wheelybug · 11/05/2007 09:47

Meto - we really ARE cycle buddies. AF arrived this morning too. Feeling pretty crap tbh - had huge argument with DH too (VERY rare) and went to docs this morning and tests all clear (and I really wanted them to say there was a small problem that htey could sort really easily). All in all been in and out of tears for most of last 24 hours. Will try and follow some of your philosphy meto but finding it hard at the moment.

Doctor was great though and will repeat day 21 test to check it wasn't just this month I ovulated (and I could have told her I ovulated this month as had pains which I haven't had for few months) and would refer me further in the summer (when she had previoulsy suggested only after 18months ttc. This would be 12 months since m/c and about 14 months in total).

Sorry to everyone else who's AF has turned up. Plummy - sounds hopeful.

plummymummy · 11/05/2007 09:55

sorry wheely but it's good news that yr doctor is being helpful.

Soph73 · 11/05/2007 09:59

Wheely - thinking of you I also hate it when me and DH argue as it happens very rarely and we work at the same place (which makes it worse) as I have to see & talk to him even if I just want to ignore him completely

Plummy - I know that feeling as it´s been happening to me over the last couple of months but I shall keep positive for you. I´ve still got a really weird stitch-like pain on my left side which I don´t tend to get during AF and I´m soooo tired I think I could sleep for a week. God, don´t you just hate being a woman sometimes (lol!)

meto · 11/05/2007 10:09

oh wheely i'm so sorry chicken. (((hugs))) I had a huge row with DH as well today - must be these hormones we have.

Hi Anniemac - yes the lines were thick but I think I have read the test wrong (doh). On looking at the instructions again I now realise that the lines are supposed to be v close together (whereas mine are quite far apart)so that line I am getting might be always there if you see what I mean. Anyway, I went to Tesco and bought some cheap tests to use on Tuesday onwards - and some ovulation test strips in case I'm not lucky this month.

Ambi · 11/05/2007 13:36

No wonder I got two lines then What a dipstick I am (pardon the pun). Oh well, back to the drawing board. Looks like I will be joining the june ttc thread at this rate but I will use a cheapie again on Sunday which is two days before period due.

plummy - sounds like a digital is needed which is what i'm now promising in future - no testing other than CB digital on the day of AF being due cos apparently (according to peeonastick.com) there's always a line (other than the control) which basically shows up as any fluids pass by it (it's actually true of the really cheapy one from ebay (I was sad and tried it with water jsut to prove a point! lol.) was hte only way I could explain the line I saw - it was there but underneath the top bit iycwim. good luck thou hope you have a pos on tues.

My DH has moved to Munich during the week - thought ov time would be this weekend when he's back. Really frickin' annoyed to get a +ve OPK on Wednesday...too early! He's on his way back from the airport right now - I wonder if we can sneak in a quick BD when I get home before we miss this month's chance? That is, assuming I can distract DS with CBeebies for a few minutes while mum and dad nip upstairs? ...joking, I'll wait until the wee one has gone to bed.

sweetkitty · 11/05/2007 16:00

afternoon all had quite a hectic day here 5 under 4 most of the day = chaos and mess sometimes it's a pity those adorable newborns have to turn into toddlers!

plummymummy - will keep everything crossed for you, my experience of cheapie ebay tests were as follows, thought I was PG so ordered some which arrived Thurs, AF was due Friday so tested, nothing. Tested Saturday nothing, tested Monday a very very very faint line but still no AF and I felt something was amiss went out and bought a Clearblue digital and you guessed it pregnant! So you never know, is it Tuesday you AF is due, treat yourself to a posh test if AF hasn't arrived by then better to put yourself out of your misery so to speak.

wheely - so sorry to hear AF turned up

meto - lol @don't push now only a man could say that, that's sad about your DH being away at the crucial time as well

MrsMcJnr - whereabouts in Scotland are you and I'm very at you moving to somewhere warm it's freezing here today

soph - hiya cycle buddy CD4 already for us, do you know when you ovulate I have a pretty good idea it's after about CD16-17 so a wee while to go yet. I'm so sad have already worked out AF will be due Weds 6th June

MrsMcJnr · 11/05/2007 16:08

Thanks Karma

Meto thanks. So sorry about AF any chance of following DH on his trip? (then read he?s on exercise ? now imagining you in camouflage sneaking into his tent at the dead of night ) Lots of twins in my family, am hoping to have the next set!

Flosspot sending you all positive vibes!

PinkElephant ? absolutely! Terrified! Hope you are doing ok?

PlummyMummy ? can understand your scepticism but false positives are rare keep testing and keep us posted! Shouldn?t think there would be more than 2 possible lines on the test, maybe the picture is not accurate.

The internet cheapies I had which were BFN 9dpo & 11dpo are now showing a little faint positive, maybe they are not so crap after all!

Soph73 ? probably just horror stories that I have heard!

Hello Tigerschick

Wheely hugs x

Thank you Ambi

Cheechy ? were there any efforts last weekend before he went away? Anything over last weekend still has a chance!

tigerschick · 11/05/2007 16:09

hi MrsMJ you OK?

Lexie100 · 11/05/2007 16:31

Those from TTC April Hi and those of you May TTC sorry i haven't been around much this month. Just needed not to think about TTC for a while. Given this month a really good chance and now on TWW.

Glad all are well.

Just had e mail from access diagnostic and you can get 5% off their products with this code

"Spend over £5 on goods and use this coupon code SP5%". I use their OV sticks and early pg tests. Hope this is useful for some of you.

plummymummy · 11/05/2007 16:42

Thanks for all your kind words ladies. I am still hopeful but agree that I have misinterpreted the tests. I have booked an appt with a female GP next thurs so that if I'm not pg I can discuss my concern that it's taking so long and try and make a thing of my age to be more manipulative in my quest to get some tests done. I also wanted to discuss my smear result as though it was normal I still have to repeat in 6 mths and this happens nearly everytime I have a smear but noone has ever explained why (and frankly, after my last experience of a smear, 6 mths is way too soon!)Also - sorry if too gross but my cm has taken on a dark yellow (almost slightly green like snot) tinge as opposed to creamy colour. No pain or anything and can't be an STD as no one playing away

plummymummy · 11/05/2007 17:05

Oh dear, did I scare everyone away ? On to brighter matters what's everyone's cd - we need an update.
