October has only just begun but it's not the month for me so here is the November Bus ready for anyone to join me

Random question... what day does everyone class as day 1 i.e when AF shows? I've always done it from the first day of spotting for my apps but I'm wondering if that could effect the dates it's saying I should ovulate?

@Owlpatrol no your first day is when you get the proper red blood, not spotting x

13 dpo today and AF two days late but still BFN despite symptoms. Am getting upset now because I don't know what to think

lost those fertile days are crazy! not sure how that works!!

band it could be that you implanted late - it can take up to 16dpo to get a positive and in some cases longer... but I know that’s cold comfort. Fingers crossed.

I’m 9DPO today and caved and POAS! Just an IC and it couldn’t have been clearer - gleaming white BFN. I guess I wasn’t really expecting anything this early on and I wouldn’t want to know if it was a chemical in some ways so just back to waiting. For some reason I felt pretty sure that it had happened this month but I have been wrong before. Many times. In fact when I WAS pregnant before I was utterly sure I wasn’t and had BFN and had wine and then surprise! BFP!

@Malapropist Thank you, that has provided sone reassurance. I suppose if I don't get a bfp this month, then at least my luteal phase has lengthened.

Apparently you should leave urine to become room temp I dunno why and then test for opk?

Peeing into a container and dipping... how I’ve always done it.
I’m now scrutinising the frer and can see the tiniest of pathetically faint lines... maybe seeing things though?! Ffs I just want to either be pregnant or drunk!! At the moment, I don’t think I’m either?!

Did that come up within the time somethin - I would be inclined to say it’s a positive. No idea what’s going on with the OPKs I’m afraid!

I couldn’t see it earlier. I just went to put it in the bin and spotted it. Looks pink to me rather than grey/colourless

So I’m on day 20. AF normally comes between day 23-26. Too soon to start peeing on sticks? I’m tempted to have a go in the morning as I’m at a wedding tomorrow and would kind of like to lniwcbefire I drink, but think it’s probably too soon x

Something the opk looks neg to me, the second line has to be as dark or darker than the first line, and it’s slightly lighter now. They aren’t the easiest to read but i did those alongside clear blue and I know I got neg on the cb when mine looked like that.

As for the FRER that’s a difficult one. If it came up after the time frame then I’d say negative. they can have very convincing indent and evap lines on them. Best thing to do with that is take it apart, turn the test strip over to the non shiny side and you’ll always see the very clear indent. Shine your torch on your phone onto it and you’ll see if it’s pink or grey/colourless

I’d definitely make an appointment at the drs now then. Your only going to send yourself crazy wondering every day, and also spend your life savings on all these tests lol!

Just say to the dr that you’ve had inconclusive test results for a few weeks (no harm going a bit ott with it lol) and that you have no idea what’s going on. They should offer you a blood test. You’ll get the results back that day. If there’s hcg in your system they will repeat it in 48 hours to see if it’s doubled. You never know, you could be one of those people that don’t get a proper positive on a hpt and only bloods!

@Fia256 Turn the test strip over?? What section are you referring to, the half with the control strip on the half next to it that is usually hidden inside the plastic??

The half with the control line on it @BandhaAid. The bit you can see through the window. The window part is the shiny side, the other side of it has the indent line on it. So if you ever aren’t sure what your result is (as the indent line can be very clear sometimes from the other side) then taking it apart and looking at the back gives you your answer. I hope that makes sense x

@Somethininthewater I wish I could help but the HPT just looks negative to me. Of course, a positive Opk can be a sign of pregnancy though. Good luck!
