stopped bding too soon and feel like I've wasted a month but I can't turn back the clock. Can't be bothered to mention to dh that my mathematics were wrong. Maybe there will be a miracle and I ov'd on time this month!

cheechymunchy · 17/04/2007 12:29

tigerschick - I also had an episiotomy (sp?!) but at the final push, ripped right round. Hope noone was eating their lunch when I wrote that!

I told DH last night that AF had arrived after finding blood. He obviously knows the deal after the birth but I just can't be bothered to explain today that I might have been wrong last night. He has very limited knowledge/interest in conception details, so always says "Why aren't you pregnant? What are we doing wrong?" Anyone else have that problem?

Bbabymumma · 17/04/2007 12:42

My dh and I don't really talk about it how bad is that? I don't want him worrying about it or thinking that I'm obsessing about it so I pretend its all ok and not a big deal and we're just seeing what happens. We have a good relationship but I just know if I went on about it like I do to you lot he probably wouldn't be able to ever get it up again. Sorry to lunch eaters again.

I used to tell him if I got any symptoms but I don't bother now. I'd be just the same as you Cheechymunchey and not mention what you thought it was until you know for certain but thats just me.

Hmm just had funny period pain feeling. How can it be - cd19?

Episiositmy (sp?!) I refused one of them because Miriam Stoppard said to. What does she know!

Shantih · 17/04/2007 13:33

My DH doesn't want details either. "Just tell me when dd/ds is due." Basic male nature I guess.

Bbabymumma: Period Pain or Implantation Pain?? Maybe you have bun in the oven.

Bbabymumma · 17/04/2007 13:39

You'll get me going with my imaginary symptoms again. Just been and checked out twoweekwait.com. How to make you mad and obsessive!
